  • Software vulnerabilities are becoming more and more increasing, their role is to harm the computer systems of companies, governmental organizations and agencies. The main objective of this paper is to propose a method that will cluster future software vulnerabilities that may spread. This method is developed by combining the Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA), the Elbow procedure and the Kmeans Algorithm. A simulation was done on a dataset of 15713 observations. This simulation allowed us to identify families of future vulnerabilities. This model was evaluated using the silhouette index.

  • Unlike FEM (Finite Element Method), which provides an accurate deformation of soft objects, FFD (Free Form Deformation) based methods have been widely used for a quick and responsive representation of deformable objects in real-time applications such as computer games, animations, or simulations. The FFD-AABB (Free Form Deformation Axis Aligned Bounding Box) algorithm was also suggested to address the collision handling problems between deformable objects at an interactive rate. This paper proposes an enhanced FFD-AABB algorithm to improve the frame rate of simulation by adding the bounding sphere based collision test between 3D deformable objects. We provide a comparative analysis with previous methods and the result of proposed method shows about an 85% performance improvement.

  • According to the advancement of computer and simulation method, it becomes possible to predict indoor climate precisely by using CFD simulation coupled with heat conduction, convection, and radiation. However, predicting the indoor climate is generally conducted by using a simplified CFD coupled simulation method since it takes quite long time to use a general CFD simulation method. In this study, a simplified CFD coupled simulation was conducted in order to find out the effect of natural ventilation by wind-driven in atrium. As a result of calculation, it was clarified that the natural ventilation driven by temperature difference was not enough to remove the accumulated heat of upper zone and the natural ventilation by wind-driven was needed. Finally, it is required to decide the window direction and size based on correct indoor climate prediction method for the effective use of natural ventilation by wind-driven.

  • We need to study on simulation method of user's mobility Patterns for the performance analysis of the location management in wireless mobile networks. For this purpose ,this paper presents a user mobility model of wireless mobile networks with regular Patterns Sometimes mobile users randomly move , but they show the movement characteristics that regularly change their locations in some patterns in given time slots. So, we suggest the mobility model that can describe user's time related movement patterns. This model consists of some elements-positions, transitions , transition Probabilities which are variable, and some geographical paths for each transitions. We describe the simulation method for users' mobilities with random movements and regular movements , too. The simulation results by the model show that the suggested model can generate movement scenarios having regular patterns related with location and time.

  • This paper calculates and gives the analysis of mean energy in pure $SiH_4,\;Ar-SiH_4$ mixture gases ($SiH_4-0.5[%],\;5[%]$) over the range of $E/N =0.01{\sim}300[Td]$, p = 0.1, 1, 5.0 [Torr] by Monte Carlo the Backward prolongation method of the Boltzmann equation using computer simulation without using expensive equipment. The results have been obtained by using the electron collision cross sections by TOF, PT, SST sampling, compared with the experimental data determined by the other author. It also proved the reliability of the electron collision cross sections and shows the practical values of computer simulation. The calculations of electron swarm parameters require the knowledge of several collision cross-sections of electron beam. Thus, published momentum transfer, ionization, vibration, attachment, electronic excitation, and dissociation cross-sections of electrons for $SiH_4$ and Ar, were used. The differences of the transport coefficients of electrons in $SiH_4$, mixtures of $SiH_4$ and Ar, have been explained by the deduced energy distribution functions for electrons and the complete collision cross-sections for electrons. A two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation analysis and Monte Carlo simulation have been used to study electron transport coefficients.

  • This paper deals with the problem of extraction of voice signal embedded in 1/f noise. We propose the extraction method using wavelet. This method is based on Wornell's modelling which can construct 1/f process in terms of uncorrelated variables and is well suited on treating 1/f process. Finally, we show further describe our method through simulation.

  • Die design by computer simulation has some advantages compared with the conventional method which has performed by designer's experiences and trials and errors. The die filling and solidification process of thixoforming process were simulated by MAGMAsoft/thixo module. First of all, thixoforming die design was applied to previously geometry shape. The value of pressure distribution shows high and uniform as the gate diameter is 18mm. Designed gating system considering the deformation of die and product was suggested by the filling simulation. Gate velocity(7.25m/s) of designed gating system shows that propriety to semi-solid metal working process and CAE results were in good agreement with experimental results.

  • In photoelasticity, the directions of principal stresses are given by isoclinic fringe patterns. In this study, photoelastic theory is represented by Jones calculus and the photoelastic 8-step phase shifting method is described. A feasibility study using computer simulation is done to get isoclinics from photoelastic fringes of a circular disk under diametral compression. Fringe patterns of the disk are generated from the stress-optic law. The magnitudes of isoclinics obtained from the fringe patterns of computer simulation and experiment are compared with those of theory. The results are close between them. Then, the 8-step phase shifting method is applied to get distributions of isoclinics along the specified lines of a cuved beam plate under tensile load. Experimental results obtained from the phase shifting method were compared with those of finite element analysis (ANSYS). It is confirmed that measurement of isoclinic distributions is possible by use of photoelasitc phase shifting method.

  • A computer simulation technique for 2-dimensional laser generated ultrasonic waves was developed for visualization and investigation of ultrasonic propagation in solids. The technique is similar to a finite difference method (FDM) and a mass-particle model method, but uses a new nodal calculation method based on fundamental consideration of an elastic wave equation. By this method, the propagation behavior oflaser generated ultrasonic wave in thermoelastic and ablation mode is visualized and shows good agreement with previous experimental result or the numerical analysis result by Green function.

  • This study aimed to investigate the flood prevention effect expected from the afforestation of a large area metal roof of an industrial complex located in an area prone to floods in the rainwater outflow reduction aspect through computer simulation based on soil, which is a key element of the system. In order to conduct a more realistic simulation, the properties of the surveyed soil were generated through substantive analysis, soil texture analysis, and saxton method. A comparative performance evaluation was conducted by using soil depth and ponding depth, which are key elements of the system, as variables. The study result showed that during the heavy rainfall period, the bottom ash artificial soil had 61% rainwater outflow reduction effect, which was 11% higher than the SWMM standard sand.
