본 연구는 노인들의 차별경험이 자아이미지를 매개로 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 분석하고, 사회 경제적 참여가 이러한 효과를 조절하는지 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 한국의 C지역 복지관과 경로당에 다니는 노인 543명을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 노인의 차별경험은 신체이미지, 능력이미지, 기질이미지 모두 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인들이 자각하고 있는 자아이미지 중 능력이미지와 기질이미지는 자아존중감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 신체이미지는 자아존중감에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 노인의 사회적 참여는 차별경험이 신체와 기질 이미지에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 효과를 조절하는 것으로 나타났으며, 기질 이미지가 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 경제적 참여는 차별경험이 자아이미지에 미치는 효과를 조절하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 능력이미지가 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 노인의 자아존중감을 높이는데 있어서 차별 수준을 낮추기 위한 정책적 지원의 필요성을 보여주고 있다. 또한 사회복지 프로그램을 실행하는 기관에서 노인이 차별을 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 다양한 사회적 경제적 참여 활동을 지원하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 시사해주고 있다.

The next generation electronics need to not only be smaller but also be more flexible. To meet such demands, electronic devices using two dimensional (2D) atomic crystals have been studied intensely. Especially, graphene which have unprecedented performance fulfillments in versatile research fields leads a parade of 2D atomic crystals. In this talk, I will introduce the electrical characterization and applications of graphene for prominently electrical transistors realization. Even the rising 2D atomic crystals such as hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and organic thin film for field effect transistor (FET) toward competent enhancement will be mentioned.

The paper describes the integrated design system using MDO and approximation technique. In MDO related research, final target is an integrated and automated MDO framework systems. However, in order to construct the integrated design system, the prerequisite condition is how much save computational cost because of iterative process in optimization design and lots of data information in CAD/CAE integration. Therefore, this paper presents that an efficient approximation method, Adaptive Approximation, is a competent strategy via MDO framework systems.

Korean construction companies are recently facing stiff competition in free market economy, and construction projects tend to be complex and large-scale. Such an environment demands that construction companies ensure specialized subcontractors. This paper suggested a subcontractor evaluation model for selection of competent subcontractors which are equipped with operational, technical and productive ability. For designing a subcontractor model, AHP method as a group decision-marking method is applied in assigning weighting indices of evaluation elements. To verify this method, actual data collected in one of construction companies are analysed statistically.

AHP is a competent methodology for multicriteria decision-making such as selection of technology in research laboratory, which requires the consideration of both quantitative and qualitative factors. This paper considers prioritization of technology alternatives using value functions for evaluating quantitative factors in AHP. Value functions are useful for the reducing questionars in this paper.

Flavonols are polyphenolic compounds that are present in dietary plant-based foodstuffs and beverages (e. g. apple, onion, grape fruit, tea) and medicinal plants (e. g. Crategus, Ruta graveolens, Silybum marianum, Fagopyrum species) in high concentrations. They have been reported to exhibit a wide variety of biological effects, including anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant and free-radical-scavenging activities.(omitted)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between children's attributional style and their self-perceived competence. The subjects of this study were 301 third and sixth grades. For data analysis, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used. Results indicated that there was significant correlation between children's attributional style and their self-perceived competence. Children who attributed good events to intemal, stable, or global causes and bad events to extemal, unstable, or specific causes perceived themselves more competent.

Many uncertainties are found in the evaluation of historical eatrhquake records. The seismic response characteristics of a three-bay-straw-roof house which is a typical from of residence in ancient period is quantitatively estimated. Two 1:4 scaled models are used in the test Real earthquake time histories for rock and competent soil conditions are used.

Indisputably school is the main institution that socialises migrant children into the culture of their new country. Through school they learn the new language and customs, which will enable them to become cultural brokers between the new cultural world and their families. During this process migrant children often transit a liminal terrain where their roles and identity become at the same time diverse and ambivalent. Despite the challenges involved these children often become experts in juggling different cultures, environments and expectations. This study explores the experiences of Latin American children and their families as they start primary school in Australia.
