광양항의 경쟁력 평가요인과 강화전략 (Evaluation Factor and Enhancement of Gwangyang International Port's Competitiveness)

  • 연구의 목적은 광양항을 사례로 항만 경쟁력에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 평가하고, 세부 평가요소의 우선순위에 따른 광양항의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 중요한 항만정책방향을 규명하는 데 있다. 논문에서는 의사결정기법인 AHP기법을 이용하여 항만입지, 항만운영관리, 항만비용, 항만시설, 배후지여건 등 5가지 주요 평가요인과 14가지 세부평가 요소에 대한 중요도를 파악하였다. 광양항의 항만경쟁력 평가를 위한 주요 평가요인의 중요도는 항만입지, 항만시설, 항만비용, 항만운영관리, 배후지여건 순으로 계산되었다. 세부 평가요소별 복합가중치를 이용한 종합중요도는 배후지역과 연결성, 국제항만과 접근성, 인센티브제도, 터미널의 시설용량. 항만운영인력의 전문성 숙련도, 등의 순서로 확인되었다. 광양항은 배후지와 연결성 및 국제항만과의 접근성을 강화하여 항만의 중심성과 중계성을 제고시겨 항만의 경쟁력을 강화해야 한다. 항만물동량을 창출하기 위해서 다양한 인센티브 제공과 항만비용을 절감시켜 국제거점항만으로서의 경쟁력을 증진해야 한다. 초대형 컨테이너선이 원활하게 하역작업을 수행하도록 하역시스템의 첨단화 및 효율화방안이 강구되며, 항만운영인력의 전문성과 작업도 향상을 위하여 다양한 방안들을 모색해야 한다. 연구의 결과는 관련 학계, 항만당국 및 항만공사 등에 광양항 발전전략에 대한 학술적이며 정책적인 시사점과 지식을 제공하고 있다. 대형항만의 경쟁력 평가에 필요한 이론의 형성, 간단한 분석방법의 틀을 제시하는 데도 연구의 의의가 있다.

관광목적지로서의 농촌관광마을의 경쟁력 평가지표 개발 (Indicators of the Destination Competitiveness of Rural Tourism Township in Korea)

  • Competitiveness has been associated in the tourism literature as a crucial factor for the success of tourist destinations. This study is to develop indicators that measure destination competitiveness of rural tourism townships in Korea. It was conducted via a Delphi technique and the analytical hierarchy process method. After four rounds of discussions, the panel members reached consensus on a set of 27 indicators with three dimensions which are attractor (resource, infrastructure, and tourism products), assistance (tourism business assistance and value-added processing assistance), and planning and management (planning for development, capacity for management). This set of destination competitiveness indicators can serve as a starting point for devising a set of indicators at the local level in order to be useful rural tourism sector manager and administrators. The selected indicators are measurable, demand driven and practical to show the real performance in rural destination.

물류기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 연구 -지역 기업을 중심으로- (A Study on Strengthening Competitiveness of Logistics Firms - Local Companies approach -)

  • Logistics companies distinguish between medium-sized business and small business according to the size of enterprises. Of course, conglomerates are called global corporations. In this study, mid-sized companies over a certain size or more and those below are classified and decide the priorities among important factors to secure competitiveness in logistics companies are determined through AHP technique. Mid-sized companies are companies that can provide more than two logistics services. For example, they provide warehousing and transportation services in the same time. small companies are companies that can mostly provide one functional service. Warehousing, transportation, manpower, and information are listed as factors in this study. As a result of the study, medium-sized companies emphasized on the importance of transportation. When it comes to small companies, warehousing was emphasized as an important factor. Due to the simultaneous and contemporary service of warehousing and transportation in small-sized company, the reliable image of the company will be underestimated in case of delays in transportation. Competitiveness will also be weakened. Global corporations or conglomerates will start to consider relocating warehousing areas to others except for the central storage hub. They won't plan to invest directly, either. Therefore, it will be possible to secure competitiveness by providing the function of warehousing and to signed easily partnership.

강원영동남부권 내륙물류기지 입지경쟁 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Locational Competitiveness Factor of Inland Logistics Complex in Gangwon)

  • 본 연구는 강원영동남부권 내륙물류기지 필요성 및 입지 경쟁력 분석을 위해, 강원권 물동량 추정 및 내륙물류기지 입지 경쟁 요인분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 강원권 산업단지 산출 가능 물동량은 775만 톤이며, 내륙물류기지의 조성지역은 기종점 분석 결과 가장 적합한 지역은 원주시로 나타났다. 내륙물류기지 경쟁 요인을 도출하기 위해서 선행연구를 통해 28개 변수를 도출하였으며, 해당 요인에 대해 탐색적 요인분석을 수행한 결과 16개의 요소가 4개의 요인으로 분류 되었다. AHP 분석결과 요인별 중요도는 '접근성 요인'(0.374)이 가장 높은 수치를 보였으며, '연계성 요인'(0.358), '운영성 요인'(0.166), '정부정책 요인'(0.102)의 순으로 나타났다. 전체 항목에서의 중요도는 '내륙물류기지에서 수요지까지의 수배송'(0.160)이 가장 큰 요인으로 분석되었다.

