잠재적 위험요인의 탐색에 관한 단일표본분석과 복합표본분석의 비교 (Comparative Analysis of Unweighted Sample Design and Complex Sample Design Related to the Exploration of Potential Risk Factors of Dysphonia)

  • 본 연구는 잠재적 위험요인을 탐색하는 방법으로 단순임의추출분석(unweighted sample design), 빈도 가중치를 적용한 단일표본분석(frequency weighted sample design), 가중치를 층화하여 적용한 복합표본분석(complex sample design)을 비교하고, 도출된 결과에 통계적인 차이가 있는지를 파악하고자 수행되었다. 자료원은 2009 국민건강영양조사의 이비인후과 검진 자료를 이용하였다. 분석 방법은 피어슨의 교차검정(Pearson chi-square test)과 라오-스콧교차검정(Rao-scott chi-square test)을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 빈도 가중치만을 적용한 단일표본분석의 경우에는 모든 변수가 유의한 위험요인으로 과대 예측 되었고, 가중치를 적용하지 않은 단순임의추출 분석과 복합표본분석은 유의수준 및 결과에 차이가 있었다. 국가통계자료를 이용할 때, 연구의 결과가 전체 인구집단을 대표할 수 있도록 의미를 부여하기 위해서는 층화변수와 집락변수를 사용하여 가중치를 적용하는 복합표본분석이 필요하다. 나아가, 빈도 가중치만을 적용하는 경우에는 연구 결과에 대한 과잉해석의 가능성이 높기 때문에 각별한 주의가 요구된다.

  • Estimators for domains and approximate estimators of their variance are derived using post-stratified complex sample. Furthermore we propose an adjusted variance estimator of a domain mean in case of considering the post-stratified complex sample as simple random sample. A simulation study based on the data of Farm Household Economy Survey is presented to compare variance estimators numerically. From the study we showed that our adjusted variance estimator compensate for the under-estimation problem considerably.

Thiocyanato ammine계 chromium complex salts에 있어 thiocyanato기의 수가 Rf치에 미치는 영향 (The effect on the Rf value by the number of thiocyanate radical in various thiocyanate ammine chromium complex salts)

  • Various thiocyanatoammine chromium complex salts are prepared by the known methods and the Rf. value of these complex salts are determined by four developers. These four developers were used in the paper chromatographical work of cobalt complex salts by Yamamoto in 1954. It was also found that the developer A (Ch$_{3}$OH, acetone, NH$_{4}$OH) gave best results of these four developers and the decending development gave better results than ascending development in this experiment. In the case of decending development using developer A, it is found that the Rf. value is increased with the number of thiocyanate radical. The reason of this curious results can be explained that the thiocyanate radical in the complex ion is more active for the organic solvent than ammine radical. Shifting of electrons to the central metal and the charge of the complex ion can also effect ot the Rf. value but much questions are remained for the explanation of the above curious phenomenon. Separation of mixed sample is also studied for various mixture of the above complex salts. In the case of the mixture of hexammine and diammine complex salt, the clear separation is possible but in almost all other mixed sample, the results are not clear. Therefore it can be said that the results of this work can be used in the qualitative analysis of the individual complex salts, except the mixed sample of hexammine and diammine complex salts.

국민건강영양조사 자료의 복합표본설계효과와 통계적 추론 (Complex sample design effects and inference for Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data)

  • Nutritional researchers world-wide are using large-scale sample survey methods to study nutritional health epidemiology and services utilization in general, non-clinical populations. This article provides a review of important statistical methods and software that apply to descriptive and multivariate analysis of data collected in sample surveys, such as national health and nutrition examination survey. A comparative data analysis of the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) was used to illustrate analytical procedures and design effects for survey estimates of population statistics, model parameters, and test statistics. This article focused on the following points, method of approach to analyze of the sample survey data, right software tools available to perform these analyses, and correct survey analysis methods important to interpretation of survey data. It addresses the question of approaches to analysis of complex sample survey data. The latest developments in software tools for analysis of complex sample survey data are covered, and empirical examples are presented that illustrate the impact of survey sample design effects on the parameter estimates, test statistics, and significance probabilities (p values) for univariate and multivariate analyses.

주기적(週期的) 반복하중(反復荷重)을 받는 벼의 복소탄성율(複素彈性率) (Complex Modulus of Rough Rice Kernel under Cyclic Loading)

  • When grains is subjected to oscillating load, the dynamic viscoelastic behavior of the material will be describe the complex modulus of the material. The complex modulus and therefore the storage modulus, the loss modulus, and the phase angle for the sample should be obtainable with a given static viscoelastic property of the material under static load. The complex relaxation moduli of the rough rice kernel were computed from the Burger's model describing creep behavior of the material which were obtained in the previous study. Also, the effects of cyclic load and moisture content of grain on the dynamic viscoelastic behavior of the samples were analized. The storage modulus of the rough rice kernel slightly increased with the frequency applied but at above the frequency of 0.1 Hz it was nearly constant with the frequency, and the loss modulus of the sample very rapidly decreased with increase in the frequency on those frequency ranges. It was shown that the storage modulus and the loss modulus of the sample increased with decrease in grain moisture content. Effect of grain moisture content on the storage modulus of the sample was highly significant than effect of the frequency applied, but effect of the frequency on the loss modulus of the sample was more significant than effect of grain moisture content.

