The segmentation of brain in MRI using Speckle Reducing Anisotropic Diffusion (Speckle reducing anisotropic diffusion를 이용한 MRI에서의 뇌 영상분할)

  • 본 논문에서는 인체의 머리 부분을 촬영한 자기 공명 촬영 영상(MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging)에서 뇌 영역의 대뇌 피질 만을 분할하는 방법에 대해 제시하고자 한다. 뇌의 해부학적 구조를 파악할 경우에 영상 내에 함께 보여지는 두개골과 뇌척수액 등을 제외한 대뇌피질 영역을 분할하면 보다 효과적인 정보 분석 및 진단이 가능하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 3단계 알고리즘을 제시한다. 첫번째 단계에서는 Speckle reducing anisotropic diffusion (SRAD)를 이용하여 영상 내에 존재하는 잡음을 제거하기 위한 필터링이다. 두번째 단계에서는 필터링된 결과를 이용하여 추출된 임계값과 사용자의 인터렉션인 씨드 포인트를 통해 영상분할을 수행하고, 세 번째 단계에서는 후 처리를 통해 분할 결과를 보완한다. 영상분할 결과의 정확성을 측정하기 위하여 현재 병원의 의료진들이 사용하고 있는 Mayo clinic사의 Analyze를 이용하여 분할된 결과와의 오류를 측정하였다. 또한 최종 결과에 대해 ultravis를 이용한 볼륨 렌더링으로 영상분할의 최종 결과를 제시하였다.

  • From the beginning of 21st century, digital cameras became popular. In computer graphics community, much re search has been done using photographs taken by digital cameras. This kind of research is categorized as computational photography. The purpose of this paper is to explain the appearance of computational photography in the history of photography. Moreover, the history of photography is explained as a series of paradigm shifts. Based on the analysis, future research directions of computational photography will be given.

  • As modern computer graphics technology has been developed, it is hard to discriminate computer graphics from photographic images with the naked eye. Advances in graphics technology has brought a lot of convenience to human, it has side effects such as image forgery, malicious edit and fraudulent means. In order to cope with such problems, studies of various algorithms using a feature that represents a characteristic of an image has been processed. In this paper, we verify directly the existing algorithm, and provide new features based a noise that represents the characteristics of the computer graphics well. And this paper introduces the method of using SVM(Support Vector Machine) with features proposed in previous research to improve the discrimination accuracy.

  • 본 논문은 파티클을 이용하여 다상의 기체에 대한 형상 제어를 수행하는 기법을 제안한다. 유체를 하나의 목표 형상으로 변형시키기 위한 힘만 샐에 적용하는 기존 연구와 달리, 본 논문에서는 단일 밀도장내에서 파티클마다 다른 목표 형상으로 가고자 하는 힘을 정의하여 서로 다른 성질의 유체를 구성하는 파티클이 각자의 목표 형상으로 진행하는 동시에 상호작용이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한, 목표 형상 내부에서의 분산력을 정의하여 파티클들이 목표 형상에 도달한 후에도 목표 형상의 세밀한 특징을 표현하기 위해 멈추지 않고 고르게 분산되게 하였다.

  • Young casual brands today is beset with perplexing difficulties, as consumer tastes become more sophisticated. Consumers request the type of product they want and how they want it differenciated from existing product. This study research that young casual brands seek to react to consumer who wants special and different fashion items, have a look for definite concept and target. Also In modem digital environment, Young Casual brands needs a quick and comprehensive action against a change of scene. So This study propose resort wear design with the use of computer graphics to applicate on young casual brands as developing various and effective design method, target on girlish young casual with unique indiviuality of lovely sensitivity. The result of this research as follows. First, young casual brands will have to seek ways to differentiate as brand identity, value of product, satisfaction for consumer's culture and lifestyle. Second, As a result of the adaptation of ethnic fashion, 8 resort wears designed development of girlish young casual wear using computer graphics. Third, computer graphics could contribute to the rapid composition of diverse, new and differenciated design research on it.

Application of Multi-Resolution Modeling in Collaborative Design (협업 설계에서의 다중해상도 모델링 응용)

  • Information assurance(IA) refers to methodologies to protect engineering information by ensuring its availability, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, authentication, access control, etc. In collaborative design, IA techniques are needed to protect intellectual property, establish security privileges and create "need to know" protections on critical features. Aside from 3D watermarking, research on how to provide IA to distributed collaborative engineering teams is largely non-existent. This paper provides a framework for information assurance within collaborative design, based on a technique we call role-based viewing. Such role-based viewing is achieved through integration of multi-resolution geometry and security models. 3D models are geometrically partitioned, and the partitioning is used to create multi-resolution mesh hierarchies. Extracting an appropriately simplified model suitable for access rights for individual designers within a collaborative design environment is driven by an elaborate access control mechanism.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경 실현을 위해 차량의 정보화 능력 향상은 필수적이나 이에 관련한 연구는 미비한 편이다. 본 논문은 고성능의 내장형 컴퓨터 및 평판 디스플레이 기술을 자동차 계기 시스템에 적용하여 차량의 컴퓨팅 능력을 증대시키고, 이러한 물리적 환경에 적합한 계기 시스템 설계 모델을 제시한다 제안하는 계기시스템은 디지털 디스플레이의 특성을 살린 레이아웃과 그래픽 효과를 통해 상황에 따라 동적으로 운용된다. 또한 그래픽 인터페이스와 결합한 모바일 기기가 제공되어 사용자가 손쉽게 계기 시스템의 기능을 제어할 수 있다.

  • Bump mapping is an elegant rendering technique to simulate wrinkled surfaces such as bark, which enables to produce more realistic image than texture-mapped one. This paper presents a new algorithm for bump mapping along with a hardware architecture to run our algorithm in real-time. The proposed approach is more efficient than previous one, and in particular, our hardware architecture is simpler to implement.
