A study on analysis of compressor motor with PWM (PWM을 고려한 소형 컴프레셔 모터의 성능 해석에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 컴프레셔 모터의 정확한 손실 계산을 위하여 PWM 파형을 이용하여 컴프레셔 모터의 철손과 효율을 해석하였다. 시험을 통하여 PWM 파형을 측정하였으며, 측정된 파형을 해석에 필요한 전류원으로 사용하였다. 이를 통하여 고조파 성분이 포함되었을 때의 철손을 해석할 수 있었으며, 모터의 효율을 계산하였다.

  • This paper presents the thermal modeling and analysis of Line power Start Permanent magnet Motor (LSPM). Thermal analysis of electrical machines is important because temperatures that are consistently too high will reduce the life time of machines and may lead to serious failure. Coefficients of convection are calculated according to the types of operating conditions. And computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique is performed in order to predict thermal characteristic. The results are compared to the test results.

  • 본 논문은 냉장고 컴프레서용 단상유도전동기의 고효율화를 위한 회전자의 알루미늄 충진율 향상에 관한 설계적 기법에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 주조 방식과 제안한 주조 방식을 적용한 회전자의 FEM 해석과 이을 기반으로 하는 실제 회전자를 제작 및 비교 실험을 통하여 제안한 방식의 충진율이 향상된 회전자가 효율이 증가함을 확인함으로써 제안한 방식의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • Recently, Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(IPMSM) is widely used in the industry applications such as power train for hybrid vehicles and compressor motors of air-conditioner due to its high power density and wide speed range. There are some ways for confirming of maximum power in IPMSM. However, This paper suggests that there is a way about making sure maximum power by reducing turn numbers of armature winding. Setting up the voltage equation through the equivalent circuit and vector diagram of IPMSM first, and then estimating the parameter and power of IPMSM by changing the turn numbers of armature winding and voltage. In order to satisfy output power, the turn numbers of armature winding is changed by using the characteristic analysis, and then checking whether secure maximum power or not.

  • A high-speed brushless DC motor for a 50-kW, 70-krpm turbo-compressor was developed based on a 2-D analytical method, of which design was verified using the FE analysis. A prototype machine was also fabricated and tested to confirm the analytical design. Preliminarily obtained experimental data using the prototype machine shows the validity of the analytical approach.

  • Many recent development activities suggest the possibility of a high-speed turbo(centrifugal) compressor or blower for the industrial application of compressed air supplying system when used with the most advanced high-speed motor, inverter technology, and advanced bearing for high rotational speed. The problems to be overcome are of reliability, the application of mass production methods, cost effective manufacture and competitive running costs. This presentation is not focused on a specific technology advances but on an overall review of our recent experiences while we have developed the high pressure turbo blower for the commercial purpose.

  • This paper deals with design of Synchronous Reluctance Motor with conventional laminated rotor for driving an air conditional compressor in a vehicle. To design both stator and rotor, design parameters, such as laminated axial length, rotor diameter, resistance and inductance are considered. The design variables are selected to get the highest power by analyzing the characteristics. The current angle in which torque is maximum is accomplished by finite element method(FEM).

  • This paper presents a method to reduce commutation torque ripple in a sensorless brushless DC motor drive without current sensors. To compensate the commutation torque ripple completely, the duration of commutation must be known. The proposed method measures the duration of commutation from terminal voltage waveforms, calculates a PWM duty ratio to suppress the commutation torque ripple from the output of speed controller, and applies the calculated PWM duty ratio only during the commutation. Experimental results show that vibrations are considerably reduced when the proposed method is applied to the sensorless brushless DC moter drive for air-conditioner compressor.

  • An adhesive wireless bookbinding machine was designed with optimal motor control and automatic cover insertion for bookbinding. The noise level was improved by modifying the thrust of the machine and changing from a compressor method to an AC induction motor control method. The automatic cover insertion function was added to improve the task speed. Motor and decelerator damage can be caused by sudden braking and acceleration of the motor rotation (clockwise and counter-clockwise), so a buffer-type locational control system was developed to secure stable movement and durability. The complicated internal design was also simplified, and the volume and weight were decreased. The results show that the noise was decreased by 57% from 135 dB to 71.7 dB, and the task speed was decreased by 57% from 18 s to 9.58 s. The automatic cover insertion was designed to supply a maximum of 130 sheets per supply.
