도시침수 시 도로네트워크가 도시회복도에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Effect of Road Networks on Urban Resilience in Flooding)

  • 홍수는 전 세계적으로 가장 빈번한 자연재해 중 하나로, 국내의 경우 지구온난화의 진행, 불투수면적의 증가, 기존 시가지 내 치수시설 확충의 한계 등 복합적인 요인으로 인하여 도시침수 발생 확률은 크게 증가하고 있다. 하지만 도시침수 방지를 위한 설계홍수량의 상향 및 대규모 토목공사는 사회·경제적으로 전 국민적인 동의를 받기 어렵다. 따라서 자연재해에 대해 지역공동체가 사회·경제적으로 감당 가능한 수준으로 대비를 하되, 신속한 복구를 통해 재해 이후 원래의 상태로 되돌아가는 능력인 회복도의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 이에 도시회복도에 관한 다양한 연구가 수행되어지고 있지만 도시의 필수적인 서비스를 제공하는 라이프라인과 연관된 회복도 측정법은 미비한 상황이다. 특히 라이프라인 중 도로네트워크는 자연재해 발생 시 복구자원 수송과 신속한 복구를 진행하기 위한 중요한 시설인 만큼 도로네트워크는 도시의 회복도를 측정할 때 반드시 고려해야하는 주요 요소이다. 따라서 본 연구는 회복도 특성 및 도로네트워크 기반의 회복도 평가법을 제시하고 도로네트워크가 도시회복도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다.

  • Congestion is a growing concern of many global cities and the demands on Infrastructure services within a locale coupled by the rising expectations from the growing population places stress on these cities. This entails the ability to build a sustainable community that requires an understanding and recognition of Population growth, changing demographics and the ever changing urban development on both a macro and micro level. Infrastructure is an integral part of Australian economy, particularly the 'Infrastructure Assets Management' which highlights the importance towards the development of sustainable communities for Melbourne's future. Melbourne 2030 is a comprehensive representation of government's response to a wide-ranging population growth within Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding areas. Urban plan and specific Infrastructure Assets Planning needs not only to provide sufficient Infrastructure to a community, but it must also be efficient and innovative so that it produces an optimised management system. A system that incorporates engineering techniques that will be sustainable for decades to come by maintaining an acceptable level of services to its intended community in an effective manner, which also strengthens service delivery. The fundamental challenges for optimization of Infrastructure with the Melbourne urban plan is, the ability to manage and sustain maintenance of Infrastructure to provide the acceptable level of service required by the community in a most effective manner which also strengthens service delivery to contribute towards Melbourne 2030. This paper particularly investigates some of the fundamental issues within the Melbourne urban plan such as Infrastructure Asset Management, AusLink and the Australian Road Management Act 2004, which the Governments at all levels must deal with to provide an economically viable solution to the changing Infrastructure so it may suits the needs and services the strategies of a metropolis.

Analysis of Some Desert Ecosystems Vegetation in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Effect of Land Use

  • The present study analyses the effect of land use on the vegetation of some desert ecosystems in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Three sites were selected to represent different types of land use, inside Umm Al-Banadeq forest, outside the forest and along Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Trucks Road. In total, fifty-two stands were examined; including a matrix of 14 species ${\times}$ 52 stands. Based on species cover data, stands were classified using TWINSPAN and ordinated using DCA. Four vegetation groups were generated at level three of classification. Zygophyllum mandavillei was dominant in most vegetation groups; Heliotropium bacciferum dominated vegetation groups inhabited the forest. Species richness, species turnover, relative evenness and relative concentration of dominance of forest vegetation groups were 2.8, 5.7, 0.7, and 2.0, respectively. The differences were attributed to both natural variability and forestry-induced changes, including change in land use, drainage and ploughing and shading by trees. Vegetation group inhabited Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Trucks Road, that were dominated by Haloxylon salicornicum and Zygophyllum mandavillei have high total cover (8.8 m per $m^{-1}$). Most community and vegetation attributes were significantly higher inside the forest than outside. Human interventions and environmental factors affected species diversity and abundance of these communities.

