This research deals with the basic ideas and implementation used for developing competitive advantage in the market they serve. The market to which a company belongs is continuously evolving, not static. Therefore, the company is required to adopt a suitable strategy in the market it serves. Marketing strategy establishment requires continual adjustment in the strategy content and redirection in organizational actions to address emerging market problems and opportunities. Much of the strategic implementation is characterized by firefights aimed at solving emerging, unforeseen problems. The concept of strategy was originally introduced to provide companies with a rational means of coping with environmental changes. An old Oriental proverb said that "knowing myself and then understanding others is the best way to success". In line with the proverb, the starting point of marketing strategy establishment for the competitive advantage is to understand the activities of a company wholly. After analyzing the scope of its activities, a company has to understand the market structure, to review competitive environments, to formulate the base of the competitive strategy and to adopt differentiation strategies for obtaining the competitive advantage.
Peer status, friendship, and school adjustment were measured for 326 third and fourth graders (171 boys, 155 girls). School adjustment was assessed by academic performance, and social behaviors were rated by teachers while attitudes toward school were reported by children. Examination of the relative contributions of peer status and friendship to school adjustment revealed both unique and joint explanations. Children's academic performance was mainly explained by peer status; popular children had higher performance than rejected children. Attitudes toward school were more positive for children who reported higher friendship quality. Prosocial behaviors were higher for the popular group and for children with more stable reciprocal friends; aggressive behaviors were higher for the rejected group and competitive children with close friends; withdrawal behaviors were higher for the neglected group and children with few reciprocal friends.

This paper concerns the analyses of dynamic adjustments in noncooperative games where the market informations are given at discrete time intervals. During the game period, the market informations are given at discrete time intervals. During the game period, the inventories initially stored by players are to be released one day based to the completely competitive market so as to maximize each player's revenue, where players' parameters are unknown one another. Game results have shown that the continuous dynamic adjustment does not necessarily assure the better revenue, and if a player thinks that his parameter is underestimated by hig opponent, then he is better overestimate his opponent's parameter.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the maternal child rearing behavior, sibling relationship, and children's social adjustment in group home and original home. Subjects of this study were 159 mothers and their children in Seoul and Gyounggi-do. Mothers responded to 'Korean Maternal Behavior Inventory', 'Sibling Relationship Questionnaire' and 'Social Maturity Scale'. The collected data were analyzed by ANCOVA, Pearson's partial correlation, factor analysis, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for internal consistency by SPSS PC program(10.0 version). The results were as follows; first, there was a significant difference in maternal rearing behavior between group home and original home. Original home mothers showed higher scores in reasoning guidance, affect, authoritarian control, achievement, overprotection, active involvement, and limit setting. Second, there was a significant difference in sibling relationship among two different homes. Sibling relationship in original home was more worm, intimate, and competitive. Third, there was no significant difference in social adjustment in those homes. Finally, there were different correlations among those homes. In original home, there were significant correlations between maternal rearing behavior and children's social adjustment, but there were no significant correlations between those variables.
Purpose - This study integrates a corporate competition system with a bird predation system to examine how organizational strategic adjustment capacity influences firm performance. By proving the prominent effects on performance, a financial vector is constructed to represent corporate strategic adjustment results, and an operation capacity vector is constructed, which can be categorized as a parameter for locating birds. All these works help us to propose a new method of investment, the portfolio decision model based on the strategic adjustment capacity. Research design, data, and methodology - Strategic adjustment capacity can be decomposed into three aspects: the organizational learning capacity from the top firms, the extent to which firms maintainor rely on the best operational capacity vector in history, and the ability to eliminate the disadvantages or retain the advantages of the operation capacity vector from the previous year. The method of solving cyclic equations is designed to evaluate strategic adjustment. Firms manufacturing specialized equipment are chosen to test the effects of the strategic adjustment capacity on three aspects of firm performance. Results - There is a positive correlation between the capacity to learn from the best firms and performance improvement. The relationship between the dependence or maintenance of a firm's advantages and performance improvement is a U-shape curve, and there is no significant effect of inertial control on performance improvement. Conclusions - A firm's competition system is a sophisticated adaptation, and competitive advantage and performance can be investigated based on the principles of competition in nature.
This paper investigates an oil refiner's asymmetric behavior in the adjustments of gasoline and diesel prices to changes in his own price and his rivals' prices as well as input costs. An asymmetric error correction model which allows a firm's pricing behavior to the deviation of other firms' prices from their long-run equilibrium level is employed for estimation using weekly data for the period April 2009 to January 2015. Evidence is found that there is a significant degree of asymmetry in the adjustment of wholesale prices to changes in crude oil price. A similar result in regard to the exchange rate is also found by the data. The estimation results for firm's response to changes in other firms' prices indicates that implicit collusion could be more easily exploited in the wholesale petroleum market as results of firms' interaction with each other and anticipation of rivals' pricing behavior. A few refiners show competitive price adjustment in response to the upward deviation of the others' prices from their equilibrium level.
Northeast Asia logistics hub strategy was undertaken by Korean Government to gain a national competitive advantage in Northeast Asia. Current Government has Northeast Asian Economic Hub Strategy including construction of SOC in Northeast Asia for promoting peace, promotion of formation of Northeast Asia Community, logistics hub, Financial hub and national innovation for R&D Cluster. To realize Northeast Asian logistics hub, the Northeast Asia logistics hub road map has undertaken as follows: expansion of logistics infra in Incheon Airport, Busan Port and Gwangyang Port, systematic improvements such as adjustment of investment distribution, special logistics companies, transparent customs in logistics transactions, logistics manpower, improvement of system supporting global logistics and attraction of international logistics companies to the logistics center, construction of seamless and paperless logistics information network, Northeast Asia railway infra. The purpose of this paper is to study investment priority and improvements in the Northeast Asia Logistics Hub Road Map and to contribute to gain the national competitive advantage as logistics hub in Northeast Asia

In competitive electricity markets, maintenance schedule is submitted by generation companies (GENCOs) and transmission companies (TRANSCOs), and coordinated by Independent System Operator (ISO) with the adequacy criterion. This paper presents an alternative coordination procedure by ISO on the maintenance schedule. In this paper, it is focused on modeling a coordination algorithm by ISO for the maintenance schedule based on the Simulated Annealing algorithm. The proposed model employs the minimum information such as generator capacity, forced outage rate and generator maintenance schedules. The objective function of this model represents minimization of adjustment on schedules submitted by GENCOs.

TPM was introduced to industries of Korea in the middle of the 80's. Thereafter, the reorganization of Korean industrial structure brought out the spread of TPM activities. However, TPM activities in Korean industries seem to be inferior to those in Japanese industries. We think this situation has occurred, because many Korean industries have directly applied the TPM model developed by Japanese industries without adjustment. In this paper, based on consulting experience, we present a TPM model that is suitable to the culture of Korean industries and can be a means of improving a competitive power of company.
The development of the high-frequency induction-heating for 2700kW power range intend to make localization at forging and rolling mill part by technical innovation. And, the development makes to increase our's competitive power at technique, quality and cost. This paper describes the heart of high-frequency induction-heating technique, switching technique, a few problem in common using as an unsatisfied technique, load adjustment technique, system control, diagnostic system, and auto-interface etc.
