무선 센서 네트워크의 사용분야가 넓어짐에 따라 다양한 종류의 플랫폼을 지원하고 센서 노드의 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 관리하는 센서 운영체제들에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 운영체제들의 특징과 장단점을 분석해 보고, 태스크 관리와 메모리 관리 측면에서 성능 평가를 수행했다. 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 더욱 효율적인 시스템 설계를 위한 대안을 제시한다.

최근 자유 여행을 즐기는 사람이 늘어남에 따라, 그에 맞춰 여행 애플리케이션은 빅데이터를 기반으로 관광지 추천 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그렇지만 이 경우 전형적인 관광지만을 추천하여 독특한 여행 경험을 원하는 여행자들을 만족시키지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문은 현지인 가이드가 자신만의 경험이 담긴 투어 상품을 구상하고 직접 안내까지 함으로써 여행자에게 특별한 현지 경험을 선사해 주는 것을 목표로 한 여행 가이드 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. 가이드와 여행자 입장에서 각각의 편리성 제공을 위해 두 개의 애플리케이션으로 개발하였으며, 웹서버 연동을 통해 상호간의 실시간 정보 업데이트가 가능하게 하였다. 또한 네이티브 애플리케이션을 기반으로 여행지 어디에서나 투어 상품을 구매할 수 있어 여행자에게 편리성을 제공한다.

한국이 정보 선진국으로 발전함에 따라 노인들의 스마트폰 보유율은 증가하고 있지만, 디지털 환경에 대한 접근성과 경험 부족 등의 이유로 아직도 디지털 약자이다. 그런데도 노령층들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 노령자 전용 애플리케이션의 개발은 저조한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해소하기 위해 노령층을 대상으로 다양한 생활 정보를 제공하는 모바일 애플리케이션, 'Seniors Guide'를 개발하였다. 'Seniors Guide'는 사용자 거주지역 주민 센터의 자치 프로그램 정보, 노인 일자리 정보, TV 프로그램 알람, 투약 시간 알람 설정 기능을 제공하는 등 노령층에서 자주 이용하는 다양한 정보와 기능들을 하나의 애플리케이션에서 유용하게 사용할 수 있도록 하는 앱으로 구현되었다.

This paper proposes a distributed algorithm to maintain the Delaunay triangulation of moving points. We assume that every point is a processor which can only communicate with the adjacent points connected by edges in the Delaunay triangulation. The topology changes of the Delaunay triangulation due to the movement of the points are updated automatically by local operations of the points without any centralized processor or global information.

In this paper, we propose a novel CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning) system, which is called POMY (POSTECH Immersive English Study). In our system, students can study English while talking to characters in a computer-generated virtual environment. POMY also supports haptic feedback, so students can study English in a more interesting manner. Haptic feedback is provided by two platforms, a haptic chair and a force-feedback device. The haptic chair, which is equipped with an array of vibrotactile actuators, delivers directional information to the student. The force-feedback device enables the student to feel the physical properties of an object. These haptic systems help the student better understand English conversations and focus on studying. We conducted a user experiment and its results showed that our haptic-enabled English study contributes to better learning of English.
