지역기반 사회환경교육 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구-생태보전시민모임 숲속 자연학교 사례- (A Case Study of the Community-based Nonformal Environmental Education Program Development-On the Case of the Nature School in the Forest-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the program development process of a nonformal environmental education(EE) program in detail. For the purpose, following research questions were answered in "the Nature School in the Forest" program in Eco-Club 1) What is the program development process? 2) What is the role of staffs, program developers, in the program development process? What are the meanings of their pedagogical approach? 3) With the findings of this study, how is the researcher able to develop ground theory for community-based nonformal EE, and to promote theoretical discussion for field improvement? The data were mainly gathered through participation observation and unstructured interview. And the data were analyzed by qualitative techniques such as clustering, factoring, noting pattern and themes, seeing plausibility, making metaphors, and building logical chain of evidence. The following conclusion comes out of the findings of this study. "The Nature School in the Forest" program is a educational device which the community-based NGO chose as a strategy to change individuals and community with its ideological purpose. And the program development process was the contiuous group decision-making process among staffs and volunteers. Consequently "the Nature School in the Forest" program is a circulated process of the voluntary activists training and their participation in program operation.

  • Recently, the importance of entrepreneurship based on innovative ideas is being emphasized. Most startup companies misunderstand that a good solution is a good idea, so they try to start a business by choosing an idea that prioritizes solutions, products, and technology rather than problem-first. However, to be a successful startup, it is essential to focus on the quality of the problems your customers are trying to solve. The online community is a place where many people exchange their thoughts and communicate with each other through a network, and communities about consumption, a concern of modern people, are developing. Against this background, this study proposed an integrated methodology that combines big data and netnography analysis so that entrepreneurs can use online community data to derive customer-centered startup ideas. The integrated methodology was verified based on the actual start-up case, who derived a startup idea based on the data of domestic cloth diapers online cafe. The case company found customer problems based on online community data and used it to develop startup items and new products. The integrated methodology for deriving entrepreneurial ideas in this study is expected to be an important guideline that explains in detail the consumer-centered idea derivation process.

  • According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), many countries around the world have been concerned with reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. Reducing the level of building energy consumption is particularly important in bringing GHG down. Because of this, many countries including the US and the EU are enforcing energy-related policies. However, these policies are focused on management of single types of buildings such as public buildings and office buildings, instead of management on a national level. Thus, although various policies have been enforced in many countries, CO2 management on a national level is still not an area of focus. Therefore, this study proposed a community-based CO2 management process that allows government-led GHG management. The minimum unit of the community in this study is a plot, and the process consists of three steps. First, the current condition of the GHG emission was identified by plot. Second, based on the identified results, the GHG emission reduction target was distributed per plot by reflecting the weighted value according to (i) the target CO2 reduction in the buildings in the standard year, (ii) region, and (iii) building usage and size. Finally, to achieve the allocated target reduction, building energy management was executed according to the properties of the building located on each plot. It can be expected that the proposed community-based CO2 management process will enable government-level GHG management, through which environment-friendly building construction can be promoted.

마을미디어 실천에 대한 탐색적 연구 서울마을미디어 활동에 대한 근거이론을 통한 분석 (Exploratory Research about Maeul Community Media Practice Grounded Theory Based Analysis about Seoul Community Media Practice)

  • 마을미디어는 미디어교육이 마을공동체 운동과 결합하는 방식을 통해서 등장하고 있는 지역을 기반으로 하는 공동체미디어 활동이다. 2012년 서울시의 지원 정책과 함께 등장하여 서울뿐만 아니라 전국적으로 확대되고 있는 추세다. 본 연구는 마을미디어 활동가들의 실천 과정을 이해하고 규명하는 데에 그 목적이 있으며 이를 위해서 근거이론적 접근을 시도하였다. 2012년부터 지속적으로 활동해온 영상 및 라디오 분야 활동가를 연구 참여자로 설정하여 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. 근거이론에 따라서 개방코딩한 결과 16개의 범주와 59개의 하위범주를 도출하였다. 축코딩 결과 지속가능한 마을미디어 활동 욕구라는 중심 현상을 발견하였으며, 마을 채널의 부재와 공적 지원의 불안정한 정황에서도 운영의 안정화와 마을미디어네트워크의 역량을 강화하기 위해 스페이스미디어 발명, 다각적 배급방법 모색, 네트워크 공동행동의 전략적 실천을 하고 있으며 그 결과 마을의 현안을 발굴하고 의제화하면서 마을공동체와 시민사회와 네트워크됨으로써 마을의 공론장 역할에 대한 기대와 욕구가 한층 더 커지고 있음을 확인할 수 있다.

