NOAA-AVHRR 인공위성 영상을 이용한 월 실제증발산량 산정 (Estimation of Monthly Actual Evapotranspiration Using NOAA-AVHRR Satellite Images)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate monthly evapotranspiration (ET) using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) obtained from NOAA-AVHRR data sets. Actual evapotranspiration was evaluated by the complementary relationship, and monthly NDVI was obtained by maximum value composite method from daily NDVI images in the Korean peninsula for the year 2001 The monthly actual ETs for each land cover were compared with the monthly NDVIs to determine relationships between actual ET and NDVI for each land cover category, There was a high correlation between monthly NDVI and monthly mean actual ET. This study presents an alternative approach for land surface evapotranspiration based on remote sensing techniques.

  • 잠재증발량에 대한 많은 경험식들이 제시되어 있지만 각각의 방식에 대한 국내의 적용성에 대하여 구체적으로 비교검토된 사례는 매우 제한적이다. 널리사용되고 있는 Hargreaves식은 비교적 단순한 형태를 지니고 있으나 대기수분량을 계산에 반영치 못하는 한계를 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 남한 내 다목적 댐 유역의 1973-2014년 기상자료를 바탕으로 Penman-Monteith (P-M) 식과 Hargreaves식을 통해 계산한 잠재증발산량($ET_{PM}$, $ET_{Harg}$)의 비교를 통해, Bouchet (1963)의 보완 관계 관점에서 $ET_{Harg}$$ET_{PM}$에 비해 과다 산정되는 경향이 있음을 확인하였다. 이에, 1973-2004년에 대한 각 댐 유역의 기상관측소 단위별로 산정된 $ET_{PM}$을 상대적인 정해로 간주하여 Hargreaves식의 매개변수를 추정하였다. 추정된 매개변수는 동일 관측소의 2005-2014년 기상자료와 함께 Hargreaves식에 적용 후, 다목적 댐 유역별 $ET_{PM}$$ET_{Harg}$을 산정하여 검정을 수행하였다. 수행 결과, Hargreaves 식의 매개변수 조정 전 $ET_{PM}$과의 Nash-Sutcliffe 일치계수는 0.47-0.79 (1973-2004), 0.28-0.76 (2005-2014)이었고, RMS 오차는 17.79-25.85 (1973-2004), 18.24-27.40 (2005년-2014년)이었으나, 매개변수 조정 후 Nash-Sutcliffe 일치계수는 0.96-0.98 (1973-2004), 0.95-0.98 (2005-2014)로, RMS 오차는 5.78-7.11 (1973-2004), 4.97-6.95 (2005-2014)로 조정 전 보다 향상된 결과를 보였다.

다목적댐유역에서의 증발산 보완관계가설 검증 (Validation of Complementary Relationship Hypothesis for Evapotranspiration in Multipurpose Dam Basins)

  • 잠재증발산($ET_P$)과 실제증발산($ET_A$) 사이의 보완관계 가설을 국내 다목적댐 유역에 적용하여, 각 유역의 기상 수문 관측자료를 기반으로 잠재 및 실제 증발산사이의 보완관계 성립을 검증하고자 하였다. 연단위 실제증발량($ET_A$)은 총강수량과 총유출량의 차이로서 간접추정하였으며, 가용수분량은 연강수량으로 대체하여 사용하였다. 이때, 팬증발량 보정에 사용된 팬계수(kp)는 홍수기 및 비홍수기로 구분하여 $ET_{pan}$과 FAO Penman-Monteith 식으로 계산된 증발량($ET_{PM}$)의 비를 통해 산정하였다. 각 다목적댐 유역에서 관측자료 기반의 독립적으로 계산된 $ET_P$$ET_A$를 통해 보완관계를 산정한 결과, 대부분의 유역에서 가용수분량이 증가할수록 $ET_P$는 감소함과 동시에 $ET_A$는 증가하는 일반적인 보완관계의 패턴을 잘 보였고, 강수량의 증가에 따라 평형증발산량($ET_W$)의 수렴을 확인할 수 있었다. 하지만, 주암댐의 경우 $ET_A$가 다른 댐 유역에 비해 크게 산정되어 가용수분량이 큰 구간에서 $ET_P$를 초과하는 경우도 발생하였다. 이는 주암댐 유역의 강수량의 과다산정 혹은 유입량의 과소산정의 가능성을 보여주는 결과로 해석될 수 있다. 증발산 보완관계를 수문학적 물수지검증을 위한 기준으로 활용한다면 홍수기 다목적댐 유입량 산정의 불확실성을 제어하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

Innovation Performance of Social Enterprises: An Empirical Study in India

  • Social enterprises pursue innovation to create socio-economic impact for the marginalized communities. The founders of social enterprises drive goal-oriented innovation, whereas, interactions with ecosystem is crucial to create and diffuse innovation. However, studies are scant on creation as well as diffusion of innovation emerging from social enterprises. This paper attempts to understand innovation emerging from social enterprises through an exploration of innovation focus, interactions with ecosystem, and measurement of innovation performance. A cross-sectional study is performed to understand the relationship between founders' orientation and innovation performance, and the mediating role of innovation focus and ecosystem interactions. A cluster sampling across four states in India - Karnataka, Telangana, Maharastra and Tamil Nadu - resulted in participation from 207 social enterprises. The results of partial least squared structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) demonstrate the positive complementary mediating role of innovation focus in the relationship between founders' orientation and innovation performance. Moreover, this paper illustrates that founders' persistent focus on innovation creates positive results for social enterprises as well as beneficiaries.

