  • When LC filter is connected parallel to the Active Power Filter a problem of the resonance between the Active Power Filter(AF) and LC filte often arises. in this paper Deadbeat control of Hybrid Active Power Filter using Disturbance-observer is introduced to solve this problem. By the estimation of the harmonics disturbance using proposed disturbance observer the compensation characteristics of the AF is improved and the resonant current is suppressed. The validity of proposed disturbance observer is verified from simulation results using PSIM

  • Disturbance observer(DOB) based controller design is one of the most popular methods in the field of motion control. In this paper, a generalized disturbance compensation framework, called as robust internal-loop compensator(RIC) is introduced and an advanced design method of DOB is proposed based on the RIC. Mixed sensitivity optimization problem, which is the main issue of DOB design, is solved through the parameterization of DOB in the RIC framework. Different from conventional methods, Q-filter is separated in the mixed sensitivity optimization problem and the systematic design law for the DOB is proposed. This guarantees the robustness and optimality of the DOB and also enables the design for unstable plants.

  • Now there is utilization of elevator increasing continuously, it is one of electrical facilities taking a serious view safety. However, elevator comfortable ride is researched generally Recently aging condition, equipment life, malfunction, other applicancies of power electronics and equipment disturbance effect on power quality and prevention measures are much researches in advanced nation. but awareness is lacking real condition up to now in domestic. Voltage sag, swell, harmonics, surge etc of elevator system is important problem about human safety. and there are many quality compensation to solve these problem of elevator. So to evaluate these problem, in this paper, displayed result through computer simulation for converter of problem, and inverter part by power quality problem in power distribution system.

  • Recently, high definition media services like HDTV and IPTV are growing. A fast reduced-size image extracting method is required to meet what those services require. Conventional DC image extracting methods, however, can't be applied to H.264/AVC streams since a spatial domain prediction scheme is adopted in H.264/AVC intra mode. To solve this problem, a thumbnail extraction method in H.264/AVC was proposed. However, the method has mismatch problem which was caused by round-off operation in intra prediction and mismatch between integer and floating point calculation. In this paper, we propose an error compensation method for extracting thumbnail directly in H.264/AVC bitstreams. The compensation method introduces the mismatch problem in thumbnail extraction and presents compensation values. Through the implementation and performance evaluation, proposed method compensated round-off error efficiently in D1 and HD sequences while the additional extraction time is negligible.

Joint Overlapped Block Motion Compensation Using Eight-Neighbor Block Motion Vectors for Frame Rate Up-Conversion

  • The traditional block-based motion compensation methods in frame rate up-conversion (FRUC) only use a single uniquely motion vector field. However, there will always be some mistakes in the motion vector field whether the advanced motion estimation (ME) and motion vector analysis (MA) algorithms are performed or not. Once the motion vector field has many mistakes, the quality of the interpolated frame is severely affected. In order to solve the problem, this paper proposes a novel joint overlapped block motion compensation method (8J-OBMC) which adopts motion vectors of the interpolated block and its 8-neighbor blocks to jointly interpolate the target block. Since the smoothness of motion filed makes the motion vectors of 8-neighbor blocks around the interpolated block quite close to the true motion vector of the interpolated block, the proposed compensation algorithm has the better fault-tolerant capability than traditional ones. Besides, the annoying blocking artifacts can also be effectively suppressed by using overlapped blocks. Experimental results show that the proposed method is not only robust to motion vectors estimated wrongly, but also can to reduce blocking artifacts in comparison with existing popular compensation methods.

  • As urbanization and industrialization develops, the necessity of utilizing scarce land in three dimensions is raising. The issue of utilizing underground space is being actively discussed particularly when Geyeonggi-do announced GTX(Great Train Express) construction plan which aims to relieve traffic congestion in metropolitan areas. The current regulation on compensation of underground space is based on "Regulations on compensation standard complied by using underground space for construction of urban railway" but it is difficult for covering the whole rights to protect a three-dimensional right. In this context, the study is to propose the improvement plans of land right's problem and compensation issues to utilization of underground space for the right complementary. To do this, the study reviews the use situation of the classification surface right and using adjudication which defines the effect scope of underground space extending land ownership. As well as it analyzes issues about compensation standard for utilizing of underground space.

The Compensation Cost Analysis of Parcels for Land Alternation according to Occupation Ratio to Road (도로 편입률에 따른 토지이동 대상필지 보상비 분석)

  • Recently, many civil appeals have been occurred in land management work because of discord between cadastral records and actual land use pattern. it is important to select parcels for land alternation exactly using land information and to evaluate compensation cost according to scenarios for advancing this problem. This study operated GIS spatial overlay based on serial cadastral maps and actual-width of the road and analyzed the number and area of the parcels for land alternation by the land classification and ownership applying fuzzy membership function according to occupation ratio to road. Also compensation cost was calculated according to scenarios using individual public land price information of the parcels for land alternation and was arranged by district as Eup and Myeon according to land classification and ownership. This study can efficiently support the work of the parcels for land alternation complying with the financial condition of local government, by supplying compensation cost according to scenarios to the parcels of land alternation by district as Eup and Myeon.

Block-Coordinate Gauss-Newton Optimization for Image Registration (영상 정합을 위한 Block-Coordinate Gauss-Newton 최적화)

  • In this paper, research on joint optimization of the image spatial registration and the exposure compensation is conducted. The exposure compensation is performed in a frame work of the intensity compensation based on the polynomial approximation of the relationship between images. This compensation is jointly combined with the registration problem employing the Gauss-Newton nonlinear optimization method. In this paper, to perform for a simple and stable optimization, the block-coordinate method is combined with the Gauss-Newton optimization and extensively compared with the traditional approaches. Furthermore, regression analysis is considered in the compensation part for a better stable performance. By combining the block-coordinate method with the Gauss-Newton optimization, we can obtain a compatible performance reducing the computational complexity and stabilizing the performance. In the numerical result for a particular image, we obtain a satisfactory result for 10 repeats of the iteration, which implies a 50% reduction of the computational complexity. The error is also further reduced by 1.5dB compared to the ordinary method.

  • In this paper, the dynamic compliance and its compensation control of the force control system on the highly integrated valve-controlled cylinder (HIVC), the joint driver of the hydraulic drive legged robot, is researched. During the robot motion process, the outer loop dynamic compliance control is applied on the base of hydraulic control inner loop and most inner loop control are the force or torque closed loop control. While the dynamic compliance control effectiveness of outer loop can be affected by the inner loop self-dynamic-compliance. Based on this problem, the dynamic compliance series composition theory of HIVC force control system as well as the analysis of its self-dynamic-compliance is proposed. And then the paper comes up with the compliance-enhanced control, which is a compound compensation control method of dynamic compliance with multiple series branches. Finally, the experiment results indicate that the control method mentioned above can enhance the dynamic compliance of HIVC force control system observably. This provides the compensation control method of inner loop dynamic compliance for the outer loop compliance control requiring the high accuracy and high robustness for the robot.