Simulations of Two-Dimensional Electronic Correlation Spectra

  • Two-dimensional (2D) correlation method, which generates the synchronous and the asynchronous 2D spectrum by complex cross correlation of the Fourier transformed spectra, is an analysis method for the changes of the sample spectrum induced by vari ous perturbations. In the present work, the 2D electronic correlation spectra have been simulated for the cases where the sample spectrum composed of two gaussian bands changes linearly. When only the band amplitudes of the sample spectrum change, the synchronous spectrum shows strong peaks at the band centers of the sample spectrum, but the asynchronous spectrum does not make peaks. When the sample spectrum shifts without changing intensity and width, the synchronous spectrum shows peaks around the initial and final positions of the band maximum and the asynchronous spectrum shows long peaks spanning the shifting range. The band width change produces the complex 2D correlation spectra. When the sample spectrum shifts with band broadening, the width change by 50% of full width at half maximum (FWHM) does not give so large an effect on the correlation spectrum as the spectral shift by one half of FWHM of the sample spectrum.

  • To confirm the room-temperature superconductivity at ambient pressure as claimed in recent arXiv preprints by Lee et al., we followed the original authors' systematic solid-state synthesis recipe to reproduce Cu-doped Pb-apatite, known as LK-99. Using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy, we identified inclusion of various impurities alongside the apatite phase in our sample. While the sample exhibited an overall semiconducting behavior in electrical transport, an intriguing resistivity anomaly at 380 K was observed, possibly originating from a structural phase transition of the Cu2-δS impurity. Based on the transport and magnetization measurements, we conclude that the sample is a non-magnetic semiconductor, with absence of superconductivity.

  • In this paper, we present an equalization scheme for 8-VSB signals for the ATSC DTV system. We propose a complex feedback filter and complex feedback sample generator for DFE to equalize 8-VSB signals in order to efficiently remove multipath distortions causing leakages from the qudrature component. We show that the proposed structure outperforms the conventional DFE used for the digital VSB which uses a real-valued feedback filter with real-valued decisions.

한방의료이용 선택 요인에 관한 연구 - 2017 한방의료이용실태조사를 중심으로 (Influencing factors of using Korean Medicine services - focusing on the 2017 Korean Medicine Utilization Survey)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate influencing factors of using Korean medicine services (KMS) using the 2017 Korean Medicine Utilization Survey (KMUS). Methods: Demographic statistics of the survey were summarized and influencing factors of the KMS experience and the intention to visit KMS were analyzed using logistic regression model with complex sample design. Influencing factors were specified based on Andersen's behavioral model of health care utilization and factors associated with individual recognitions of KMS. Additionally, using the ordinary logistic regression model without complex sample design, the survey data were analyzed to compare the results. Results: In the logistic regression analysis, sex, age, health condition, presence of chronic disease, a degree of knowledge about Korean Medicine, and a view about herbal medicine safety were statistically significant both in the KMS experience, and the intention to visit KMS. Marital status was statistically significant in the KMS experience, while family income, a view about the cost of KMS were statistically significant in the intention to visit KMS. Conclusion: Individual recognitions of KMS and enabling components should be considered when establishing KMS policies. In addition, future studies analyzing KMUS need to take into account the complex sample design features of the survey to avoid statistically misleading results.

복합표본자료에서 동질성검정을 위한 피어슨 검정통계량의 효과 (Effect of complex sample design on Pearson test statistic for homogeneity)

  • 복합표본설계에 기초한 범주형 조사자료는 통상적인 피어슨 카이제곱검정에 필요한 조건을 만족하지 못한다. 그러나 많은 조사연구에서 복잡한 표본설계 방법을 적용하고 있지만, 종래의 피어슨 검정결과를 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 복합표본설계에 의한 범주형자료의 동질성검정에 대한 실증분석을 통해, 종래의 피어슨 검정과 불편검정인 왈드검정, 표본설계를 반영한 비율추정치를 사용하는 피어슨 검정을 비교하였다. 분석결과, 종래의 피어슨검정은 표본설계를 반영하는 검정들에 비해 통계량 값이 매우 크고, 유의확률이 심각하게 작게 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 복합표본설계를 반영하되 추정량의 분산을 아는 경우와 모르는 경우의 비교에서는 범주수, 설계효과행렬의 고유치들의 평균과 표준편차에 영향을 받는 것을 확인하였다.