국내 항공기 소음 성가심 조사 설계 시 고려해야 할 변수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Variables of Aircraft Noise Survey in Korea)

  • For the purpose of finding if aircraft noise annoyance response is affected to variables when noise survey is performed, the questionnaire survey is conducted around the Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, Republic of Korea. This residential area is exposed to the aircraft noise and road traffic noise, simultaneously. Research areas are classified according to three different aircraft noise exposure levels expressed in WECPNL, under 75, between 75 and 80, and above 80 WECPNL, on aircraft noise map. The 7-step numerical magnitude with verbal category scales is used to measure the annoyance level. This surrey suggests that aircraft noise annoyance is not affected to an important extent by other noise sources (road traffic noise, community noise) and demographic variables (sex, age, education, occupation, dwelling type, length of residence). Aircraft noise annoyance would be related to complaint activity which is one of attitudinal variables.

조선시대 제주읍성 관덕정 광장의 성격 (The Characteristics of Gwandeokjeong Plaza, Jeju-eupseong, in the Joseon Dynasty)

  • This study examines the spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong (Town-castle) in the Joseon Dynasty. The spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong has distinctive features and regional characteristics that are substantially different from typical eupseong in inland regions. This is mainly attributed to the geographical characteristics of the island and the administrative system with strengthened military functions. Jeju-eupseong displays a distinctive layout of major buildings and road system with a plaza located in its center in comparison with the ones found in inland regions. Gwandeokjeong Plaza in Jeju-eupseong served as the center of Jeju's politics, administration, and culture during the Joseon Dynasty, and it, in the modernization period, has become an open public space in the heart of Old Downtown used for community gatherings. Therefore, this study aims to explore the historical background and distinctive spatial structure of Jeju-eupseong in comparison with eupseong in other parts of Korea. Moreover, the study examines the characteristics of Gwandeokjeong as a plaza that has not been dealt with in other studies of eupseong.

운전재활프로그램이 노인의 인지기능에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Driving Rehabilitation Program on Cognitive Function in Elderly)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this experiment is to find out the effectiveness which exert influence on cognitive skills by using the Driver Rehabilitation program for senior citizens who are over 65 years old and live in Busan. Method : From July first, 2014 to August 28th, 2014, we researched the 60 elderly people who are over 65 and go to community relief center which is in Busan. - 30 are experimental group and the other is control group. In the experimental group, we used Nintendo wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in the model road. For estimation, we used MVPT-3(Motor-Free Visual Perception Test-3), Trail Making Test - 1, Trail making Test - 2 and LOTCA(Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment). Result : Nintendo wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in model road results efficient visual perception ability. This programs results effectively in visual perception ability and space perception ability. This programs results effectively in motor apraxia ability. This programs results effectively in control ability for visual perception. This programs results effectively in thinking operation. Conclusion : Nintendo Wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in model road positively influence improving for visual perceptual ability and cognitive function of elderly people. Also it is considered as being more efficient for improving visual perceptual ability and cognitive function to implement basic rehabilitation training with driving rehabilitation program than basic training itself.

일본군 '위안부' 영화의 자매애와 증언전수 가능성 (The Signification of Sisterhood and Testimony in Japanese Military 'Comfort Women' Films)

  • 한일 위안부 합의 이후 관객들의 관심 속에 소개된 두 편의 영화 <귀향>과 <눈길>은 모두 '위안부' 소녀들의 우정을 다루면서 살아 돌아 온자가 살아 돌아오지 못한 자를 고향과 저승으로 보내는 해원의 이야기를 다루었다. 기존의 '위안부' 서사들과는 다르게, 이 두 영화는 '위안부' 여성의 전장에서의 로맨스 플롯을 가지고 있지 않으며, 일종의 여성공간을 구축하고 있다. 현실에서의 새로운 젊은 여성의 존재는 개인적 우정의 이야기를 자매애의 공동체 차원으로 확장시킨다. 특히 <눈길>은 '위안부' 할머니가 새로운 후속 세대 여성에게 증언을 전수하는 증언작업의 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 영화적 현재에서는, 이렇듯 일본군 '위안부' 서사를 여성주의적으로 사고할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주고 있지만, 과거 식민지 시절의 재현은 많은 부분 기존의 가부장제적인 민족주의적 관점을 벗어나고 있지 못하다. 주인공들이 여전히 '순수하고 순결한' 조선소녀들로 설정되어 있다는 것이 대표적이다.

