Wireless network design for construction of atmospheric and marine environment monitoring system using buoy

  • It has used buoy for efficient domestic farm operations and fishermen fish. Buoy uses IoT-based communication to transmit water temperature, salinity, humidity, wind speed, etc. to fishers in real time. In this paper, we utilize LoRa, which enables communication in the marine environment, to construct a network and apply it to an actual buoy for monitoring. The implemented LoRa uses the 900MHz band to configure the network. The sensor consisted of a sensor that can monitor the atmospheric environment and a sensor that can monitor the marine environment. In addition, the information received in real time will be provided to the fishing village host. The fishermen were fully aware of this and took appropriate measures to conduct sea trials.

  • In the software industry of Korean Small and Medium-sized Enterprise(SME)s, the development process is often not mature. This may lead to failures in quality control and output management. As a result, the quality of the software can be degraded. To solve the problem, the software visualization technique, which is from the National IT Industry Promotion Agency Software Engineering Center can be applied. We have experienced with mentoring not only the visualization of software development process, but also various visualization process of SMEs. However, the existing software visualization method was difficult to install environment and its time cost was high. This paper proposes a software visualization environment through a cloud service along with a case of building a software visualization environment. We expect that this method will make it easier to build a visualization environment and improve the quality of SME software.

부모-자녀간 의사소통과 청소년의 자아존중감 및 사회성 발달과의 관계 (The Relationship among the Parent-Adolescent Communication, Adolescents Self-Esteem, and Social Development)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among parent-adolescent communication, adolescents self-esteem, social development, and home environment. Home environment includes sex, father's vocations, mother's employments, parents educational level, and religions. 275 adolescents (186 males and 89 females students) were selected from middle schools in Seoul. The results indicated that there was no significant difference in parent-adolescent communication, adolescents self-esteem and social development according to environmental factors, such as parents' age, educational level, and religions. Also adolescents self-esteem was highly correlated with parent-adolescent communication, especially with mother-adolescent open communication. Finally, adolescent development of sociality was highly correlated with parent-adolescent communication, but not significant relationship with mother-adolescent reverse-functional communication.

APEC SEN Maritime English Communication Packages

  • As the importance of maritime communication in a cross-cultural onboard working environment grows, the importance of developing systematic supporting aids both for learning and teaching maritime English has been emphasized. Given that English communication proficiency is one of the most critical factors in determining a seafarer's competency, a systemic supporting system for enhancing maritime English communication capabilities is essential not only for them to professionally carry out and conduct assigned duties onboard, but also for them to navigate success in their lives through increased labour mobility both at sea and onshore. The APEC Seafarers Excellence Network initiates the production of Maritime English Communication Packages for seafarers in APEC regions, under the leadership of the Republic of Korea. This paper introduces the design of APEC SEN Maritime English Communication Packages, which include textbooks, audio-lingual materials, online/mobile life-long learning platform and testing aids, ultimately for upand re-skilling of seafarers to increase their employability, mobility and preparedness for the future shipping industry where globalisation is expected to further accelerate.

A New Communication Network Model for Chat Agents in Virtual Space

  • Internet chat programs and instant messaging services are becoming increasingly popular among Internet users. One of the crucial issues with Internet chat is how to manage the corresponding pairs of questions and answers in a sequence of conversations. Although many novel methodologies have been introduced to cope with this problem, most are poor in managing interruptions, organizing turn-taking, and conveying comprehension. The Internet environment is recently evolving into a 3D environment, but the problems with managing chat dialogues with the standard 2D text-based chat have remained. Therefore, we propose a more realistic communication model for chat agents in 3D virtual space in this paper. First, we propose a new method to measure the capacity of communication between chat agents and a novel visualization method to depict the hierarchical structure of chat dialogues. In addition, we are concerned with communication networks for virtual people (avatars) living in virtual worlds. In this paper we consider a microscopic aspect of a social network in a relatively short period of time. Our experiments show that our model is highly effective in a virtual chat environment, and the communication network based on our model greatly facilitates investigation of a very large and complicated communication network.

  • 본 연구에서는 새로운 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 세일즈 프로모션의 의미와 성장 배경을 검토하고 향후 방향을 예측하여 보았다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 마케팅 환경에서의 세일즈 프로모션의 성장 배경으로 체험 마케팅, 개인 마케팅, 미디어 크리에이티브, 바이럴 마케팅에 대해 분석하였다. 또한 미래 세일즈 프로모션의 방향으로 브랜드 커뮤니케이션, 소비자 브랜드 관계, ICT 활용, 통합 마케팅 커뮤니케이션을 예측하여 보았다. 본 연구는 새로운 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 세일즈 프로모션의 변화하는 기능을 분석하고 향후 진행 방향을 예측해본다는 의미를 가진다.

