  • In this paper, we propose a novel defect detection method using component tree representations of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images. The component tree contains rich information about the topological structure of images such as the stiffness of intensity changes, area, and volume of the lobes. This information can be used effectively in detecting suspicious defect areas. A quasi-linear algorithm is available for constructing the component tree and computing these attributes. In this paper, we modify the original component tree algorithm to be suitable for our defect detection application. First, we exclude pixels that are near the ground level during the initial stage of component tree construction. Next, we detect significant lobes based on multiple attributes and edge information. Our experiments performed with actual SEM wafer images show promising results. For a $1000{\times}1000$ image, the proposed algorithm performed the whole process in 1.36 seconds.

  • This paper is purposed to analyze electric leakage component which can prevent electrical fires on breaker capacity expansion and power failure by operation of ELB(Earth leakage breaker) for stable sizes. In order to analysis for electric leakage component for stable sizes, this paper studied field state investigation which are at stable companies( 10 companies) in cheong-won location to deduce the problems of electric leakage component is analyzed. The field state experiment method is measured with electric leakage component which load part of ELB detected by electric loads(electrical fan, lighting, auto waterer, feeder and halogen lighting) and stable sizes. Results show that electric leakage component suggested in this paper are valuable and usable to electrical fire in leakage current based on environment factor, which will prevent severe damage to human beings and properties and reduce the electrical fires in stable.

  • Model-driven and component-oriented development is increasingly being used in the development of embedded systems. When combined, both paradigms provide several advantages, such as higher reuse rates, and improved system quality. Performing model-driven and component-oriented development should be accompanied by a component model and a method that prescribes how the component model is used. This article provides an overview on the MARMOT method, which consists of an abstract component model and a methodology for the development of embedded systems. The paper describes a feasibility study that demonstrates MARMOT's capability to alleviate system design, verification, implementation, and reuse. Results indicate that model-driven and component-based development following the MARMOT method outperforms Agile development for embedded systems, leads to maintainable systems, and higher than normal reuse rates.

  • This paper introduces a development of component based framework of supply-chain management. The existing legacy system, which is not designed for object-oriented paradigm, is re-modeled using unified modeling language. Components are extracted from the legacy application, and frameworks are also designed in order to increase productivities of software development. Design issues concerning component and framework development are discussed with real situation. Performance and development productivity issue are also discussed with discussing component size and scope. A real case is presented in connection with the discussed issues.

  • A direct vector control for induction machine based on determination of the spatial position of the airgap flux from the third harmonic component of the stator phase voltage is presented in this Paper. The relationship between the airgap fundamental flux component and the third harmonic flux component obtained from the stator third harmonic voltage is presented at the end of this paper.

  • Web-Based Education System changed from one side transmission of information to bi-directional information exchange with user. Accordingly, It had been implemented on 3-tier models with each function separation using database and server side language such as CGI (Common Gateway Interface). But, The CBSD(Component Based Software Development) techniques receives many interests recently, and efforts to apply this are appearing. Thus, In this research implemented component base question solving system. For this, I used EJB(Enterprise Java Beans) that is web server component model, and used Petri-Net for typical specification about message flow between components.

  • Neural network-based signal classification systems are increasingly used in the analysis of large volumes of data obtained in NDE applications. Ultrasonic inspection methods on the other hand are commonly used in the nondestructive evaluation of welds to detect flaws. An important characteristic of ultrasonic inspection is the ability to identify the type of discontinuity that gives rise to a peculiar signal. Standard techniques rely on differences in individual A-scans to classify the signals. This paper proposes an ultrasonic signal classification technique based on the information tying in the neighboring signals. The approach is based on a 2-dimensional Fourier transform and the principal component analysis to generate a reduced dimensional feature vector for classification. Results of applying the technique to data obtained from the inspection of actual steel welds are presented.

  • SECOS(SoonChunHyang E-Commerce System) is the e-commerce system which was developed by e-commerce software research center in soonchunhyang univ. The system was composed of payment system, retrieving system and framework being used to combine these systems. The modules in the system was composed of components which was developed by CBSE(Component Based Software Engineering) method. In this paper. we implement the Role Based Access Control(RBAC) component for access control of SECOS. We use Attribute Certificates(ACs) in order to implement RBAC in the distributed retrieving system, and implement Attribute Authorities(AAs) which can provide ACs. The Proposed system is implemented by EIB component based JAVA.

  • Component-based development methods are regarded as one of the most important tools for us to cope with ever-increasing software complexity and, at the same time, to improve productivity in software development. This paper presents how to generate test-cases for integrated software from those of member components and how to validate composition of components, by the analysis of domain relations of components. This paper shows the applicability of the proposed technique by the real experiment. This study is based on the dataflow systems architecture and process components, and the technique developed here is an application of domain testing technique.

  • In this paper we predict the track of typhoons using a Bayesian principal component regression model based on wind field data. Data is obtained at each time point and we applied the Bayesian principal component regression model to conduct the track prediction based on the time point. Based on regression model, we applied to variable selection prior and two kinds of prior distribution; normal and Laplace distribution. We show prediction results based on Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) estimator and Median Probability Model (MPM) estimator. We analysis 8 typhoons in 2006 using data obtained from previous 6 years (2000-2005). We compare our prediction results with a moving-nest typhoon model (MTM) proposed by the Korea Meteorological Administration. We posit that is possible to predict the track of a typhoon accurately using only a statistical model and without a dynamical model.
