주파수 선택성 페이딩 채널에서 보상 알고리즘의 수렴특성 (Convergence Characteristics of Compensation Algorithm in Frequency Selective Fading Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 시불변 전송 채널 및 주파수 선택성 페이딩 채널에서 최소 제곱 평균 알고리즘과 순차적 최소 제곱 알고리즘에 선형 탭 지연선 구조를 도입하여 보상 알고리즘의 제곱 평균 에러 특성을 고찰하였다. 또한 기존의 방식에서 사용하는 단일 탭 갱신 알고리즘과 본 논문에서 제안한 다중 탭 갱신 알고리즘을 비교, 분석하고 이를 수렴 특성 관점에서 고찰하였다.

Position Tracking Control of a Small Autonomous Helicopter by an LQR with Neural Network Compensation

  • In this paper, position tracking control of an autonomous helicopter is presented. Velocity is controlled by using an optimal state controller LQR. A position control loop is added to form a PD controller. To minimize a position tracking error, neural network is introduced. The reference compensation technique as a neural network control structure is used, and a position tracking error of an autonomous helicopter is compensated by neural network installed in the remotely located ground station. Considering time delays between an autonomous helicopter and the ground station, simulation studies have been conducted. Simulation results show that the LQR with neural network compensation performs better than that of the LQR itself.

  • The absolute pressure sensor using SDB wafer has been fabricated. the structure of the sensor consists of two wheatstone bridges and a diaphragm. One of the two wheatstone bridges is located on the edge of diaphragm, and the other is located on the center of diaphragm. The diaphragm cavity is sealted in vacuum (~10$^{5}$ Torr) to reduce the effect of temperature due to the vapor in the cavity on the sensitivity of pressure sensor. This is the minor method of temperature compensation method. In this experiment the main compensation method is to use the difference of the two bridge offset voltages. The drift of offset voltage with temperature is reduced by using this method so that temperature charcteristics is improved. In this method the temperature effect in the range of 22~100.deg. C was compensated over 80%.

  • A Novel pixel structure with a new threshold voltage compensation technique is proposed for large-size a-Si:H AMOLED panel application. The proposed pixel improves image quality with threshold voltage compensation and alleviates annealing technique for display-off time. Sensing the threshold voltage of driving TFT for 20-inch WUXGA panel is verified by the HSPICE simulation.

  • In order to control thermal deformation of machine origin of machine tools due to internal and external heat sources, the real-time compensation system has been developed. First, GMDH models were constructed to estimate thermal deformation of machine origin for a vertical machining center through the measurement of deformation data and temperature data of specific points on the machine tool. Thermocouples and gap sensors are used respectively for measurement. These models are nonlinear equations with high-order polynomials and implemented in a multilayered perceptron type network structure. Secondly, work origin shift method were developed by implementing digital I/O interface board between CNC controller and IBM-PC. The work origin shift method is to shift the work origin by the compensation amounts which is calculated by pre-established GMDH model. From the experimental result, thermal deformation of machine origin was reduced to below $\pm$5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

  • A motion picture compression scheme using subband coding with motion compensation is presneted in this paper. A hierarchical subband decomposition is used to split the image signal into 10 subbands with a 3-layer pyramid structure and motion compensation is used in each band. However, in this case, motion vector information is drastically increased; therefore, initial motion vectors are estimated in the highest pyramid and motion vectors are refined using the reconsructed subband signal in each layer. Simulation results show that the proposed method compares favorably in terms of prediction error energy and side informatio with methods requiring additional information. Images recostructed from the proposed method show good quality compared to those reconstructed using blockwise DCT.

  • 실제 프로세스 제어 중의 3개의 탱크 액체가 이 결합 시스템을 통제하는 작업 원리에 근거하여 두 개의 입력과 두 개의 출력 시스템의 수학적 모델을 제시하였다. 귀로 사이의 결합 작용을 한 종류의 형식의 요소로 간주하고 Feedforward 보상에 근거하여 정형화한 형태의 통제 분리 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 두 개의 입출력 결합 시스템에 대해 통제 분리를 진행하고 마지막으로 프로그래밍을 통해 이 통제 분리 프로세스의 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 시뮬레이션 결과는 그 방법이 양호한 통제 분리 효과를 얻을 수 있다는 것을 나타내었다.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel architecture, which is based on DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform), for ME (Motion Estimation) and MC (Motion Compensation). The traditional algorithms of ME and MC based on DCT did not suffer the advantage of the coarseness of the 2-dimensional DCT (2-D DCT) coefficients to reduce the operational time. Therefore, we derive a recursion equation for transform-domain ME and MC and design the structure by using highly regular, parallel, and pipeline processing elements. The main difference with others is removing the IDCT block by using to transform domain. Therefore, the performance of our algorithm is more efficient in practical image processing such as DVR (Digital Video Recorder) system. We present the simulation result which is compare with the spatial domain methods. it shows reducing the calculation cost. compression ratio. and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR).

시변채널 모델에서 다중 탭 갱신 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Multi-Tap Update Algorithm in Time Variant Channel Model)

  • 고속의 데이터 전송에 대한 채널의 왜곡을 보상하기 위해 다중 경로 다이버시티 수신을 수행하였다. 다이버시티 가지에 보상 알고리즘을 결합한 수신 구조를 갖는 DS/BPSK 시스템을 구성하고 시스템의 성능을 SNR에 따른 평균 비트 에러율 관점에서 평가하였다. 상호부호간 간섭을 극복하기 위해 L 개의 다이버시티 가지에 비선형 탭 지연선 구조를 사용하고 보상 알고리즘에 따라 탭 계수가 시변채널에 적응하도록 하였다. 그 결과 일반적인 보상 알고리즘에 비해 제안한 알고리즘의 평균 비트 에러율이 $10^{-2}$ 정도 개선되었다.

  • In this paper, a spindle system using an electromagnetic exciter is proposed to compensate a spindle disturbance such as unbalance and machining force etc A spindle compliance can be readily varied with a disturbance which is generated by the interact ion between the spindle / workpiece structure and the cutting process dynamics. The varied compliance is one of the major constraints that deteriorates the surface quality of workpiece. This paper suggests a compliance compensation by using the EME in the proposed spindle system. To compensate the varied compliance, firstly a spindle system modeling was conducted by using the bond graph. Then the model is simulated by numerical analysis method and an optimal EME position is determined to compensate a disturbance effectively through simulation, which makes the bearing load to be minimized
