VES-LMC의 보수·보강 두께에 따른 RC보의 휨거동 특성 (Flexural Bchavior of RC Beam according to Thickness Repaired and Rehabilitated with VES-LMC)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the flexural, interfacial behavior, crack propagation, nonlinear behavior, effect repaired and rehabilitated with VES-LMC using RC beam with 4-point-loading test. The results were following: The test result showed that repair and rehabilitation effect increased as its depth increased, which was verified by the increase of flexural stiffness. More than 40% of stiffness was improved when the depth of repair was up to steel position. However, there was a little difference between 8cm and 12cm repaired beam. This means the repair depth must be considered. The interfacial behavior data showed that the repaired or rehabilitated beams had a little relative displacement. This means that two materials behave comparatively acting together. This suggested that interface treatment were one of the most important jobs in composite beams.

Patch Plate Repair Method for Steel Structures Combining Adhesives and Stud Bolts

  • Recently, a repair method by bonding patch plates is being applied to corroded steel structures. However, one of the issues of patch plate bonding repair is the brittle debonding of the patch plates. Generally, when the delamination of the patch plates occurs, the composite effect acting between the steel members and patch plates abruptly decreases. Therefore, to prevent the brittle debonding of the patch plates, a repair method combining an adhesive and stud bolts is proposed. Till date, tensile and compressive tests have been performed for the proposed method. In this study, plate bending tests were conducted to verify the effectiveness of this method under bending conditions. Furthermore, two types of epoxy resin-based adhesives were prepared to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method with different adhesive properties. The test results show that the proposed method is able to prevent the brittle debonding of the patch plates in the case of both epoxy resins.

  • This technology is a water leak repair technology using composite materials of concrete structures that block leakage of structures by injecting rapid microcement into the face of underground concrete to block water and injecting flexible glycidylacrylate. Rapid micro cement system repair materials are mixed with fine fibers to improve the flexural sensitivity of the material and to form a layer that blocks stabilized water at the back of the structure by allowing rapid and tight spatial filling during injection with high cohesion The glycidylacrylate repair material can control the expansion rate, and the external stress also has the characteristic that the form of the material is not destroyed or separated, which can also be applied to vibrating induced structures that produce repetitive fatigue loads, and has an effective durability in saline, alkali, acid (chloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid).

  • Recent earthquakes in California and Japan caused extensive damage to highway bridge structures. It is also thought that during probable earthquakes bridge structures in Korea could be failed due to the structural deficiencies, which were nonseismically designed and constructed before 1992. In these regards, innovative strengthening methods have been developed to repair reinforced concrete bridge columns, especially by glassfiber sheet bonding methods which are widely used today. The primary objective of this research is to investigate the seismic behavior of RC bridge columns retrofitted with composite straps and to propose pertinent guidelines of repair and rehabilitation method for earthquake resistant design procedure of RC bridges which are located in low or moderate seismicity regions. Six scaled-down concrete test specimens were made with test variables such as lap splice ratio, axial force ratio, confinement ratio, composite straps in the plastic hinge region. Pertinent design guidelines could be developed for the earthquake resistant design of RC bridge piers retrofitted with glassfibers in low or moderate seismic region.

  • This study focused on the introduction of damage repair for polymeric composite carbody. called selfing tech-healinique. using microcapsules loaded with the healing agent The manufacturing process for microcapsules with the healing agent was introduced and tile characteristics of microcapsules manufactured by varying with various manufacturing process variables were evaluated. The DCPD was used for the healing agent and microcapsules were made of urea-formaldehyde resin. The magnitude and the size distribution of microcapsules were measured by a particle size analyzer using laser diffraction technique. Thermal stability was investigated by using a TGA under continuous and isothermal heating conditions for the healing agent. microcapsules without the healing agent. microcapsules with the healing agent.

  • Aerospace industries are widely using honeycomb sandwich structures that it has high specific strength and stiffness, chemical material resistance and fatigue resistance. But, in repairing process of damaged areas, one of the problems is that delamination can be occurred in the sound areas during and/or after the exposure to the elevated curing temperature in case that the repair process is repeated. Therefore, this study was conducted Flatwise tensile, Drum peel and Long beam flexural strength tests to evaluate the degree of degradation of mechanical properties of the honeycomb sandwich structures by affecting thermal aging. As the results, the decrease of mechanical strength was observed at the specific specimen which is exposed over 50hrs at $127^{\circ}C$.