A Comparative Analysis on the Competitiveness of the Korean, Chinese and Japanese Fashion Industries: The Generalized Double Diamond Model Approach

  • This study compares and analyzes the fashion industry of Korea with that of China and Japan, the two countries geographically and culturally adjacent to Korea, by applying the generalized double diamond model to find useful measures to strengthen the global competitiveness of the Korean fashion industry. The fashion industries of Korea, China and Japan were first compared in terms of the four determinants of the double diamond model: thereafter, the double diamond model of Korea, China and Japan were compared. In this, study 31 sub-variables were extracted to measure the eight determinants and secondary data were collected from selected sources between January 2013 and May 2014. The results of comparing the domestic diamond models showed that: China is considerably better than Korea and Japan in terms of demand conditions, firm strategy, organization, and competition conditions while Japan is superior in terms of demand conditions and Korea shows better related and supporting industries conditions. When comparing and analyzing the international diamond models, Japan is superior in terms of factor conditions and China has better demand conditions, while Korea has failed to lead in any of the four determinants. When comparing and analyzing the comprehensive diamond model per country, China show superior demand conditions and firm strategy, organization, and competition conditions, Japan has better factor conditions, and Korea shows superior related and supporting industries conditions.

The Human Capital as a Factor of Competitiveness and Economic Development

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to rationale the new approach to analysis of the human capital as a factor of effective development of a national economy and increase the level of country's competitiveness. Research design, data, and methodology - This research aims the furthest development of the conception in human capital formation. The study made on the base of the methods with scientific classification and systematization, that is, comparative, statistical analysis, economic-mathematic method, and expert assessment and ratings. Results - This research attempted to measure the correlation between the human capital elements and the level of country's competitiveness. The study revealed that formation of the competitive human capital cannot be considered in separation from the development and modernization of education system, the improvement of employment sphere, and the creation of effective interaction between them through the system of professional skills. Conclusions - The competitive human capital formation is one of the most important goals in the innovative economy construction and modern development, and it is also indispensable subject. Especially in the condition of economic crises, the necessity of formation and development of the effective human capital is considerably increasing. Realization of this task requires the development and stimulation of all the factors influencing the growing human potential.

Application of AI in Marketing Strategy: Insights from Millennials and Generation Z

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the perceptions of millennials and Generation Z regarding AI applications in marketing, an area that has been rarely explored in previous researches. This study formulated research questions how millennials and Generation Z perceive the impact of brand image, AI-assistant customer service, affective factor, immersive experience, cognitive factor social factor and competitiveness of products and brands on overall attitude through the lens of AI applications in marketing. Additionally, this study also explored the influence of overall attitudes on satisfaction, intention to use, and loyalty towards AI applications. Research design, data and methodology: To gather data, this study employed an online survey conducted in collaboration with a reputable research organization. This study utilized factor analysis, ANOVA, and regression analysis for data analysis. Results: The findings revealed that the impact of brand image, AI-assistant customer service, and competitiveness on attitude demonstrated significance in both millennials and generation Z cohorts. The study identified that cognitive and social factors significantly influenced attitudes among millennials, whereas affective and immersive experiences showed significance in influencing attitudes among Generation Z. Conclusions: The findings offer valuable managerial implications, shedding light on the application of AI in marketing with distinct perspectives between millennials and Generation Z.

혁신형 중소기업을 위한 기술지원정책 연구 (A Study of Technical Support Policy for Innovative SMEs)

  • 본 연구에서는 중소기업 R&D 투자 지체와 정부지원 보완이라는 문제의식에 기인하여 중소기업 기술지원정책과 기술경쟁력과의 관계를 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 종합하면, 다음과 같이 두 가지의 결과를 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 중소기업 기술경쟁력에 영향을 주는 기술지원정책은 기술 자금세제지원, 기술인프라지원 등 직접적인 R&D 지원정책이 기술경쟁력에 높은 영향을 나타냈으며, 기업특성에 따라 1차협력기업 5~49인(소규모 기업) 제조업의 특성을 가진 혁신형 중소기업이 기술지원정책과 기술 경쟁력간 긍정적 영향 관계가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 결국 정책자금, 투자유치, 대출 확대 등으로 기술자금지원을 늘려야 하며 그 가운데서도 고성장 혁신형 중소기업 육성을 위한 전략적 R&D 자원배분과 연구인력지원 강화가 필요하다는 것을 시사점으로 제시하였다.
