In this study, we present results of precise orbital geodetic parameter estimation using satellite laser ranging (SLR) observations for the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) associate analysis center (AAC). Using normal point observations of LAGEOS-1, LAGEOS-2, ETALON-1, and ETALON-2 in SLR consolidated laser ranging data format, the NASA/GSFC GEODYN II and SOLVE software programs were utilized for precise orbit determination (POD) and finding solutions of a terrestrial reference frame (TRF) and Earth orientation parameters (EOPs). For POD, a weekly-based orbit determination strategy was employed to process SLR observations taken from 20 weeks in 2013. For solutions of TRF and EOPs, loosely constrained scheme was used to integrate POD results of four geodetic SLR satellites. The coordinates of 11 ILRS core sites were determined and daily polar motion and polar motion rates were estimated. The root mean square (RMS) value of post-fit residuals was used for orbit quality assessment, and both the stability of TRF and the precision of EOPs by external comparison were analyzed for verification of our solutions. Results of post-fit residuals show that the RMS of the orbits of LAGEOS-1 and LAGEOS-2 are 1.20 and 1.12 cm, and those of ETALON-1 and ETALON-2 are 1.02 and 1.11 cm, respectively. The stability analysis of TRF shows that the mean value of 3D stability of the coordinates of 11 ILRS core sites is 7.0 mm. An external comparison, with respect to International Earth rotation and Reference systems Service (IERS) 08 C04 results, shows that standard deviations of polar motion $X_P$ and $Y_P$ are 0.754 milliarcseconds (mas) and 0.576 mas, respectively. Our results of precise orbital and geodetic parameter estimation are reasonable and help advance research at ILRS AAC.
Recent 3D printing technology has been grafting onto various medical practices. In light of this trend, this research is intended to examine the figuration surface's accuracy of 3D images made by using DICOM images after printing by 3D printing. The medical images were obtained from animal bone objects, while the objects were printed after undergoing STL file conversion for 3D printing purposes. Ultimately, after the 3D figuration, which was obtained by the original animal bones and 3D printing, was scanned by 3D scanner, 3D modeling was merged each other and the differences were compared. The result analysis was conducted by visual figuration comparison, color comparison of modeling's scale value, and numerical figuration comparison. The shape surface was not visually distinguished; the numerical figuration comparison was made from the values measured from the four different points on the X, Y and Z coordinates. The shape surface of the merged modeling was smaller than the original object (the animal bone) by average of -0.49 mm in the 3D printed figuration. However, not all of the shape surface was uniformly reduced in size and the differences was within range of -0.83 mm on the experiment.

In the analysis of the 3 dimensional plate structures by the finite element method, the triangular elements are generally used for the global stiffness matrix of the analyzed system. But the triangular elements of the plates have some problems in the process of formulation and in the precision of analysis. The formulation of the finite element method to analyze 3 dimensional plate structures using quadrilateral elements is presented in this paper. The degree of freedom off nodal point is 6, that is, the displacements in the direction off-y-z is and the rotations about x-y-z axis and then the degree of freedom off element is 24. For the comparison of the analysis using triangular elements and quadrilateral elements, the rectangular plates subjected to the uniform load and a concentrated load on the centroid of the plate, for which the theoretical solutions have been obtained, are analyzed. The calculated deflections of the rectangular plates using the finite element method by the triangular elements and the quadrilateral elements are also compared with the deflections of the plates calculated by theoretical solutions. The defections of the rectangular plates calculated by the finite element method using the quadrilateral elements are closer to the theoretical solutions than the defections calculated by the finite element method using the triangular elements. The deflection of the centroid of plate, calculated by the finite element method, converges to that of theoretical solution as the number of elements is increased. This convergence is much more rapid for the case of using the quakrilateral elements than fir the case of using triangular elements.
In 1861 Nam Byeong-Gil published a book called as "Seonggyeong" which contains a star catalogue (NBGC) with the positions, magnitudes, and star maps for 1449 stars. The NBGC lists only the traditional Chinese stars selected from "the sequel to the Qing Dynasty Star Catalogue and Star Map." To identify each star from the NBGC with modern counterpart, we correct the positions of the Hipparcos stars brighter than 6.5 mag for proper motion, then precess the coordinates to the epoch of the NBGC. For each star in the NBGC, we find the nearest counterpart in the Hipparcos Catalogue (HC). If a much brighter star is at a slightly larger angular distance, we select that star as the secure counterpart. As a result, 95.5% of the stars in the NBGC were identified. We find a very good overall agreement of our results with a previous analysis by Ahn et al. (1996, Journal of the Korean History of Science Society, vol. I). For securely identified stars, we analyse its accuracy on the basis of comparison with data from the HC. The correlation of the errors between right ascensions and declinations is significantly deviated from spherical distribution. The magnitudes recorded in the NBGC correlate well with modern values. The accuracy of position decreases slowly with magnitude. Right ascensions and declinations have error distributions with ${\sigma}$ = 2.0' for the former while the latter with ${\sigma}$ = 1.6', but with much more errors >5' than expected for a Gaussian distribution.
The flight performance evaluation of navigation system is very significant because the reliability of navigation data directly affect the safety of aircraft. Especially, the high-level navigation system such as DGPS/INS, need more precise flight performance evaluation method. The performance analysis is evaluated by comparing between the navigation system in aircraft and reference trajectory which is more precise than navigation system in aircraft. In order to verify DGPS/INS performance of m-level, the GPS receiver, which is capable post-processed Carrier-phase Differential GPS(CDGPS) method of cm-level, have to be used as reference system. The DGPS/INS is estimated the Center of Gravity (CG) point of aircraft to offer precise performance while the reference system is output the position of GPS antenna which is mounted on the outside of aircraft. Therefore, in order to more precise performance evaluation, it needs to compensate the lever arm and coordinates transformation. This paper use quaternion and Direct Cosine Matrix(DCM) methods as coordinate transformation matrix in lever arm compensation of CDGPS reference trajectory. And it compares NED errors of DCM and quaternion transformation in lever arm of reference trajectory via DGPS/INS result.

