  • This paper focuses on dispatching strategy for AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicle). The goal of AGV dispatching problem is allocating jobs to AGVs to minimizing QC delay and AGV total travel distance. Due to the highly dynamic nature of container terminal environment, the effect of dispatching is hard to predict thus it leads to frequent modification of dispatching results. Given this situation, single rule-based approach is widely used due to its simplicity and small computational cost. However, single rule-based approach has a limitation that cannot guarantee a satisfactory performance for the various performance measures. In this paper, dispatching strategy based on multicriteria heuristics is proposed. Proposed strategy consists of multiple decision criteria. A muti-objective evolutionary algorithm is applied to optimize weights of those criteria. The result of simulation experiment shows that the proposed approach outperforms single rule-based dispatching approaches.

  • This paper focuses on dispatching strategy for AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicle). The goal of AGV dispatching is assigning AGVs to requested job to minimizing the delay of QCs and the travel distance of AGVs. Due to the high dynamic nature of container terminal environment, the effect of dispatching is hard to predict thus it leads to frequent modification of dispatching decisions.   • This study aims to investigate the effect of reflection on learning outcomes in higher education. Undergraduates enrolled in 3 courses about computer education were involved in the study. They wrote reflective notes with guided questions over six times throughout a semester, and then their task value, learning engagement and academic achievement were measured followed by a survey and interviews to investigate students' responses. As a result, positive influence of the reflective activities was found in cognitive, behavioral and emotional learning engagement and learning achievement. For further studies, the development of reflective strategies for learning motivation and collaborative reflection was suggested.

  • The PID controller has been widely applied to the most control systems because of its simple structure and east designing. One of the important points to design the PID control system is to tune the approximate control parameters for the given target system. To find the PID parameters using Ziegler Nichols(ZN) method needs a lot of experience and experiments to ensure the optimal performance. In this paper, CMIA(Cell Mediated Immune Algorithm) controller is proposed to drive the autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) more effectively. The proposed controller is based on specific immune responses of the biological immune system which is the cell mediated immunity. To verify the performance of the proposed CMIA controller, some experiments for the control of steering and speed of that AGV are performed. The tracking error of the AGV is mainly investigated for this purpose. As a result, the capability of realization and reliableness are proved by comparing the response characteristics of the proposed CMIA controllers with those of the conventional PID and NNPID(Neural Network PID) controller.

  • Abstract - In this paper, an adaptive mechanism based on immune algorithm is designed and it is applied for the autonomous guided vehicle(AGV) driving. When the immune algorithm is applied to the PID controller, there exists the case that the plant is damaged due to the abrupt change of PID parameters since the parameters are adjusted almost randomly. To solve this problem, a neural network is used to model the plant and the parameter tuning of the model is performed by the immune algorithm. After the PID parameters are determined in this off-line manner, these gains are then applied to the plant for the on-line control using immune adaptive algorithm. Moreover, even though the neural network model may not be accurate enough intially, the weighting parameters are adjusted to be accurate through the on-line fine tuning. The computer simulation for the control of steering and speed of AGV is performed. The results show that the proposed controller has better performances than other conventional controllers.

  • Cable fairings of guided missiles are generally used for protection of electric cables under aerodynamic heating and mechanical loading. The stress distributions between a cable fairing and missile main body along a cable fairing are necessary for its design. In this paper, a method for bonding stress and strength analysis of a cable fairing has been investigated and its computer program developed. Tensile and three-point bending tests of generally used bonding materials were also conducted to supply basic material properties for design of cable fairings.

