전통주택과 공동주택의 온·습도 변화 비교 연구 - 호남지방을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Comparison of Temperature and Relative Humidity between Korean Traditional House and Apartment House - Focused on the Honam District -)

  • The main procedure of this study is to compare temperature and relative humidity between Korean traditional house and apartment house. So, the experiments of measuring temperature and humidity were carried out in 6 Korean traditional houses and 2 apartment houses which are located in Honam district. The Korean traditional house has good conservation properties on temperature and much better effective than apartment house on humidity conservation. The results of this study may be used for basic material in revitalizing traditional construction method.

녹지 조건에 따른 기온 및 상대습도의 비교연구 (Comparison Study of Air Temperature by Green Condition and Relative Humidity)

  • 본 연구는 주거지역으로 둘러싸여진 4ha 규모의 녹지를 대상으로 토지피복현황 및 수고의 차이가 기상완화효과에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 녹지 내의 기온 및 상대습도분포를 관측하였다. 그 데이터를 바탕으로 녹지의 토지피복현황과 기온 및 상대습도분포, 토지피복비율 및 수목그루와 기상완화효과와의 관련성을 회귀분석 등에 의해 해석하였다. 그 결과, 고온역은 인공구조물과 나지 주변에 저온역은 수림지와 초지 주변에서 형성되었다. 상대습도는 기온분포에 거의 대응하는 형태로 고온역은 저습역이구 저온역은 고습역으로 나타났다. 토지피복비율별 기상완화효과를 보면, 수림지와 초지율이 증가하면 기온은 떨어지고 상대습도는 상승시키는 효과를 보였다. 또, 수목그루의 증가는 수고에 관계없이 모두 기상완화에 효과적이고 그 효과의 효율은 교목, 소교목의 순이다.

  • Factors governing the rate of heat exchange comprise the air temperature, the speed of air movement, relative humidity, and relation indoors. Recently, there are many researches on the transient analysis of indoor environmental factors such as the dry bulb temperature, relative humidity and air velocity in miniature models. The purpose of this study is to measure the environmental factors and to analyze and evaluate the characteristics of indoor environment with the different envelope structures using a granite dome model. According to the variation of humidity, the state of interior relative humidity for clay model has an equal tendency, although a little range of variation is shown in comparison to the cement model.

  • Surplus water inside a concrete other than moisture that is used for hydration of the cement affects the physical properties of the concrete (modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, drying shrinkage, and creep) by drying. Changes in temperature and humidity inside a concrete has correlation with the movement speed and reaction rate of deterioration factors such as carbon dioxide and chloride ions. In this study, comparison was performed between temperature and relative humidity inside the concrete and meteorological data for exposure environment through measurement at the site for two years. Surface temperature of the concrete (depth 1cm) was measured higher by 6℃ during the summers, while it was measured lower by 2℃ during the winters due to solar radiation, wind, and radiation cooling. As for relative humidity, change was large in the depth of 1cm, while more than 85% was maintained in the depth of 10cm.

  • This study aims to know temperature and humidity handling ability of Hwang-To brick and traditional paper window's in mock-up room test. To achieve these goals, mock-up room test was carried out. The results are as follows. 1) There are no significant differences among specimen in temperature handling capacity. 2) Traditional paper windows are very sensitive when compared with glass window in humidity control. 3) Traditional paper windows have a big handling capacity in humidity control when vapors letting out in mock-up room. 4) Hwang-To brick case is more stable than other cases in relative humidity variances because it has more potential to contain humidity.

  • Hot and humid weather in summer generally brings about discomfort. Experiments on which relative humidity makes effects on the comfort sensation were performed to the young and the aged using sensation vote. From July to October 1996, seven college students and eleven aged people were exposed for 2 hours under six different conditions in the Pukyong National University test chamber so as to determine the effects of relative humidity on thermal and comfort sensations. Subjects were wearing same clothes, and the mean clo value was 0.5. The mean radiant temperature was equal to the air temperature and air velocity in the occupied zone around 0.lm/s. In the experiments, it was found that discomfort could be largely reduced when the humidity is controlled to low values in the settled high temperature.

  • Thermal humidity characteristics were considered theoretically and experimentally. A Simply well-fitted correlation of a saturated vapor pressure-temperature curve of water was introduced based on Antoine equation to make theoretical prediction of relative humidity according to temperature variation. Characteristics of dew point were also examined theoretically and its relation with temperature and humidity was evaluated. The exact mass of water vapor in a specified humidity and temperature condition was estimated to provide useful insight into the idea about how much amount of water corresponds to a specified humidity and temperature condition in a confined system. A simple but well-fitting model of dehumidification process was introduced to anticipate the trend of relative humidity level during GN2(gaseous nitrogen) purge process in a humidity chamber. Well-suitedness of this model was also verified by comparison with experimental data. The overall appearance and specification of two thermal humidity chambers were introduced which were used to perform various thermal humidity tests in order to yield useful data necessary to support validity of theoretical models.

  • During the summer season, it is very hot and humid in Korea. So the humidity is an important factor regarding the environmental control function of building envelops. The purpose of this research is to measure and analyze the characteristics of such environmental factors as relative humidity, dry bulb temperature and air velocity varies both in the clay and cement envelop structures using granite dome models during the summer time. The interior relative humidity of the clay model is constant regardless of exterior humidity although a little range of variation is shown in comparison to the cement model.
