The increasing use of Ethernet-TCP/IP network in industry has led to the growing interest in its reliability in real-time applications such as automated manufacturing systems and process control systems. However, stochastic behavior of its medium access scheme makes it inadequate for time-critical applications. In order to guarantee hard real-time communication service in Ethernet-TCP/IP network, we proposed an algorithm running over TCP/IP protocol stack without modification of protocols. In this paper, we consider communication services guaranteeing deadlines of periodic real-time messages over MAC protocols that have unbounded medium access time. We propose a centralized token scheduling scheme for multiple access networks. The token is used to allow a station to transmit its message during the time amount that is appended to the token. The real-time performance of the proposed algorithm has been described.

This paper proposes to design the residential power line communication device using Softwire Protocol, which targets the device with 8bit micro-controller and small-size memory based on low-rate power line communication network or wireless communication network. As a case study, the SCP message specification of air-conditioner that has capability of control and monitoring its status is designed using Softwire Protocol. And, it is described how the device operates sequentially.

Advertising is a communication that aims to persuade you through communication. Local governments are enforcing a lot of budget for outdoor advertisements and exposing advertisements to various media. However, in the case of outdoor advertisements, advertisements are executed without considering the specificity of the exposure environment, so it is inferior to the budget input. Therefore, this study aims to help local advertisement agents, producers, and related parties by classifying components by combining video analysis methodology and video ad analysis methodology for effective message delivery and immersion in local outdoor advertising. As a discussion to provide an efficient production methodology for outdoor advertising video production in the future, it is an extension of exploratory research through content analysis.

Continuous improvements of network infrastructures and mobile data offloading strategies are among the solutions of cellular providers to cope with the increase in mobile data demand. These options requires a lot of cost and time to implement. Few researches have been conducted to assess the applicability of Pocket Switched Network (PSN) to support mobile data offloading. In this paper, we present a PSN mobile data-offloading scheme that utilizes mobile users with available connectivity to deliver content-aware data to other mobile users. This paper also aims to evaluate the applicability and feasibility of PSN routing schemes to improve the current strategies in mobile data offloading. The simulation results show admirable results in terms of message delivery and latency.

기존의 전력량계의 원격 검침을 위한 DLMS/COSEM(Device Languag Message Specification / Companion Specification for Energy Meters) 시스템에서의 실제 송, 수신되는 데이터를 수집하여 이를 표현 및 분석 할 수 있는 프로그램을 구현하여 이로 하여금 실제 검침원에게 시스템에서의 송 수신되는 데이터의 흐름을 한 눈에 볼 수 있게 하였다. 또한 데이터의 실제 값 들을 분석하여 이틀을 가시적으로 볼 수 있어 오류 발생 시에 세부적으로 데이터를 분석하여 오류 원인을 찾아 낼 수 있다.

Common Channel Signaling(CCS) networks need special controls to avoid overload of signaling networks and degradation of call process-ing rate, since they play an important role of controlling communication transfer networks. Congestion control and flow control mechanisms are well described in ITU-T recommendation on Signaling System No.7(SS7). For the practical provisions, however, we need an analysis on the relation among service objects, system requirements and implementation of congestion control algorithms. SS7 provides several options for controlling link congestion in CCS networks. In this paper we give a general queueing model of congestion control algorithm which covers both the international and national options. From the queuing model, we obtain the performance parameters such as throughput, message loss rate and mean delay for the international option. To show the performance of the algorithm, some numerical results are also given.

전화를 통해 인터넷 정보를 들을 수 있는 보이스 포탈(Voice Portal) 서비스가 인기를 얻고 있다. Voice Portal 서비스란 알고자 하는 정보를 Speech Recognition System에 음성으로 명령하면 전화를 통해 음성으로 원하는 정보를 듣는 서비스이다. Authentication의 절차를 수행하는 SMS (Short Message Service) 서버 Module, PSTN과 Database 서버사이의 Interface를 제공하는 CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) Module, CTI 서버와 WWW (World Wide Web) 사이의 Voice XML Module, 정보를 검색하기 위한 Searching Module들이 필요하다. 본 논문은 Speech Recognition technology를 기반으로 한 CTI Module 설계를 구현하였다. 또한 인정 방식으로 Random한 일회용 password를 기반으로 한 SMS Authentication을 택하므로 더욱 더 안정된 서비스 제공을 목적으로 하였다.

Vehicular Adhoc Network는 accident warning, road condition message와 같은 도로상의 정보를 vehicle-to-vehicle 통신을 통해 주어진 목적지까지 얼마나 빠르고 정확하게 전송하는 것이 주요 이슈이다. 무선 센서 네트워크의 많은 타입들 중에서 VANET 환경에 적합한 source 기반의 라우팅 프로토콜은 불안정한 이동 네트워크의 역할을 충실히 수행할 수 있다. Source 라우팅 기법들을 연구하는데 road topology와 map 정보가 사용되며, 본문에서는 도로의 상황과, 라우팅이 직접 수행되는 영역을 부분으로 나누어 각 영역에 속한 이동 노드를 파악하여 다중 경로 라우팅 방안을 제시하여 error 발생과 link fail에 대한 신속한 대처를 수행한다.

PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)의 발달과 함께 전자서명의 필요성 또한 대두되고 있다. 전자서명이 무선 PKI환경에서도 사용되기 위해서는 최소한의 서명 생성 검증 시간과 적은 저장 공간, 적은 대역폭의 사용 등의 조건을 만족해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 서명 생성 검증 시간을 줄여주기 위해서 타원곡선 상의 연산을 이용하고, 대역폭의 감소를 위해서 서명의 크기를 최소화해서 보내줄 수 있는 복원형 전자서명에 대해서 알아볼 것이다.

정보보호 평가는 크게 시스템 평가인 CC(Common Criteria)평가와 암호모듈 평가인 CMVP(Cryptographic Module Validation Program)평가로 나눌 수 있다. 본 논문은 국내 표준 암호 알고리즘 SEED를 북미의 CMVP의 3가지 블록 알고리즘 시험방법인 KAT(Known Answer Test), MCT(Monte C미개 Test), MMT(Multi-block Message Test)를 JAVA환경에 적용하여 시범 구현하였다. 테스트 방법으로 CMVP의 MOVS, TMOVS, AESAVS를 선정하여 FIPS 표준을 적용하였다. 구현 환경으로는 JCE기반의 Cryptix를 채택하여 CMVP의 블록 암호 알고리즘 테스트 시스템 중 일부를 구현하였다.