지역사회 치위생관리과정에 기반한 지역사회치위생학 실습 학습목표 타당화 연구 (A study on the validation of learning goals of community dental hygiene practicum based on the community dental hygiene process of care)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to define the concept of the community dental hygiene process of care and to develop competency-based learning goals applying the community dental hygiene process of care. Methods: Based on 12 references, the concept of community dental hygiene process of care was defined, and 393 learning objectives were derived to carry out the first and second categorization process. The 57 learning goals were classified according to the 15-week learning subject (once a week) for project learning. To evaluate the validity of the developed learning subjects and goals, 80 community dental hygiene professors were surveyed. The final learning subjects and goals were created by going through the process of collecting opinions from the 35 validity evaluation results received as responses, and opinions from 10 community dental hygiene professors. Results: The first and second validity surveys on the operational definition of community dental hygiene process of care showed 4.32 points and 4.60 points, respectively. As a result of the evaluation of the validity of the learning subjects and goals for 1~15 weeks, the average validity of the learning subjects was 4.44 points, and of learning goals was 4.32 points. Conclusions: The learning subjects and goals developed by applying the theoretical framework for community dental hygiene process of care defined in this study can be used as a learning guideline for learners to understand the theory of community dental hygiene area and to derive the standards of competence in the field of practice.

보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델 개발 - 부산지역 일개 보건소 시범사업을 중심으로 - (Development of Community Health Center-Based Hospice Management Model: Pilot Project at a Community Health Center in Busan)

  • 목적: 호스피스 서비스의 원칙, 일선 보건소의 특수성과 지역사회 가용자원을 고려한 보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델을 개발하기 위하여 이루어졌다. 방법: 호스피스 관련 선행연구, 문헌고찰, 관할지역 내 호스피스 실태조사 및 시범운영 평가를 통해 보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델을 개발하는 연구이다. 2008년 1월부터 12월까지 부산광역시 1개 보건소와 부산지역 말기암환자 의료기관 및 호스피스를 전공하는 간호대학이 연구팀을 구성하여 호스피스 시범사업 운영체계 확립, 호스피스 서비스 전달체계 구성 및 제공 그리고 시범운영 평가를 통한 보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델 개발의 3단계 추진과정을 거쳐 이루어졌다. 결과: '보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델'은 보건소의 특수성과 해당 지역사회가 가지고 있는 자원간의 연계를 통한 총체적 서비스 제공이다. 지역암센터는 관할지역 보건소에 재정적, 행정적인 부분을 지원해 주고, 보건소는 호스피스사업 수행을 지원할 수 있는 협력대학에 사업을 위탁하여 전체 사업운영에 대한 기획을 위임하였다. 또한 사업지원단과 사업자문단을 통하여 호스피스 운영과 관련된 제반문제를 지원받는 체계를 구성하였다. 방문간호 팀으로부터 재가 말기암환자를 의뢰받은 호스피스 담당간호사는 환자를 등록시키고 초기사정을 거친 후 호스피스 팀 회의를 거쳐 서비스 우선순위를 정한 다음, 필요한 서비스와 함께 자원봉사 파견을 통한 총체적 서비스를 제공하였다. 이러한 운영모델은 재가 암환자를 중심으로 한 보건소 중심 호스피스사업을 실시할 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다. 결론: 보건소가 가지고 있는 지역사회 가용자원을 최대한 활용하는 '보건소 중심 호스피스 운영모델'은 의료시각지대에 있는 재가 암환자와 가족의 삶의 질 증진을 통해 지역 보건복지 정책의 질적 향상을 유도하게 될 것이다.

