의료기관 TQM 활동, 보상 공정성과 성과간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships among TQM Activities, Compensation Equity, and Performance in Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among TQM activities, compensation equity, and performance in hospitals. This study was designed to construct a structural equation model of TQM activities, compensation equity, and performance. Method: The subjects were 239 personnels working in four hospitals in Daegu and Gyeongpook. Data were collected using structured questionnaire from October 4, 2007 to February 4, 2008. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0 program. Result: The overall fitness of the structural equation model was evaluated. These results showed that the model was adequate. TQM activities directly influenced organizational performance and indirectly influenced organizational performance through compensation equity. Conclusion: In testing the structural equation model, the findings showed that TQM activities and compensation equity were important factors for improving organizational performance. Therefore, to improve performance, the hospital leaders must establish the strategies to facilitate TQM activities. It is also necessary to establish effective reward and performance appraisal systems to induce positive participation of personnels in hospitals.

  • 근역장 측정 알고리즘 유도를 간략화하기 위하여 심플렉틱 공간에 기반을 둔 심플렉틱 형태를 근역장 탐침 교정 방정식에 도입한다. 근역장 탐침 교정 방정식 유도를 위해 로렌츠 상호작용 원리를 이용한다. 심플렉틱 형태를 이용하면 복잡한 이중적분에 대한 고려가 필요 없으므로 근역장 탐침 교정 방정식이 간략화 된다.

고기동 환경에서 관성항법장치의 시간지연 보상 전달정렬 기법 (A Transfer Alignment Method considering a Data Latency Compensation for an Inertial Navigation System in High Dynamic Applications)

  • An improved transfer alignment method for a strap-down inertial navigation system (SDINS) is presented here. The alignment accuracy in conventional method is vulnerable to the data latency of a Master INS (MINS) in high maneuverable platforms. We propose a time delay compensation equation considering higher-order terms in the attitude measurement equation of the Kalman filter. The equation incorporates additional information including angular rate, angular acceleration and linear acceleration from the MINS. Simulation results show that the transfer alignment accuracy is significantly improved in the high dynamic environment by incorporating the latency compensation technique.

  • This paper addresses the development of inverse compensation techniques for a class of ferromagnetic transducers including magnetostrictive actuators. In this work, hysteresis is modeled through the domain wall theory originally proposed by Jiles and Atherton[1]. This model is based on the quantification of the energy required to translate domain walls pinned at inclusions in the material with the magnetization at a given field level specified through the solution of an ordinary differential equation. A complementary differential equation is then employed to compute the inverse which can be used to compensate for hysteresis and nonlinear dynamics in control design.

밀도검층 이격보정에 있어서의 기법 개선에 관한 연구 (Improving the Standoff Compensation in a Density Log)

  • 강원대학교 지구물리검층 보정용 시추공에서 2007, 2008년 및 2009년에 수행된 연차별 이격보정 자료를 이용하여 기존 이격보정 기법의 효과를 비교 검토하고 보다 효과적인 이격기법 마련을 위한 연구를 실시하였다. 먼저 이격보정의 두축을 이루고 있는 일반이격보정과 밀도변환이격보정 기법을 적용하고 그 보정 효과를 비교한 결과, 적용의 편의성이 돋보이는 밀도변환이격보정에서 일반이격보정보다 보정 오차가 2배 이상 높게 나타남을 확인하였다. 방사능감쇠 이론곡선을 적용하는 방법에서는 밀도변환이격보정의 경우보다도 더 큰 오차가 나타나 활용의 이점을 찾을 수 없었다. 이러한 결과 위에서 일반이격보정과 밀도변환이격보정 기법을 효과적으로 결합시켜 편의성과 정확성을 겸비한 역변환이격보정 방법을 제안하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel architecture, which is based on DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform), for ME (Motion Estimation) and MC (Motion Compensation). The traditional algorithms of ME and MC based on DCT did not suffer the advantage of the coarseness of the 2-dimensional DCT (2-D DCT) coefficients to reduce the operational time. Therefore, we derive a recursion equation for transform-domain ME and MC and design the structure by using highly regular, parallel, and pipeline processing elements. The main difference with others is removing the IDCT block by using to transform domain. Therefore, the performance of our algorithm is more efficient in practical image processing such as DVR (Digital Video Recorder) system. We present the simulation result which is compare with the spatial domain methods. it shows reducing the calculation cost. compression ratio. and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR).