  • In the environment where AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicles) operate concurrently in limited space, collisions. deadlocks, and livelocks which have negative effect on the productivity of AGVs occure more frequently. The accelerated motion of an AGV is also the factor that make the AGV routing more difficult because the accelerated motion makes it difficult to estimate the vehicle's exact travel time. In this study, we propose methods of avoiding collisions, deadlocks, and livelocks using OAR(Occupancy Area Reservation) table, and selecting best route by estimating the travel time of an AGV in accelerated motion. A time-driven simulation validated the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

KI-HABS: Key Information Guided Hierarchical Abstractive Summarization

  • With the unprecedented growth of textual information on the Internet, an efficient automatic summarization system has become an urgent need. Recently, the neural network models based on the encoder-decoder with an attention mechanism have demonstrated powerful capabilities in the sentence summarization task. However, for paragraphs or longer document summarization, these models fail to mine the core information in the input text, which leads to information loss and repetitions. In this paper, we propose an abstractive document summarization method by applying guidance signals of key sentences to the encoder based on the hierarchical encoder-decoder architecture, denoted as KI-HABS. Specifically, we first train an extractor to extract key sentences in the input document by the hierarchical bidirectional GRU. Then, we encode the key sentences to the key information representation in the sentence level. Finally, we adopt key information representation guided selective encoding strategies to filter source information, which establishes a connection between the key sentences and the document. We use the CNN/Daily Mail and Gigaword datasets to evaluate our model. The experimental results demonstrate that our method generates more informative and concise summaries, achieving better performance than the competitive models.

  • 인공지능 시대에 들어서면서 개인 맞춤형 환경을 제공하기 위하여 사람의 감정을 인식하고 교감하는 기술이 많이 발전되고 있다. 사람의 감정을 인식하는 방법으로는 얼굴, 음성, 신체 동작, 생체 신호 등이 있지만 이 중 가장 직관적이면서도 쉽게 접할 수 있는 것은 표정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 정확도 높은 얼굴 감정 식별을 위해서 Convolution Block Attention Module(CBAM)의 각 Gate와 Residual Block, Skip Connection을 이용한 Identity- CBAM Module을 제안한다. CBAM의 각 Gate와 Residual Block을 이용하여 각각의 표정에 대한 핵심 특징 정보들을 강조하여 Context 한 모델로 변화시켜주는 효과를 가지게 하였으며 Skip-Connection을 이용하여 기울기 소실 및 폭발에 강인하게 해주는 모듈을 제안한다. AI-HUB의 한국인 감정 인식을 위한 복합 영상 데이터 세트를 이용하여 총 6개의 클래스로 구분하였으며, F1-Score, Accuracy 기준으로 Identity-CBAM 모듈을 적용하였을 때 Vanilla ResNet50, ResNet101 대비 F1-Score 0.4~2.7%, Accuracy 0.18~2.03%의 성능 향상을 달성하였다. 또한, Guided Backpropagation과 Guided GradCam을 통해 시각화하였을 때 중요 특징점들을 더 세밀하게 표현하는 것을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 이미지 내 표정 분류 Task에서 Vanilla ResNet50, ResNet101을 사용하는 것보다 Identity-CBAM Module을 함께 사용하는 것이 더 적합함을 입증하였다.

Accuracy of a direct drill-guiding system with minimal tolerance of surgical instruments used for implant surgery: a prospective clinical study

  • PURPOSE. A recently introduced direct drill-guiding implant surgery system features minimal tolerance of surgical instruments in the metal sleeve by using shank-modified drills and a sleeve-incorporated stereolithographic guide template. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of this new guided surgery system in partially edentulous patients using geometric analyses. MATERIALS AND METHODS. For the study, 21 implants were placed in 11 consecutive patients using the direct drill-guiding implant surgery system. The stereolithographic surgical guide was fabricated using cone-beam computed tomography, digital scanning, computer-aided design and computer-assisted manufacturing, and additive manufacturing processes. After surgery, the positional and angular deviations between planned and placed implants were measured at the abutment level using implant-planning software. The Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to compare the deviations (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The mean horizontal deviations were 0.593 mm (SD 0.238) mesiodistally and 0.691 mm (SD 0.344) buccolingually. The mean vertical deviation was 0.925 mm (SD 0.376) occlusogingivally. The vertical deviation was significantly larger than the horizontal deviation (P=.018). The mean angular deviation was 2.024 degrees (SD 0.942) mesiodistally and 2.390 degrees (SD 1.142) buccolingually. CONCLUSION. The direct drill-guiding implant surgery system demonstrates high accuracy in placing implants. Use of the drill shank as the guiding component is an effective way for reducing tolerance.