The Dynamic equations in the polar coordinates are drawn out using the MLPG method for the non-symmetric FG cylindrical shell. To simulate the mechanical properties of FGM, the nonlinear volume fractions for radial direction are used. The shape function applied in this paper is a form of the radial basis functions, by using this function all the requirements for an effective and suitable shape function are established. Hence in this study, the multiquadrics (MQ) radial basis functions are exploited as the shape function governing the problem. The MLPG method is combined with the the Newmark time approximation scheme to solve dynamic equations in the time domain. The obtained results by the MLPG method to be verified are compared with the analytical solution and the FEM. The obtained results through the MLPG method show a good agreement in comparison to other results and the MLPG method has high accuracy for dynamic analysis of the non-symmetric FG cylindrical shell. To demonstrate the capability of the present method to dynamic analysis of the non-symmetric FG cylindrical shell, it is analyzed dynamically with different volume fraction exponents under harmonic and rectangular shock loading. The present method shows high accuracy, efficiency and capability to dynamic analysis of the non-symmetric FG cylindrical shell with nonlinear grading patterns.
Deployable structures have gained more and more applications in space and civil structures, while it takes a large amount of computational resources to analyze this kind of multibody systems using common analysis methods. This paper presents a new approach for dynamic analysis of multibody systems consisting of both rigid bars and arbitrarily shaped rigid bodies. The bars and rigid bodies are connected through their nodes by ideal pin joints, which are usually fundamental components of deployable structures. Utilizing the Moore-Penrose generalized inverse matrix, equations of motion and constraint equations of the bars and rigid bodies are formulated with nodal Cartesian coordinates as unknowns. Based on the constraint equations, the nodal displacements are expressed as linear combination of the independent modes of the rigid body displacements, i.e., the null space orthogonal basis of the constraint matrix. The proposed method has less unknowns and a simple formulation compared with common multibody dynamic methods. An analysis program for the proposed method is developed, and its validity and efficiency are investigated by analyses of several representative numerical examples, where good accuracy and efficiency are demonstrated through comparison with commercial software package ADAMS.
Light-measuring devices (LMDs) are frequently used to measure luminance and color coordinates of displays. However, it is very difficult to use a conventional LMD for measuring the optical properties of virtual-reality (VR) devices with a wide field of view (FOV), because of their confined spaces where the entrance pupil of a LMD is located. In this paper, a new LMD that can measure the optical properties of wide-FOV VR devices, without physical conflict with the goggles of the VR device, is proposed. The LMD is designed to fully satisfy the requirements of IEC 63145-20-10, and a pivot-point correction method for the LMD is applied to improve its accuracy. To show the feasibility of the developed LMD and the correction method, seven VR devices with wide FOV are measured with it. From the results, all of them are successfully measured without any physical conflict, and a comparison to their nominal values shows that the FOVs have been properly measured.

To get the highly-accurate and precise position of a GPS receiver, they should consider the state-of-the-art GPS force and measurement models. Especially, the phase center variations (PCV) of a GPS antenna can cause several centimeters of positioning errors in the vertical direction. In this study, we implemented four different models of PCV and evaluated their impact on the computed coordinates. The test data were taken from the 14 National Geography Information Institute permanent GPS stations and 30 Minisry of Government Administration and Home Affairs sites. For different combinations of calibration methods, an average of 1.3-2.6cm of height difference was observed. Also, we found a maximum error of ${\sim}4mm$ in the estimates of the precipitable water vapors.
