The long span PSC deck of composite girder bridge should be needed in order to improve the endurance and to simplify the structure of the steel bridge. However, there have been few domestic research activities about long-span PSC decks for the steel bridges with a small number of girders. In this study, a literature survey is performed to develop a new deck system for the steel bridge with a small number of girders. By considering the characteristics of a small number of girders bridge system, a cast-in-place long span PSC deck is proposed for a small number of girders bridges. To examine structural behavior and safety of the proposed PSC deck, the real scale partial models of the deck(12m$\times$3.2m) are tested under the static loading. In the test, the failure mode and behavior of each specimen, and ultimate load carrying capacity of the proposed PSC deck are identified.
Let $k={\mathbb{F}}_q(T)$ and ${\mathbb{A}}={\mathbb{F}}_q[T]$. Fix a prime divisor ${\ell}$ q-1. In this paper, we consider a ${\ell}$-cyclic real function field $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P)$ as a subfield of the imaginary bicyclic function field K = $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P,\;(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-Q})$, which is a composite field of $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]P)$ wit a ${\ell}$-cyclic totally imaginary function field $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-Q})$ of class number one. und give various conditions for the class number of $k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{P})$ to be one by using invariants of the relatively cyclic unramified extensions $K/F_i$ over ${\ell}$-cyclic totally imaginary function field $F_i=k(\sqrt[{\ell}]{-P^iQ})$ for $1{\leq}i{\leq}{\ell}-1$.
A number of different curve numbers are estimated, and three of them are the basin or composite curve numbers (CN-II and CN-III) evaluated from hydrologic soil cover complex, the observed curve numbers computed from rainfal1-runoff observations and the basin median curve numbers as a median of the observed curve numbers. Based on the observed runoff, CM-II underestimates the effective rainfall meanwhile CN-III overestimates. Hence, for the improvement in estimating effective rainfall, a modulating curve number may be defined as a value in between CN-II and CN-III. Basin median curve numbers produces the closest result to the observed runoff and therefore it can be adopted as a representative curve number for gaged basin.

This study examines the effects and influences of fumigation on the antimicrobial treatment of excavated dresses in two different museum settings using chemical composite of Methyl Bromide and Ethylene Oxide. The microbial test indicated that the prewashed samples contained Micrococcus, Bacillus, Staphylococcus, and some unidentified fungi and that the total number of microbes decreased after washing. While it was observed that most germs were removed immediately after fumigation, Bacillus was still found and its number even increased. After 5 months, the number of microbes found in Museum A was smaller than Museum B, which shows that Museum A equipped with better environment control facility was superior to Museum. B in terms of exhibition and preservation of dresses against organic damages. In addition, the result indicates that fumigation is an effective measure against the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, considering that the number of microorganisms decreased after fumigation. The color of test sample showed immediate change after fumigation but color difference became stabilized and decreased with the passage of time. The test samples from both museums showed similar patterns.
Plasma Transferred arc(PTA) hard facing process has been developed to obtain an overlay weld metal having excellent wear resistance. The effect of Ti, TiSi$_{2}$ and TiC powders addition on the surface of Aluminum alloy 5083 has been investigated with PTA process. This paper describes the result of test the performance of the overlay weld metal. The result can be summarized as follows 1. Intermetallic compound is formed on surface of base metal in Ti or TiSi$_{2}$ powder but the reaction with surface of base metal is little seen in TiC powder. 2. In formation of composite layer on aluminum alloy surface by plasma transferred arc welding process, high melting ceramics like TiC powder is excellent. 3. The multipass welding process is available for formation of high density of powder. But the more number of pass, the less effect of powder, it is considered, and limits of number of pass. 4. By increasing area fraction of TiC powder on Al alloy surface, in especially TiC powder the hardness increase more than 40% area fraction and 88% shows about Hv 700.
This research examined the technical feasibility of composite that had two layers of fiberglass reinforcement to enhance the load carrying capacity of lumber. Specimens were prepared from standard lumber made of thinning crop trees such as Larix kaempferi, Pinus koraiensis, and P. rigida. Results indicated that bending properties, hardness, and wood screw withdrawal load of low density lumber from the P. koraiensis increased as the number of layers of fiberglass reinforcement increased. Composite produced by VARTM method showed the MOE increased in all specimens, while the MOR differed on the location, whether the 2-layers of FRP is put on tensile zone or compressive zone. The MOR of high density lumber from Larix kaempferi and P. rigida decreased when they placed into tensile zone, but low density lumber from P. koraiensis increased in same location. The bending toughness only increased high density lumber of Larix kaempferi as the number of layers of fiberglass reinforcement increased. The technique developed by this study may increase an opportunity to use small diameter log with low density for commercial purposes.

Multi-Walled Carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) coupled with Silicone Rubber (SR) can represent applicable strain sensors with accessible materials, which result in good stretchability and great sensitivity. Employing these materials and given the fact that the combination of these two has been addressed in few studies, this study is trying to represent a low-cost, durable and stretchable strain sensor that can perform excellently in a high number of repeated cycles. Great stability was observed during the cyclic test after 2000 cycles. Ultrahigh sensitivity (GF>1227) along with good extensibility (ε>120%) was observed while testing the sensor at different strain rates and the various number of cycles. Further investigation is dedicated to sensor performance in the detection of human body movements. Not only the sensor performance in detecting the small strains like the vibrations on the throat was tested, but also the larger strains as observed in extension/bending of the muscle joints like knee were monitored and recorded. Bearing in mind the applicability and low-cost features, this sensor may become promising in skin-mountable devices to detect the human body motions.
Carbon fiber (CF) reinforced polypropylene (PP) compositeis was increased to amount consumed. In this study, recycle of composites by recycle times. CF was containing 20%. Mechanical and interfacial propertis of CF/PP was evaluation for number of recycle time. Mechanical assessment of CF/PP was tension, bending, fatigue tension test and izod test method. Interfacial assessment of CF/PP was wettability test and FE-SEM of fracture surface method. Fiber and matrix was changed to recycle time. The more recycle of CF/PP, the more interfacial bonding was decreased. Because fiber and matrix was damaged to thermal damage. And then reinforced CF was shorter than original shape.

Ultimate goals in vehicle design can be summarized as environment-friendliness and safety. Along with these requirements, the importance of natural environment conservation has been focused lately. Therefore, reduced emission from vehicle and improved efficiency has become the top priority projects throughout the world. CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) of the advanced composite materials as structure materials for vehicles, has a widely application in lightweight structural materials of air planes, ships and automobiles because of high strength and stiffness. This study is to investigate the energy absorption characteristics of CFRP hat-shaped section members under the axial impact collapse test. The CFRP hat-shaped section members which manufactured from unidirectional prepreg sheets were made of 8plies. The axial impact collapse tests were carried out for each section members. The collapse mode and energy absorption characteristics were analyzed for CFRP hat-shaped section member according to the interface numbers(2, 3, 4, 6 and 7).

Laser forming is an advanced process in sheet metal forming in which thermal stress originated from the laser heat source is used to shape the metal sheet. However, substantial waiting time is normally necessary for the workpiece to cool down between consecutive scans so that a steep temperature gradient can be reestablished in the next scan. In order to solve this drawback, laser bending characteristics are experimentally implemented in underwater condition. Laser forming effects under various conditions, including different laser power, scanning velocity, beam diameter, number of passes and material, are investigated. The results show that the underwater laser forming facilitates deliberate forming. The bending angle per respective laser scan is decreased with increasing the number of passes and scanning velocity.
