The modem multimedia applications which are video Processor, video conference or video phone and so forth require real time processing. Because of a large amount of image data, those require high compression performance. In this paper, the proposed image processing encoder was designed by using wavelet transform encoding. The proposed filter block can process image data on tile high speed because of composing individual function blocks by parallel and compute both highpass and lowpass coefficient in the same clock cycle. When image data is decomposed into multiresolution, the proposed scheme needs external memory and controller to save intermediate results and it can operate within 33㎒.

Generating a project network of a specific construction project is very time consuming and difficult task in the field. To effectiviely automate and support the planning process, we design a case-based project planning expert system inspired by the fact a human expert project planner uses previous cases for planning a new project. A construction project case consist of its specific characteristics and the corresponding project network (i.e. project plan). Using frame based representation. we represent the project features affecting the progress network and the entities composing the project plan such as the buildings, construction methods, WBS (work breakdown structure), activities, and resources. The project planning process runs through most similar case retrieval, case adaptation, and user requirement satisfaction. We represent the construction domain knowledge for each procedure using constraints and rules. We develop the methodology for constraint-based case adaption. Case adaptation process mainly consist of activity generation/deletion and predecence constraint satisfaction, for which we develop the dynamic constraint generation method and connect user-level requirement representation the system-level network modification knowledge. The methodology is being applied to the prototype for apartment construction project planning.

XPDL(XML Process Definition Language)은 프로세스 정의 교환을 위하여 WfMC에서 제안한 XML 기반 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 워크플로우 프로세스의 정의와 교환을 위하여 XPDL 문서의 구조(Schema)를 UML 다이어그램으로 모델링하여 기업들 간의 상호연동과 협업을 위한 업무흐름 파악을 용이하게 하는 모델을 제안한다. 이를 위해 XPDL 문서를 UML의 클래스 다이어그램과 액티비티 다이어그램으로 변환하는 사상 규칙을 정의하여, XPDL 프로세스 메타모델(Meta-Model)를 구성하는 각 엘리먼트는 클래스 다이어그램으로 모델링하고, 프로세스 액티비티(Process Activity)는 액티비티 다이어그램으로 모델링하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 기법을 "신용 카드 상태 체크 시스템"의 워크플로우에 대한 XPDL 문서을 적용하여 제안된 기법의 유효성을 검증한다.

This review article provides the trend of current nursing curriculum of todays in Korea and its perspectives. This article reviewed 5 aspects of the current nursing curriculum for the undergraduate program, those are the (1)educational philosophy and believes (2)the nursing concepts revealed in the current nursing curriculum (3)the educational goals and objectives (4)the framework of nursing curriculum (5)the syllabus and credit hours. The common nursing concepts in the current nursing curriculum are Nursing, Human being, Environment/society, Health, Nursing science. The examplary vertical concepts composing of the current nursing curriculum are nursing process, life styles and the horizontal concepts are client, health promotion /recovery /maintenance, leadership, and research. The common subjects composing of the nursing syllabus are the introductory subjects(nursing history, nursing professionalism, foundamental nursing), and the supportive subjects (communication, human relationship, human growth and development, health education, etc) and nursing research, the intrductory basic sciences (anatomy, physiology etc.), and the major nursing subjects (adult nursing, child nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatric nursng, community nursing, nursing administration.) In order to have more advanced nursing education, the suggestions were provided as follows : (1) It is necessary to have revision and evaluation of the process and the structure of the current nursing curriculum periodically. (2) The concept of health promotion for all human being should be integrated into the nursing curriculum. (3) The nursing education program should be unified into baccalauliate level to get one type of nurse-registration system. (4) The nursing courses will need to provide the necessary contemporary Informations to allow the nurses to fuction efficiently in this rapidly changing era. (5) The use of new technology in nursing education is necessary to expand nursing education more.

본 연구는 제 2 언어 학습자들의 읽기-쓰기 통합에 대한 인식 정도를 대학 영작문반 학습문맥에서 탐구하였다. 동일한 연구 참여자들을 반복적으로 측정하는 패널설문(N=60)을 이용하여, 학습자들의 읽기-쓰기에 대한 통합인식이 일련의 교실수업 활동을 통하여 어떻게 재형성되는 지를 조사하였다. 대학생들의 통합인식 정도를 나타내는 인식점수는 5점-척도 설문을 이용하여 측정하였으며, 그룹간 시간별 평균차는 "반복측정-이요인 ANOVA"를 수행하여 평가하였다. 분석 결과, 트리트먼트 효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 못한 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 연구기간 동안 학생들의 통합인식에 대한 변화가 미미했음을 의미한다. 그러나 인식변화의 유형은 인식그룹에 따라 크게 다른 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 통합학습에 대한 인식이 쓰기 과정 중 발생하는 학생들의 학습행태를 이해하는 데 큰 도움을 줄뿐만 아니라, 읽기-쓰기 통합수업에서 보다 통합 지향적인 교수법을 개발하는데도 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The assemblability is determined by the structure of product and the relationship between composing parts and machining parts. In this paper, the bolt was divided into bolt-head, -shaft, -thread and -end. For higher assemblability in bolting process, it was analyzed the geometric and technological characteristics of bolts were analysed regarding pre- and in-assembly process. And this paper presents the knowledge-based expert system to assist for designer in the processor of designing bolt for easier assembly. The developed expert system for supporting bolt design assemblability which is named as BDFA SYSTEM consists of two system such as "BOLT DESIGN SYSTEM" which provide feasible assembly bolt design to designer and "EVALUATION SYSTEM" which provide assembly evaluation to alternative of bolt design.

Laser thin film process with a Q-switch pulsed YAG laser was performed for micro machining. In this research, we performed basic Cr thin film on glass substrates removal machining experiments. Form experiments, it happens not only evaporration of thin film but also spatter and cohesion of melting substance in working region, when machining a Cr thin film by Q-switch YAG laser beam irradiation. Critical energy of surface irradiation type by irradiation direction of laser in a face composing thin film on the glass is higher than that of back irradiation type, but the latter is favorable because of spatter appearance. In case of image formation position when laser beam is irradiated, the defocus is permitted to a certain extent within forcus depth. Ifexceeds focus depth, formation of pattern is vanishing step by step.