Sparse M2M 환경을 위한 DTMNs 라우팅 프로토콜 (Sparse DTMNs routihg protocol for the M2M environment)

  • Recently, ICT technology has been evolving towards an M2M (Machine to Machine) environment that allows communication between machine and machine from the communication between person and person, and now the IoT (Internet of Things) technology that connects all things without human intervention is receiving great attention. In such a network environment, the communication network between object and object as well as between person and person, and person and object is available which leads to the sharing of information between all objects, which is the essential technical element for us to move forward to the information service society of the era of future ubiquitous computing. On this paper, the protocol related to DTMNs in a Sparse M2M environment was applied and the improved routing protocol was applied by using the azimuth and density of the moving node in order to support a more efficient network environment to deliver the message between nodes in an M2M environment. This paper intends to verify the continuity of the study related to efficient routing protocols to provide an efficient network environment in the IoT and IoE (Internet of Everything) environment which is as of recently in the spotlight.

외래병동간호사와 병동간호사의 의사소통능력과 간호전문직관, 업무환경 및 직무만족도 비교 (A Comparative Study on Communicatioin Competence, Nursing Professionalism, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction between Outpatient Nurses and Ward Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare communication competence, nursing professionalism, work environment and job satisfaction between outpatient nurses and ward nurses, and to identify the correlation among variables. Methods: The participants were 90 outpatient nurses and 98 ward nurses at the two general hospitals. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, independent t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: There were statistically significant differences between two groups in nursing professionalism, possibilities for development, commitment to the workplace, social support from colleagues, social community at work and job satisfaction, outpatient nurses showed higher level than ward nurses except commitment to the workplace. The work environment variables and nurses' job satisfaction were mostly correlated. Job satisfaction showed significant negatively correlated with quantitative demands, emotional demands and role conflicts in both groups nurses. Conclusion: These findings showed that nursing work environments were the most important factor for job satisfaction of both group nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to put efforts in improving nursing work environment and to develop diverse strategies for human resource management.

위성통신 환경에서 전파수신감도를 활용한 도심지 최적경로탐색 알고리즘 (Optimal Path Search Algorithm for Urban Applying Received Signal Strength on Satellite Communication Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 위성과 모바일기기 간의 전파수신감도를 활용한 최적경로탐색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 일반적인 경로탐색은 최단경로를 기반으로 하기 때문에 위성을 이용하는 모바일기기의 안정적인 멀티미디어 서비스 제공이 어렵다. 제안된 알고리즘은 전파수신감도를 기반으로 하는 경로탐색을 통해 안정적인 통신환경의 제공을 목적으로 한다. 위성통신에서 수신환경에 따라 전파수신감도 변화가 심하기 때문에 수신환경의 특성을 정확하게 분석하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 전파감쇠 요인으로 대기감쇠, 수풀감쇠, 건물에 의한 감쇠 등을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석하고 전파수신감도로 활용한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 도심지에서 위성을 활용한 안정적인 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위한 최적경로를 찾을 수 있다.

무정차 다차로 기반의 통신시스템 개발 (Communication System development based on Free Flow, Multi Lane)

  • 단차로 하이패스시스템의 지 정체로 인한 교통 혼잡, 안전사고, 유지보수 등 매년 발생하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 무정차 다차로 고속주행기반 시스템의 개발이 필요하게 되었다. 하이패스 통신시스템은 단차로 환경에서 선입선출 방식이므로, 다차로 환경에서 발생하는 군집주행 및 차로전환 등 다양한 주행패턴을 처리할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는, 기존의 하이패스 단말기를 수용하면서 다차로 주행이 가능한 통신시스템을 개발했다. 능동형 RF/IR 통신 안테나를 이용해 중첩 영역은 넓히고, 오류범위를 최소화 하는 기술을 구현했다. 체험도로를 다차로 실 환경처럼 구축하여 테스트한 결과 하이패스시험기준을 통과했을 뿐 아니라, 속도별, 차로별, 차로전환별 주행시험 및 단말기 위치별 시험 결과 통신 정확도도 99.9%로 하이패스시스템의 성능을 만족했다. 무정차 다차로를 위한 통신시스템은 향후 고속도로 및 유료도로에서도 사용할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 주차장에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
