Public health system for more prevention-oriented health promotion rather than hospital-based curative service, focusing population rather than individual, and comprehensive health management in the local community strongly needs to be constructed to solve major issues on efficiencies and equity problems which Korean healthcare system is facing nowadays. Public health promotes and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. Medical care tries to cure those who have diseases, but public health tries not to become ill and not to be injured. Debates on how we build or rebuild public health system, which is contrasted with medical care system, are needed in Korea, focusing how needs for healthy community and right to health are fulfilled. Public health specialists for practising population health at local community level should be systematically recruited, the function of public health centers should be strengthened, and new government organization should be established for place-based health management.

The purpose of this study is to investigate quality of life in farm households. This study examines some related factors which influence the well-being of the family life among the rural housewives, based on the farm management, household management, the satisfaction of the household and the satisfaction of community. Questionnaires were distributed to the 200 housewives residing in Anseong. The 187 data obtained were analyzed by frequency, percentage and mean. Based on the above findings, it has been found that the role od the rural housewives is very important. Because they works not only at home but also in work. The satisfaction of rural housewives about family living and community is very low. In order to improve work, work course should be mechanized. If greater attentions should be directed to the satisfaction of leisure activities, the quality of family life could be improved and stabilized.

Recently there have been increasing demands and desire for the urban open space due to urban development or environmental deterioration. Urban natural parks in Seoul provide citizens with comfortable open space and thus play an important role as learning spaces to experience nature and understand the environment. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze existing vegetation and provide basic data for the conservation and management plans of urban natural parks and education programs. The contents of the study encompass natural environment such as topography, altitude, slope and aspect and botanical ecosystem including the structure of plant communities and tree growth. According to the result of topography analysis, the overall altitude was not high but the slope was relative steep. Vegetation of Seoo Royal Tomb, a urban natural park has been classified into 12 types, and they include; Quercus acutissima community(lowland type), Quercus acutissima community(valley type), quercus variabilis community, Quercus mongolica community, Castanea crenata community, Capinus laxiflora community, Pinus densiflora community(lowland type), Pinus densiflora community(slope type), Robinia pseudo-acacia community, Populos$\times$albaglandulosa community, Pinus rigida community, and Pinus koraiensis community. Based on the survey and analysis results, we have classified the study area into conservation, buffer, and utilization zones for the effective management. This study provides basic data to support the establishment of master plans for urban natural parks by analyzing vegetation conditions at Seoo Royal Tomb, an urban natural park, Based on the results presented in the study, consistent monitoring work needs to be conducted, and elaborate management plans also should be prepared.

The purposes of this study were to investigate vegetation structure and present management planning of mountain type green space using the green space changes during the 20 years, actual vegetation, and plant community structure in land area of Inchon, Korea. The actual vegetation area in survey sites was consisted of Quercus acutissima community, Robinia pseudoacacia forest, Pinus rigida forest, Q. mongolica-Pinus rigida community, P. rigida-Q. mongolica community, Q. monogolica community and so on. According to the classification by TWINSPAN, 61 survey plots were divided into 9 groups; Q. mongolica-Alnus japonica-R. pseudoacacia-P. densiflora, R. pseudoacacia-Styrax japonica, P. rigida-R. pseudoacacia-Q. mongolica, R. pseudoacacia-P. rigida-Q. mongolica-A. hirusta, Q. mongolica-P. thunbergii, and prunus sargentii-Zelkova serrata community. From this result, ecological succession trend of vegetation seems to be change from artificial result, ecological succession trend of vegetation seems to be change from artificial planting forest to native plant community which was dominated by Quercus spp.. This study area need to manage for the increase of biodiversity through the restoration of naturalness by ecological management of artificial planting forest and ecological planting of injured green space.

This qualitative case study focused on two types of livable, family-friendly communities and their activities. The landscaping, the community library, and the Dongbu Apartment Residents' Committee were examined in relationship to the everyday lives of the community's residents through observation and an in-depth interview. The experiences and thoughts of two representatives and four volunteers were described in detail. This study implies the importance of activity as well as a visible effort to improve quality of life. Further, it implies the necessity of a long-tenn perspective and commitment to developing a livable community base with strategies consistent with integrity and the values of everyday life. Above all, we researchers emphasize the most important factor of the livable community is the third sector; a public space based on everyday life located between a structurally separate work space and family space.

As the Internet establishes and reinforces connections between people, virtual community is becoming one of considerable business model. We believe that benefits of the virtual community go to both customer and vendor organizing virtual community. Despite the explosive growth of virtual communities on the Internet, empirical research has been focused to study the issues related to characteristics of virtual community The objective of this study is to enhance the understanding about virtual communities as an e-business model by Customer Relation Management and by empirically validating their effect on the performance of website. Through path analysis, we find support for relations behavior influence the online commitment. we also find that the online commitment enhance the organization citizenship behavior. Finally, we discuss several theoretical and practical Implications, and suggest limitations for research and future research issue.

Nowadays, apartment is become a representative residential pattern. With these tendency, the concern about the apartment community in order to recover the dreary relationship with neighbors which is one of theproblem of the modern society and supplement of insufficien space of the community. However, this kind of community facirlities programs aren't individualized and it's operation is so paltry that it's actuasituation is no more than a simplesupply. Therefore, this study selected two cases of the apartments which are similar in size of number of families and construction year among winners of an excellent apartment award. I would like to focus on actual conditions of operation and use of the community facilities in management sides' view attempted a comparative analysis.

This study aims to identify service factors that satisfy customers in the internet shopping mail context. The study examines the relationship between service qualify and customer satisfaction, and explores the moderating role of the internet community type (i. e., transaction community group, interest community group and fantasy community group). By analyzing 188 questionnaires, we found that out of the five service quality dimensions, only reliability, tangibility, assurance and responsiveness dimensions have positive effects on customer satisfaction. We also found that there is a significant difference in the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction by the perceived type of internet community implications of the findings and future research directions are discussed.

This study shows how community can support the work-family balance and stimulate efforts of community within it. For this purpose, community concepts are defined and its demands and resources are compared with those of work and the family, Furthermore, it will examine the conditions which individuals, couples and neighborhoods need for work since the family balance is examined through the family-friendly community index. Various examples of volunteer activities or movements within the community that will support the work-family balance of the neighbors are also demonstrated. Also, the alternatives fur healthy family support activities in Korea are suggested.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of news literacy in the relationship between sense of community and political efficacy. This study conducted a survey targeting the MZ generation. The survey was conducted online, and data from 309 cases were used for analysis. The research results are as follows. As a result of correlation analysis between sense of community, political efficacy, and news literacy, it was found that there was a statistically significant correlation between sense of community and news literacy sub factors. Second, the relationship between sense of community and political efficacy was found to have a significant positive effect on political efficacy as sense of community increased. Third, the relationship between sense of community and news literacy was confirmed to have a significant positive effect on news literacy as sense of community increased. Fourth, regarding the relationship between news literacy and political efficacy, it was confirmed that news literacy has a significant effect on political efficacy. Fifth, in the relationship between sense of community and political efficacy, news literacy was found to mediate the relationship between sense of community and political efficacy of the MZ generation. Based on the research results, news literacy education is required from the perspective of civic education, and differentiated educational contents by age are proposed.