해사안전기술의 대개도국 이전을 위한 로드맵 작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Road Map for Transfer of Maritime Safety Technology)

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)와 세계 해운계는 해양환경 보호 빚 해상안전 확보를 위해 각종 국제협약을 사행하고 있으나, 해양사고에 의한 인명, 재산, 환경의 피해는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 해양 사고의 주요 요인은 많은 개발도상국들이 해사안전기술을 갖추지 못해 IMO에서 요구하고 있는 국제협약을 이행하지 못한 것으로 분석된다. 우리나라는 과거 수원국가에서 최초로 대개도국 지원국가(DAC)에 참여하여, 대개 도국 지원정책을 강화하고 있다. 그러나 해안 대개도국 지원업무는 농어촌 개발 및 사회간접자본 확충 등에 치중하였으며, 해양안전부문은 극히 미흡하였다. 그러나 우리나라는 세계 10위권의 해운국가로 부상하고 IMO A그룹의 이사국으로 피선됨에 따라 개도국의 해양안전 및 환경보호를 위한 지원압력이 국제사회로부터 가중되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해사안전기술의 대개도국 이전을 위한 로드맵의 작성방안과 이행전략으로서 개도국 수요조사, 자금확보, 조직, 인식제고 등을 제시하였다.

Cooperation-Aware VANET Clouds: Providing Secure Cloud Services to Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

  • Over the last couple of years, traditional VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc NETwork) evolved into VANET-based clouds. From the VANET standpoint, applications became richer by virtue of the boom in automotive telematics and infotainment technologies. Nevertheless, the research community and industries are concerned about the under-utilization of rich computation, communication, and storage resources in middle and high-end vehicles. This phenomenon became the driving force for the birth of VANET-based clouds. In this paper, we envision a novel application layer of VANET-based clouds based on the cooperation of the moving cars on the road, called CaaS (Cooperation as a Service). CaaS is divided into TIaaS (Traffic Information as a Service), WaaS (Warning as a Service), and IfaaS (Infotainment as a Service). Note, however, that this work focuses only on TIaaS and WaaS. TIaaS provides vehicular nodes, more precisely subscribers, with the fine-grained traffic information constructed by CDM (Cloud Decision Module) as a result of the cooperation of the vehicles on the roads in the form of mobility vectors. On the other hand, WaaS provides subscribers with potential warning messages in case of hazard situations on the road. Communication between the cloud infrastructure and the vehicles is done through GTs (Gateway Terminals), whereas GTs are physically realized through RSUs (Road-Side Units) and vehicles with 4G Internet access. These GTs forward the coarse-grained cooperation from vehicles to cloud and fine-grained traffic information and warnings from cloud to vehicles (subscribers) in a secure, privacy-aware fashion. In our proposed scheme, privacy is conditionally preserved wherein the location and the identity of the cooperators are preserved by leveraging the modified location-based encryption and, in case of any dispute, the node is subject to revocation. To the best of our knowledge, our proposed scheme is the first effort to offshore the extended traffic view construction function and warning messages dissemination function to the cloud.

서울시 유동인구조사자료를 활용한 보행특성 분석: 서울시 5개 생활권역을 중심으로 (Analyzing Pedestrian Characteristics Using the Seoul Floating Population Survey: Focusing on 5 Urban Communities in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 서울시 유동인구조사자료를 토대로 5개 생활권역의 보행특성을 비교 분석하였다. 우선 권역별로 총 보행량, 시간대별 보행량, 조사지점 속성에 따른 보행량의 차이를 분석하고, 다중선형회귀분석을 통해 평일과 주말보행량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하였다. 분석결과, 대부분의 권역에서 중앙선, 버스정류장, 횡단보도가 있는 경우 유동인구가 증가하였으나, 도심권에서는 반대의 현상이 나타났다. 모든 권역에서 상업지역은 보행의 유발요인인 반면, 경사로는 보행의 방해요인인 것으로 나타났다. 회귀분석 결과에 의하면 다양한 통행특성지표, 토지이용지표, 사회적지표 및 조사지점 속성이 유동인구에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 유동인구와 상관성을 보이는 변수는 권역에 따라 다소 상이하였으며, 영향을 미치는 정도도 다름을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 보행량을 종속변수로 하여 영향요인을 규명한 것으로 향후 보행환경 개선을 위한 정책수립시 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