지역사회역량이 건강에 미치는 영향에 대한 다수준 분석: 사회의 질 증진에 주는 함의 (A Multi-level Study of Contextual Effects of Community Capacity on Health Status among Seoul Residents: Focused on Social Quality)

  • Objectives: The aim of the present study is to elucidate the relationship of community capacity to health in a metropolitan area in Korea. To do so, a multi-level model to verify the contextual effects of community capacity is presented. Methods: The study materials are the "The 4th Seoul Citizens Health Indicators Surveys" on 404 dong in Seoul. The community capacity indicators were developed in two strata: individual-level indicators with community identity domain; and community-level indicators with participation in community organizations, number of non-profit organizations, degree of organizing of community-based organizations, and volunteer activities. Results: Higher unhealthy probability occurs among those with lower community capacity at the community level, lower individual income, and lower community satisfaction at the individual level. It contributed to explaining self-rated health status and showed that there were contextual effects of the community going beyond the compositional effects of the individual. Conclusions: In the process of building community capacity, a community autonomously finds pending issues and solves related problems, and in so doing, raises the social quality and establishes the conditions for health promotion. Thus, the significance of neighborhood needs to be discovered and created in a new way through the development of community capacity.

농촌 마을 공동체 유형에 따른 의식조사 - 충남 예산군을 대상으로 - (Analysis on Community Consciousness of Leaders and Members of Rural Village Community Organizations by types - Case Study on Yesan Gun -)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis of rural village's community status and consciousness through a questionnaire survey of community leaders and members. Nine types of rural village communities were selected in Korea through a pre-survey of amenity resources data from the Rural Development Administration. Survey items that could determine characteristics of rural village communities were derived from a literature survey of rural village community systems. A questionnaire survey was conducted for 12 Eup-Myeon in Yesan Gun and responses were gathered from 66 community leaders and 1,222 community members. The results derived from the data collected from the community leaders show that 50% percent of rural village communities have been operating for over 25 years, and that community works such as group purchases are carried out based on emotional sympathies between residents. The results derived from the data collected from community members show that on average, community activities are carried out at places that are between 30 and 60 minutes away. Most members are satisfied with regard to the status of their rural village community. A correlation analysis showed that the rural village community satisfaction depended on travel time, community fee, and activity time.

Online Brand Community and Its Outcomes

  • The aim of this study is to delve deeper into the online brand community study. This study tests (a) the effects of online brand community on its outcomes, (b) the impact of value creation practice construct as a whole, (c) the effects of value creating practice construct on the two types of loyalty, loyalty toward the brand and the community. Participants of this study (N=353) are members of four types of online brand communities (e.g., business-to-consumer virtual product support community, firm-hosted online community, user-generated online community, peer-to-peer problem-solving community, and social media based brand community). Data were collected online using Amazon Mechanical Turk from April 10, 2016 to May 10, 2016. The data were analyzed through structural equations modeling using AMOS 20. The three community markers (e.g., consciousness of kind, rituals and traditions, and moral responsibility) and the four value creation practices (e.g., social networking, impression management, community engagement, and brand use) are proved to be significant indicators of online brand community and value creation practice constructs, respectively. Test results showed that strong and effective online brand communities generate value creation practices, and value creation practices enhance brand loyalty. The mediating effects of community loyalty between value creation practices and brand loyalty were revealed.

대학생의 공동체 의식에 영향을 미치는 요인 - 평택대학교 학생을 대상으로 - (College Sense of Community in Relations to College-Related Characteristics - Focused on Pyeongtaek University -)

  • Nowadays a sense of community based on our community further weakens due to globalization, industrialization, the development of transportation and communication, etc and the community as cultural and psychological units is focused on. In other words, the concept that emphasizes the aspect of 'we' sharing the unique value and goal of community is used. In this current situation, school as an important community organization has been in the spotlight. In particular, college compared with other communities has a special influence on the community. Therefore it is regarded as an important community organization and its importance as part of our efforts to decrease the college students wastage rates continues to grow. The study about school as an important community organization has been conducted actively. However the people in most studies are elementary, middle, and high school students, so there are limitations to what these study findings apply to college. Therefore, this study conducted factor analysis of college sense of community for local college students, categorized it, analyzed the factors having influence on each factor and then looked for suggestions of ways to strengthen college sense of community. According to study, sense of community is categorized into three factors such as 'sense of belonging', 'sense of solidarity', and 'sense of emotional closeness'. After analyzing the factors influencing types of sense of community, factors relevant to them are grades, intimate friends, subjective well-being, community volunteer work, college service satisfaction, and so on.
