Purpose: As the nation is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the patient who has Diseases of cardiovascular disease. So it is necessarily to build a facility which provides specialized health care. Methods: Field surveys to facilities and analysis to the floor plan have been conducted in order to suggest adequate architectural composition to the specialized cardiovascular center and the dimensions of rooms. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into six points which contain guide to how to organize the specialized cardiovascular center. One of the most important things in this study is to suggest the architectural type which provides efficient collaborating system between the outpatient and angiography unit. Implications: It can be said that this paper can be useful research material when the architect tries to plan the specialized cardiovascular center.

As a society advances and develops more rapidly, there is a corresponding increase of cancer. Cancer centers have been the healthcare facilities for the public in Korea. But architectural studies on cancer centers have been insufficient. In this study some methods for the organization of space in the cancer centers in korea. The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of cancer centers and to collect the data of spatial composition of cancer centers. And the research data collected might be utilized for planning of cancer centers.

Objects : The aim of this study was evaluate the effect of the Saengsig taken along with Behavior Modification Therapy, Methods : We examined the body compositions of 20 obese patients who were treated with Saengsig and Behavior Modification Therapy for 2 months by Inbody 2.0. Results : Changes of body composition due to Saengsig with Behavior Modification Therapy were reduction of body weight by $3.14{\pm}1.33{\;}kg$, lean body mass by $0.14{\pm}1.48{\;}kg$, fat mass by $3.00{\pm}1.53kg$ and BMI by $1.30{\pm}0.54$ Conclusion : Fat mass and body fat rate were significantly reduced after treatment with Saengsig with Behavior Modification Therapy.

This study is about the Spatial Composition and Area Distribution in the Urban Health Centers. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic direction of urban health center plans which has urban characters according to the changes of public health systems and environments. The methods of this research was executed by surveys of documents and plans and field observations. The targets of this study are public health centers that have been constructed since 2000 and are constructing until now and investigated this facilities.

This study intended to analyze the size and composition of social network and to identify their related variables in urban nuclear families. Data were collected through the questionnaires by wives living in Seoul area. The methods of statistical analysis used in the study were the frequency mean percentile and one-way ANOVA. The findings were as follows; 1) The size of social network in urban nuclear families was 10.0 in average and 2-33 in range. 2) The composition of social network were 45.5% in relatives 20.6% in neighbors. 21.8% in friends. 4,7% in coworkers, 4.1% religious group members 2.1% in associational members. and 1.4% in formal supporters. 3) The birth order of husbands was related to the size of social network. The composition of social network was influenced by SES family life cycle husband's birth order housing type residence duration age education employment religion and familism.

Objectives : Man adapts himself to nature, so accordingly as he grows up, changes of body composition appear. This study measured the changes of body compositions on the ground of Sasang constitution and seasons Methods : 253 middle school students who live in Busan were studied from the 20th of March, 1999 to the 20th of March, 2001. We measured height and body compositions with Inbody 3.0, six times during that period. Results : According as they grew up, total body water, muscle area, body weight, BMI (Body Mass Index), BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), ACM (Arm Muscle Circumference), and BCM (Body Cell Mass) increased, but fat body weight ratio decreased. From March to June, total body water, muscle area, height, ACM, and BCM increased. From September to December fat body weight, fat body weight ratio, waist hip ratio increased as compared with other seasons. Height of Soyangin and BMI of both Soyangin and Taeumin increased more than those of other groups, with statistical significance Conclusions : The growth of man is adapting oneself to changes of nature, and it corresponds to the theory of (correspondence between man and universe).

Objective : Effects of Gamibangpungtongseungsan on lipid composition and antioxidant system were investigated in rat fed high fat diet. Methods : We fed control group rats high fat diet and administered normal saline for 8 weeks, and experimental group rats high fat diet and administered extract of Gamibangpungtongseungsan for 8 weeks. Results : Body weight gain, concentration of plasma triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol showed a tendency to decrease in Gamibangpungtongseungsan groups. However, the concentration of LDL-cholesterol showed a tendency to increase in Gamibangpungtongseungsan groups. Plasma and liver TBARS concentration showed a low values in Gamibangpungtongseungsan groups. Activities of SOD, GSH-Px and CAT showed a tendency to increase in Gamibangpungtongseungsan groups. Conclusions : These results indicate that Gamibangpungtongseungsan has a deep inhibitory effect on lipid composition and antioxidant system.