3차원 좌표측정기(CMM)의 오차방정식 유도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Volumetric Error Equation of Coordinate Measuring Machines and their Application)

  • For general geometry of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), volumetric error equation including 21 systematic error components was showed using vector expression. Different types of CMM listed on an international standard (BS 6808) were classified according to their geometry, and the general volumetric error equation was used for the CMMs. Application of volumetric error equation was also introduced, such as position error compensation, error equation of CNC-machine and parametric error analysis, etc.

Time delay study for semi-active control of coupled adjacent structures using MR damper

  • The pounding phenomenon in adjacent structures happens in severing earthquakes that can cause great damages. Connecting neighboring structures with active and semi-active control devices is an effective method to avoid mutual colliding between neighboring buildings. One of the most important issues in control systems is applying online control force. There will be a time delay if the prose of producing control force does not perform on time. This paper proposed a time-delay compensation method in coupled structures control, with semi-active Magnetorheological (MR) damper. This method based on Newmark's integration is adopted to mitigate the time-delay effect. In this study, Lyapunov's direct approach is employed to compute demanded voltage for MR dampers. Using Lyapunov's direct algorithm guarantees the system stability to design a controller based on feedback. Because of the strong nonlinearity of MR dampers, the equation of motion of coupled structures becomes an involved equation, and it is impossible to solve it with the common time step methods. In present paper modified Newmark-Beta integration based on the instantaneous optimal control algorithm, used to solve the involved equation. In this method, the response of a coupled system estimated base on optimal control force. Two MDOF structures with different degrees of freedom are finally considered as a numeric example. The numerical results show, the Newmark compensation is an efficient method to decrease the negative effect of time delay in coupled systems; furthermore, instantaneous optimal control algorithm can estimate the response of structures suitable.

폐기능 예측식에 따른 폐환기능 장해도 변화 (Changes of Pulmonary Disability Grades according to the Spirometry Reference Equations)

  • Background: The aim was to estimate the differences between pulmonary disability grades according to the spirometry reference equations (the Korean equation and the Morris equation). Methods: Spirometry was performed on 16,916 male and 1,353 female special examination for pneumoconiosis, in the period of 2007~2009. Changes in predictive values for forced expiratory volume in one second ($FEV_1$), forced vital capacity (FVC) and $FEV_1$/FVC and in disability grade were evaluated using both equations. Results: Mean FVCs for men and women were 4,218.7 mL and 2,801.5 mL in predictive values after the application of the Korean equation, and 3,763.9 mL and 2,395.6 mL after the Morris equation, respectively. Compared with the Morris equation, the Korean equation showed 10.8% and 14.5% of excesses for men and women (p<0.001). Mean $FEV_1s$ for men and women were 3,102.5 mL and 2,107.1 mL in the Korean equation, and 2,667.8 mL and 1,699.6 mL in the Morris equation, respectively. Compared with the Morris equation, the Korean equation showed 14.0% and 19.3% of excesses for men and women (p<0.001). Men and women who showed the changes of disability grades using the Korean equation in place of the Morris equation were 23.9% (4,052/16,916) and 22.9% (311/1,353) on FVC, and 23.1% (3,913/16,916) and 10.7% (145/1,353) on $FEV_1$. Conclusion: Applying different reference equations for spirometry has resulted in changes for disability grades in special examination for pneumoconiosis.

3자유도 병렬기구의 위치오차 보정기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Error Compensation of Three-DOF Translational Parallel Manipulator)

  • This paper proposed a error compensation methodology for three-DOF translational parallel manipulator. The proposed method uses CMM (coordinate measuring machine) as metrology equipment to measure the position of end-effector. To identify the transform relationships between the coordinate system of the parallel manipulator and the CMM coordinate system, a new coordinate referencing (or coordinate system identification) technique is presented. By using this technique, accurate coordinate transformation relationships are efficiently established. According to these coordinate transformation relationships, an equation to calculate the compensating error components at any arbitrary position of the end-effector is derived. In this paper, Monte Carlo simulation method is applied to simulate the compensation process. Through the simulation results, the proposed error compensation method proves its effectiveness and feasibility.