The Digital Loyalty Equation in Distribution Science: A Multi-method Exploration of E-commerce Success Factors

  • Purpose: This study explores the complex interplay between service quality, customer engagement, and loyalty in the e-commerce sector, examining the moderating effect of technological adoption on these crucial relationships. Research design, data and methodology: Employing a robust multi-method approach, the research analyzes data from 481 e-commerce users, leveraging the complementary strengths of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA). Acomprehensive multi-group analysisis conducted to uncover differences between experienced and non-experienced users. Results: PLS-SEM reveals that service quality significantly influences customer engagement, which in turn drives loyalty. Technological adoption positively moderates the service quality-engagement relationship. The multi-group analysis uncovers notable differences between user segments. fsQCA identifies two distinct configurational paths consistently leading to high customer loyalty: high customer engagement and high service quality. Conclusions: This study's innovative integration of PLS-SEM and fsQCA contributes to a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics driving e-commerce success. Findings provide actionable insights for e-commerce businesses to enhance service quality, foster engagement, and cultivate loyalty. This research lays the groundwork for further exploration of these critical relationships in different contexts, offering a nuanced perspective on the complex interplay of factors shaping customer behavior in the digital marketplace.

The Role of Empathy in Crowdfunding Channel Platform

  • Purpose: Crowdfunding can be a complementary channel in which start-ups or small companies can obtain financial help and take advantage of exploiting the online potential. To activate crowdfunding, it is necessary to consider a consumer's empathic responses. This article examines the role of empathy in the crowdfunding channel platform. We adopted the identification-commitment model to prove the role of empathy. Research design, data, and methodology: Participants were asked to read the charitable crowdfunding campaign. More than 300 young adults completed an online questionnaire and we analyzed it with structural equation modeling (SEM). To find out the role of empathy, we postulate several models which use empathy variable for different purposes. Results: We conclude that empathy has the role of moderator in the identification-commitment model. This means the high empathic response helped the relationship between identification and commitment. However, low empathic response can negatively influence the process of identification to commitment. Conclusions: This study found that virtual empathy is positively related to crowdfunding participation if we can elevate empathy in the crowdfunding channel platform. The findings also show that we need to consider empathic response when we want to raise funds for specific projects such as protecting the natural environment.

연구개발투자에 따른 비용저감 효과 분석: ICT산업을 중심으로 (An Analyzing the Cost-Saving Effect of R&D Investment: Focusing on the ICT Industry)

  • 본 연구는 ICT산업의 연구개발투자에 따른 비용저감 효과를 계측하는데 그 목적이 있다. 일반적으로 연구개발투자는 제품혁신과 공정혁신을 유발하고, 또 이들은 각각 매출증대와 비용저감 효과를 견인하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 기 수행된 실증연구들을 살펴보면, 그 대부분이 연구개발투자의 매출증대 기여부분에 초점을 두고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 최근 주목받고 있는 ICT산업을 중심으로 연구개발투자의 비용저감 효과를 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 초월대수 비용함수와 비용점유율 방정식을 설정하였으며, SUR방법을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 그 분석결과, 연구개발투자에 따른 총비용의 감소효과는 유의한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 추가적으로 연구개발투자와 각 생산요소들 간의 관계를 살펴보았는데, 연구개발투자와 중간투입은 상호 대체관계, 노동 및 자본과는 보완관계인 것으로 나타났다.

기업의 사회적 책임 속성이 기업 신뢰와 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Trust and Purchase Intention)

  • As economic profits and social influences of firms grow with economic development and their organizational expansion, consumers increasingly require firms to have their social responsibility. Because social responsibility strongly influences corporate reliability, consumers' intention to purchase, customer loyalty to the products and the recognition of an ethical firm have gained attention as a concept of strategical importance. The prosperity of society should be proceeded for the sustainable development of a firm and the necessity of social responsibility should be emphasized to achieve virtuous circle structure that promotes growth. Additionally, the social responsibility should be proceeded to form trust on a firm. It is very important to change the recognition of consumers to purchase products and increase the profit of a company. This study aims to analyze how social responsibility properties of firms (economic, ethical, discretionary, and legal aspects as low-level factors of social responsibility which Carroll (1979) defined) affect corporate reliability and purchase intention. The analysis found that consumers trust in firms are positively influenced by ethical responsibility (0.391), economic responsibility (0.293), legal responsibility (0.251), and discretionary responsibility (0.248). The relationship between sub-factor of social responsibility and purchase intention is not significantly influenced by other explanatory variables. Corporate trust exerts a direct influence on purchase Intention (0.456). The social responsibility of a firm didn't influence a direct purchase intention. It was found that it brought positive effect on the purchase intention in the course of forming trust. This study suggests that firms should make efforts to understand the relationship between corporate trust and purchase intention along with the characteristics of social responsibility that consumers recognize and improve management strategies for mutual complementary interests.

