Mobile communication technology is advancing forward to deliver more connected devices and richer content and applications. The number of subscriptions continues to grow along with an explosive increase in the mobile data traffic demand. Thereby, it creates a significant network capacity shortage concerns for mobile network operators. In order to address this problem, it is essential to increase the network capacity at a low additional cost. The device-to-device (D2D) communication based proximity service is believed to have a promising future mobile communication technology that is capable to create new mobile service opportunities and offload traffic to the eNB. In addition, it is also required to develop new mobile communication services and its business models not only to accommodate the increasing mobile traffic demand but also to foster profitability of mobile business service providers such as the network providers, contents providers and platform providers. In this article, we first analyze current mobile business eco-system in the context of CPNT based value chain. Then, propose service development framework and business model creation methodologies for the device-to-device communication based services in the beyond LTE/LTE-Advanced systems.

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate communication and service quality on loyalty mediating satisfaction. The population of this study is 384 Islamic bank customers in North Sumatra. This research is quantitative research using the survey method. The number of research samples was 384 customers. Characteristics of this research sample were (1) Savings customers who actively carried out transactions in Islamic banks (2) Savings customers who had used bank services for at least 1 year (3) Savings customers who used services directly and individually. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (SEM-PLS) analysis technique, using Warp-PLS 3.0 software. This study investigates the largest Islamic banks in North Sumatra, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BNI Syariah, and Bank BRI Syariah. The results show that company communication has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, company communication has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, service quality has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. There is also a significant effect of satisfaction on the relationship between company communication and loyalty, and the relationship between service quality and loyalty. This study contributes to Islamic banking to increase customer loyalty.

Recently there are increasing needs for Internet and various kinds of contents. These traffics for various contents need more amount of data to provide high-quality information and require various QoS depending on the characteristics of contents. However, current Internet service supports BE (Best Effort) service only, therefore IntServ (Integrated Service) scheme and DiffSserv (Differentiated Service) scheme are represented to support QoS in IP layer. This paper describes new scheme that provides QoS taking into account the traffic characteristics over Mobile IPv6 network based on IEEE 802.11e by decreasing signal process time using traffic class of DiffServ and evaluates the performance through computer simulation.

Because shore(ship) to ship(shore) communication service via INMARSAT pay expensive cost, satellite service typically use two stage service that land users dial up LES(Land Earth Station) for sending or receiving message. In order to send and receive message, land users must maintain online state with LES on dedicated line. Also, two stage INMARSAT communication service must consume long time that processes step by step. In case of large company, they have own communication system, but small companys communicate simple messages with only telex. This paper describes the design and implementation of an integrated communication services via INMARSAT-C. This system uses inexpensive INMARSAT-C for transmission between ship and land. Because this system provides web and E-Mail interface, users send and receive messages easily and quickly. This system provides most users with inexpensive and easy communication facilities between ship and land.

In Korea, the special seats for vulnerable users such as the elderly and pregnant woman are provided. However, the usage of seats is very low due to the ignoring or lack of recognition about pregnant woman even though pregnant woman approaches the seat. In this paper, we first consider the problem of special seats for pregnant woman and propose the wireless communication based pregnant alarm service which announces approaching of pregnant woman when pregnant woman moves toward the seats for pregnant woman. First, the service concept and scenario are introduced. Then, we deal with wireless communication technologies which provides the alarm service and their properties. In addition, we discuss implementation issues for realizing the proposed system.

The Rich Communication Service(RCS) is a next generation mobile messaging service. Since it has been developed and managed by a wireless service provider, 3rd party application developers cannot utilize the RCS features in their apps. A few studies have been proposed to solve this problem, even though they were not viable level of deployment. This paper presents a Web-based Rich Communication Service Software Framework(WebRSF) to help the 3rd party application developers adopt RCS features easily. WebRSF converts complicated RCS protocols to simple web-based protocols for providing the RCS 1-to-1 chat service to the 3rd parties. Communication protocols between WebRSF and its clients are defined in this paper. Also, a network configuration diagram and a message flow diagram are defined. Finally, performance evaluation between the WebRSF client and the RCS client are performed to simulate the load on clients' devices. It shows that the WebRSF client has 17% less loads than the RCS client while initiating sessions, and has 25% more loads after initiating sessions.

Since the third generation (3G) mobile communication service has been launched by most mobile communication operators in Korea, the portion of data service in mobile communication service becomes one of the most important factors in mobile communication service market. In past mobile communication market, most mobile communication operators made their profit mostly from voice communication service. However, the portion of profit from data service has gradually increased based on both video phone call and mobile Internet service. In this situation, LG telecom launched the full browsing mobile Internet service. This service provides a new type of mobile Internet service platform which enables to access the World Wide Web using mobile browsers, so we generally access the Web using web browsers in the desktop computer. Under the open network structure of mobile Internet like situation, it is very important to analyze the factors which can affect the competition between mobile communication service companies. So, in this paper, we first present the current state of full browsing service, followed by the expectation of its growth potentials and barriers. Then, we analyze the advantages and disadvantage of LG telecom as a first-mover and SK telecom/KTF as followers. Finally, based on this analysis, we predict the future competition among these companies and the market.

Event notification service is a event-based messaging middleware service needed for various vertical domains, such as, business applications, distributed system management, and web service integration. In this paper, we investigate the architecture of an event notification service that includes a subject-based event dissemination service and a flexible message communication service. The event dissemination service is in charge of transferring events asynchronously but speedy according to the subjects of events and their environmental knowledge. It also includes content-based message filtering. The message communication service provides a common communication infrastructure supporting variety types of messages and variety of protocols. Depending on application domains and situation, we can re-configurate the communication infrastructure in order to optimize the efficiency and usability. This paper shows the performance analysis of our event notification service with various types of message formats and protocols.

As the paradigm of communications changes from technology-centered service provision to human-centric services, the future wireless communication systems is expected to be able to provide user-centric customized and optimized services. In order to cope with such paradigm shift in communications, various research activities on next generation mobile communication systems are being carried by a number of international organization and research centers to take initiative in future ubiquitous wireless communication environment. In this paper we propose a generic research and development framework consisting of four different research and development phases, a vision and strategy establishment phase, a service development phase, a service reference model creation phase and future service foresight phase. In particular, we give prospect of future ubiquitous wireless communication services covering different service areas of future life style based on our research frameworks.

In this paper, it propose channel format, characteristics, call establishment and removal algorithm about the telex services of maritime satellite communication system. It would adapt the propose to a basic technic of internal maritime affairs satellite communication system.