  • In this paper we present tile results of an experimental investigation on the physical and mechanical properties of carbon fiber grid, polymer mortar, and carbon fiber grid reinforced plain concrete flexural members. In order to repairing and reinforcing damaged and/or deteriorated existing concrete structural members, new materials have been developed and utilized in the construction industries. But the physical and mechanical behaviors of the material are not well understood. To use the material effectively various aspects of the material must be throughly investigated analytically as well as experimentally. In this investigation we found the physical and mechanical properties of carbon fiber grid and polymer mortar which are directly utilized in the repair and reinforcement design of damaged or deteriorated concrete structures. In addition, we also investigate the strengthening effect of carbon fiber grid on the plain concrete flexural test specimens. It was found that the material can be used to repair and strengthen the concrete structures effectively.

  • 이와 같은 세 기술은 많은 도재용착주조관의 수리에 이용된다고 할 수 있고 이런 기술은 완전한 보철물을 다시 만들지 않고 연장된 도재용착주조관의 수리에 적용할 수 있는 것이다. 금속덮개(over casting)와 핀에서 유지를 얻는 금속 전장판에 의한 수리의 성공은 다시 제작한 도재용착주조관의 그것과 비교할 만하다. 그러나 도재에 합성수지(composite resin)를 결합시켜 수리하는 방법은 합성수지(composite resin)가 도재보다 잘 닳을 뿐만 아니라 색깔의 안정성도 좋지 않으며 도재가 금속판에 용착될 때 창조되는 결합력보다 silance bonding agent를 사용하여 창조되는 결합력 즉 화학적 결합(chemical bond)이 약하기 때문에 좋다고 할 수는 없다. 그러므로 silance bond repair에 관한 연구는 앞으로도 여러분들과 함께 더욱 더 연구할 과제가 아닌가 생각되는 바입니다.

접착 시스템이 수리된 복합 레진의 전단 결합 강도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of different bonding systems on shear bond strength of repaired composite resin)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 서로 다른 접착제들로 수리된 복합 레진의 전단 결합 강도를 비교하고, 접착 시스템이 복합레진의 수리 강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 40개의 복합 레진 시편 (Z-250)을 준비하였으며, 1주일 동안 열순환을 시행한 후, $50\;{\mu}m$ 알루미나 입자로 샌드 블라스팅 하였다. 이 시편들을 네 개의 그룹으로 나누었으며 (n = 10), 다음과 같은 서로 다른 종류의 접착제를 각각 적용하였다; SB 그룹 : Scotchbond multipurpose ; SE 그룹 : Clearfil SE bond ; XP 그룹 : XP bond ; XE 그룹 : Xeno III. 접착 과정을 완료한 후에, 새로운 레진 (Z-250, 3M ESPE)을 몰드에 적용하여, 광조사 하였다. 대조군으로, 접착 과정 없이 10개의 시편을 준비하였다. 7일 동안 열순환을 시행한 후 전단 결합 강도를 측정하였고, 파절 양상을 조사하였으며, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 기존 복합 레진과 수리용 복합 레진 사이의 전단 결합 강도는 접착제 종류에 따른 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 2. 재료의 응집 강도 (대조군)와 수리한 결합 강도 (실험군) 사이에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 3. 파절 양상은 대부분 응집성 파절 또는 혼합 파절을 보였다.

이식편의 측면접합이 복합조직이식의 생존에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Lateral Approximations on the Survival of the Free Composite Flap)

  • Non-vascularized free composite graft is one of the simple and effective reconstructive options, but its clinical use has been limited due to questionable survival rate. Early vascularization is essential for graft survival and is mainly carried out via recipient bed or repaired sites. This study was designed to investigate the effect of the lateral marginal approximations on the survival of the free composite flap using a model of skin-subcutaneous composite graft in rats. Thirty 1.5 ${\times}$ 1.5 $cm^2$ sized square shape composite flaps were elevated freely and reposed in place immediately on the dorsum of five Sprague-Dawley rats, and divided into five groups of six flaps. In all groups, graft bed was isolated with silastic sheet. In the group I, all sides of flap were repaired with blockage of silastic sheet insertion. Three, two, and one sides of flap were treated with same method in the group II, III, and IV respectively. Other sides of flaps were repaired without blockage, so all sides of flap were repaired in the group V. At 14 days later, the survived rate of each flap was evaluated according to the numbers of the repair sites. Histological examination was done for the evaluation of new vessel development quantitatively. Overall survived rates were increased with the number of repaired sites, but the group V only showed increased survival rate up to more than fifty percentile of the flap size with a significant difference statistically. New vessels were also increased in proportion with the number of repaired sites, and the repair site more than two had significant effect on the increased number of new vessels. In conclusion, at least more than three-fourth of flap circumference should be repaired in order to increase flap survival effectively under the condition of bed isolation.