Plasma renin activity(PRA) and Active renin concentration(ARC)비교를 통한 ARC 유용성 실험 (ARC availability experiment by comparing plasma renin activity (PRA) and active renin concentration (ARC))

  • Purpose Renin is a proteolytic enzyme synthesized and secreted from epidermal(juxtaglomerular) cells in kidney. Renin acts on the renin substrate angiotensinogen to produce angiotensin I, and then angiotensin II is produced by the action of angiotensin converting enzyme. This causes the adrenal glands to boost blood pressure (vasoconstriction) and promote aldosterone secretion. While Plasma renin activity (PRA) is to test angiotensin I, the active renin concentration (ARC) is a renin test directly. They have different test methods and their own substrates. However, these two methods are sometimes interpreted as the same as a result. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of the ARC test by comparing the results between PRA and ARC. Materials and Methods For the diversity of the experiment, 26 samples were requested to test with PRA(TFB company) and ARC(Cisbio company) to other institution. We compared and analyzed PRA(Immunotech company) and ARC(Cisbio company) tests using 28 samples from September $15^{th}$ to October $13^{th}$ in 2017. The statistical analysis method for PRA/ARC evaluated the usefulness using Microsoft Excel program by verifying a correlation analysis of Aldosterone/PRA ratio and a correlation analysis of Aldosterone/ARC ratio and conducting T-test. Results The regression equation of the PRA(Immunotech company)/ARC(Cisbio company), which was tested in the department, was y = 0.0619x + 0.4615 and the correlation coefficient was 0.73. The regression equation of the PRA(TFB company)/ARC(Cisbio company), which was tested in the other institution, was y = 0.0888x + 0.3316 and the correlation coefficient was 0.91. In addition, The regression equation of Aldosterone / PRA ratio and Aldosterone / ARC ratio was y = 0.875x - 11.688 and the correlation coefficient was 0.87. Plus T - test showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion Both tests showed a strong positive correlation, but this only represents the strength and direction of the relationship between the two tests. Furthermore, the actual results showed somewhat differences. It is presumed that the measured value was influenced by the endogenous renin group mass in the plasma, the condition of the enzyme reaction and the kind of the inhibitor. When the active renin concentration (ARC) test is performed, it is useful to distinguish between the two tests as they are complementary.

한국(韓國)의 아시아신흥공업국(新興工業國) 및 일본(日本)과의 대미수출경쟁(對美輸出競爭) : 환율효과(換率效果)를 중심(中心)으로 (Structure of Export Competition between Asian NIEs and Japan in the U.S. Import Market and Exchange Rate Effects)

  • 본고(本稿)는 AIDS(Almost Ideal Demand System) 수요모형(需要模型)을 이용하여 한국(韓國) 등 아시아 신흥공업국(新興工業國)과 일본(日本)을 포함하는 아시아 5국(國)으로부터의 미국(美國)의 수입수요(輸入需要)를 분석함으로써 이들간의 대미수출경쟁관계(對美輸出競爭關係)를 분석하고 있는데, 특히 환율변동(換率變動)이 이들 5개국(個國)의 대미수출(對美輸出)에 미치는 효과를 중점적으로 분석하고 있다. 분석결과에 의하면, 아시아신흥공업 4국(國)은 일본(日本)과는 경쟁적인 반면 서로간에는, 홍콩과 싱가포르간의 경쟁적인 관계를 제외하면, 보완적인 관계를 유지하고 있다. 그리고 이들 아시아 5국(國)은 모두가 서구선진국그룹에 대해서는 경쟁적인 반면 미국(美國)의 국내재(國內財)와는 보완적인 관계를 보이는 것으로 관찰되었다. 한편 이러한 결과에 따라 환율효과(換率效果)를 분석해 보면, 한국(韓國)의 경우 엔화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율(換率)이 1% 인상되면 대미수출물량(對美輸出物量)을 일정 수준에 유지하고자 할 경우는 원화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율(換率)도 약 1% 정도는 인상되어야 하지만, 대미수출점유율(對美輸出占有率)을 일정 수준에 유지하려면 원화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율(換率)은 최악의 경우 약 3%까지도 인상되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 한국(韓國)은 대미수출시장점유율(對美輸出市場占有率)이나 수출물량(輸出物量)의 유지를 위해서, 원화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율(換率)이 여타 NICS통화환율(通貨換率)의 움직임보다도 오히려 엔화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율(換率)의 움직임을 보다 잘 반영할 수 있도록 함으로써 엔화(貨)의 대미(對美)달러환율인상(換率引上)에 따른 수출저상효과(輸出沮喪效果)를 상쇄시켜 나가야 할 것이라는 시사를 얻게 되었다.
