Mathematical Modeling & Empirical Analysis for Estimation of Fuel Consumption using OBD-II Data in Vehicle (차량 OBD-II 데이터를 이용한 연료 소모량 추정의 수식적 모델링 및 실증 분석)

  • This Paper proposed the prediction method of fuel consumption from vehicle informations through OBD-II Interface. We assumed RPM, TPS had a relationship with fuel consumption. We got the output as fuel-consumption from a vehicle RPM, TPS as input by using polynomial equation. We had modelling as quadric function with OBD-II data and fuel consumption data supported by automotive company in real. In order to verify the effectiveness of proposed method, 5 km real road-test was performed. The results showed that the proposed method can estimate precisely the fuel consumption from vehicle multi-data.

  • Some of the important and vital roles performed by the Health Care Center of Pohang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.(POSCO) are the periodic monitoring of the work sites as well as regular medical check-ups for each workers to ensure both pleasant and safe working conditions and to protect employees' health. Pohang Steel Works, which has 42 plants, 26 facilities and 12,000 employees, has an annual crude steel production capacity of 9,670,000 using 24,500,000 ton of raw materials. We have measured lots of areal and personal working environment according to Occupational Safety and Health Law semiannually. All data collected on industrial hygiene is stored and managed by personal computer. The developed of a computerized industrial hygiene control system linked to the company's main computer system will provide efficient evaluation of the working environment as well as critical informations on employees' health. Development of this system had begun in May, 1992 and was completed in March, 1994. The computerized industrial hygiene control system can; 1. store industrial hygiene data, providing key pertinent to the diagnosis of occupational related illnesses, and if necessary, the basis for improving the working environment, 2. decide type and time of medical examination of each work for exposure to specific agents, and supply proper protection periodically, 3. prevent occupational related illnesses through evaluation of environmental and biological monitoring, and performance of epidemiological surveillance, 4. facilitate proper job placement through linking of industrial hygiene control and personnel information systems, 5. monitor job processes. levels of chemical agents used, and new agents introduced, 6. and increase productivity by saving time resulting from the implementation of the computerized sysyte,

  • In current algorithm trading system, general users need to program their algorithms using programing language and APIs provided from financial companies. Therefore, such environment keeps general personal investors away from using algorithm trading. Therefore, this paper focuses on developing user-friendly algorithm trading system which enables general investors to make their own trading algorithms without knowledge on program language and APIs. In the system, investors input their investment criteria through user interface and this automatically creates their own trading algorithms. The proposed system is composed with two parts: server intercommunicating with financial company server to send and to receive financial informations for trading, and client including user convenience-based user interface representing secondary indexes and strategies, and a part generating algorithm.   • The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the traditional color sentiment on the contemporary clothing color by researching the street fashion of 2010 Winter season of Dalian in China, in view of the clothing color of women in their 20-30 years of age, along with traditional Chinese color. This is the 2nd paper following the paper no. 1, focusing on 2010 Summer season, so the research method is same as the paper no. 1. As a result, Black and deep tone PB color most frequently appeared. The vivid and strong tone of R, YR, Y color showed high frequency of clothing colors. This results illustrate that the clothing color choices of Chinese women was affected by Chinese traditional color sentiment rather than the international color trend. Characteristically, in winter season, frequency of R and Y color categories were higher than in summer season, specially in the top and accessories color, those colors showed higher frequency than the other colors. These were the important points in dealing with winter color trend, so that the fashion company and brands should take it an important points when they are planning winter clothing colors. The achromatic colors show the high frequency in both seasons. The bottom color shows high incidence of Black and deep tone of PB color categories as in the previous researches. That means consistent color trend existed in Dalian city, however it does not seem to have its origin from traditional Chinese color preferences. This kinds of regional and seasonal research might contribute to finding the basic informations about the design and marketing strategies to launch into the Chinese fashion market.

  • This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of innovation activities and informal networks of venture companies in Daegu region. The most important knowledge source of them for innovation is in house. The next are customers, competitors, and public supporters. And it was investigated that regional venture companies have participated in 1-5 informal network organizations. They primarily achieve such knowledges as, technologies, new business opportunities, and marketing information, through participation in informal networks. The reasons why they have taken part in informal networks are to get new informations and acquire new business opportunities. Particularly The informal networks between ventures companies and other regional economic actors have helped the regional venture companies to obtain more economic performance and to establish social capital, such as faith, with other economic actors.

3-Dimensional Sequence Interpretation of Seismic Attributes in the Structurally Complex Area (복잡한 지질구조 지역에서의 3차원 탄성파 Attribute를 이용한 층서해석 사례)

  • The study was performed as a part of 3-D exploration project of the South Con Son basin, where Korea National Oil Co. (KNOC) and SHELL Company are performing joint operation. In the structurally complex area, seismic facies or lap-out patterns, which are usually the tools for the conventional seismic stratigraphy developed by Exxon Group (Vail et at., 1977), are not easily identifiable. Therefore, stratigraphic informations are mainly extracted from seismic attribute maps of each sequence or systems tracts, and isopach maps in correlation with the stratigraphic information from the wells. The attribute maps of the sequence or systems tract boundaries and isopach map describe the variations of paleodepositional environments. The shape of the attribute maps of the boundaries is a reasonable description of the shape of the paleodepositional surface. With other maps such as isopach and structural maps, the variations of the parasequences in the systems tracts can be projected using the surface attribute maps. The reflection intensity attribute at each sequence or system tract boundary can be related to lithology, facies or porosity distributions. The azimuth attribute of source rock sequence can be used to identify the hydrocarbon migration patterns into the prospects. The overall risks of reservoir rocks, cap rocks, structure and hydrocarbon migrations were computed using the results of the study.

  • Objectives : The homepage is used for introduction and information about person, company, school, hospital, clinc, library, government office, etc. Realted to Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM), they have hompage ; The Association of Korean Medicine, The Society of Korean Medicine and its academic division, TKM clinic, TKM hospital. Most of all, we have concern that 11 universities and 1 graduate school which educate TKM, provide homepages to show their contents such as study course, greetings, Q&A and so on. Also we need compare those homepages to evaluate qualities and updates of contents. Methods : We visited to compare and evaluate 11 universities and 1 graduate school homepage. Results : 1st, there are differences on contents depending on emphasis of universities and graduate school. 2nd, we realize that universities and graduate school need high quality and high relevant contents related to TKM and TKM education. 3rd, the homepage is required feedback action about informations continuously. Conclusions : Till now, 11 universities and 1 graduate school homepages related to TKM have not upgraded and just have used 'notice contents' to inform their news. To make sure for homepage functions, 11 universities and 1 graduate school need rebuild or renovate or update their homepages.

  • WWW has accepted widely to the who wants the hypermedia-based internet services. And WWW introduces intranet environment which consists of the networks supporting TCP/IP and HTTP protocol for processing the task of company inside that. Intranet application should support not only acquiring the informations, but also producing, modifying and deleting the ones. But since previous hypermedia development methods lack modeling behavior of system and reuse, we need a new method for intranet application. In this thesis, we have proposed the OOIDM(Object Oriented Intranet application Development Method)supporting modeling behavior of system and reuse. And we have proposed the design patterns available for the intranet domain in order to reuse the design information. And we introduces a case study about OOIDM applying design patterns. Adaptation of design patterns to intranet domain gives us much benefits. Design patterns make it easier to reuse the successful design, architecture and reducing the design decisions.

  • We already have seen many studies and articles about the methodology responding the security risks and threats. But we still have some controversial subjects to be settled. Now, we are living in the era that we should focus on how to use the security systems instead of how to make it. In this point of view, a company need to find out the answer for these questions, which security risks have to be handled in a corporate, which system is better for responding the security threats, and how we can build necessary security architecture in case of developing systems. In this article, we'd like to study on-site scenarios threatening the corporate assets, the limit on dealing with these threats, and how to consolidate the security events and information from enormous assets. Also, we'd like to search for the direction form the actual cases which have shown the desired effect from converging the assets and network informations.

  • vCard that is the electronic business card automates the exchange of personal information typically found on a traditional business card. vCard information contains not only simple text, but also graphics and multimedia data like pictures, company logos, Web addresses, and so on. This paper describes the design and implementation of Web-based vCard agent system for exchanging vCard, an electronic business card and searching another user's vCard in mobile phone environment. In today's business environment, such as that this information is typically exchanged on business cards. Our web agent system in this paper connect web server which provide vCard service and search, edit vCard information displayed by web browser of mobile phone and exchange vCard with another user through internet. Considering characteristics of wireless devices that have limited storage space, It also saves constructed XML documents that include user's informations in a web server and solves the security problem by exchanging not personal data or XML but encrypted directory name where XML document exits as exchanging vcard.
