Tree network consisting of communicating processors is considered. The objective is to minimize the computation time by distributing the processing load to other nodes. The effect of the order of load distribution on the processing time is addressed. An algorithm which optimally determines the order of load distribution is developed. It is shown that the order depends only on the channel capacity between nodes but not on the computing capability of each node.

We report a unique case of a neonate with an epidural hematoma induced by vacuum extraction. The epidural hematoma, communicating with a cephalhematoma through a linear skull fracture, disappeared after ultrasound-guided needle aspiration. The patient quickly recovered and one month later computed tomography revealed a complete resolution of the epidural hematoma.

Among varieties of the mediastinal tumors, benign developmental cysts [Entergenous cysts] occur about 10% of them. From the primitive foregut, tracheobronchial tree and esophagus develop at 3 weeks of its embryonal age, and bronchogenic cyst arises from accessory or supernumerary lung bud. Usually it remains isolated with surrounding structures, and causes no specific symptoms. But few cases of bronchogenic cysts have fistulous communication with esophagus causing compressive symptoms. We report a case of unusual complicated case of bronchogenic cyst with review of literatures.

We report a rare case of tension pneumocephalus after eyebrow surgery for the treatment of a saccular aneurysm at posterior communicating artery. The patient's consciousness was suddenly aggravated due to the tension pneumocephalus on fifth postoperative day, which was treated by repairing the frontal sinus. The patient was recovered completely and uneventfully after this revision surgery.

We have experienced a case of 42-year-old woman with congenital broncho-esophageal fistula. The patient had productive coughing since childhood. A barium-swallowing examination showed a lower esophageal diverticulum communicating via a fistula with posterior basal segment of right lower lobe. Bronchography showed bronchiectasis in right middle and lower lobes. At thoracotomy resection of the diverticulum, bronchoesophageal fistula, and right middle and lower lobe of lung were performed. The postoperative course was uneventful.

The key features of our integrated approach to teaching and loaming college mathematics include interactive and discussion-based teaching, small group work, computer as a tool, problem solving approach, open approach, mathematics in context, emphasis on mathematical thinking and creativity, and writing/communicating about mathematics. In this paper we report a few examples to illustrate the type of problems we use in our integrated approach.

IPv6 that is next generation internet was appeared because of the shortage of IPv4 address. In present, there has been studying about the home networking which allocates IPv6 address to home appliances. In this paper, It makes 16bits unicast address using remainder 4bits after making 124bits address using 64bits prefix address of IPv6 and 60bits having the form of E.164 proposed RFC2916, IETF and implemented and designed the home networking communicating home appliances having unique unicast address

Congenital coronary arteriovenous fistulas are uncommon, but well documented lesions. There are two types of congenital coronary arteriovenous fistulas according to drainage sites, the cardiac chambers or the pulmonary trunk. Especially congenital coronary arteriovenous fistula originating from the left coronary artery is rare. Two cases will be described of the two patients in whom fistulas communicating between the right coronary artery and the right atrium, left coronary artery and the main pulmonary artery each other.

We describe two cases of tension pneumocephalus, one caused by ventriculoperitoneal shunt for communicating hydrocephalus, and the other caused by craniocerebral trauma. In the first case report, we examined the relationship between cerebrospinal fluid leakage and delayed onset tension pneumocephalus. The second case report, we addressed issues such as the diagnosis, management, and pathogenesis, as well as computerized tomography(CT) findings.

이산사건 시스템을 기술하는데는 다양한 방법론들이 있으며 event의 관점에서 본다면, event loss 방법론과 event lossless방법론이 있다. event loss방법론의 경우 때때로 원치 않는 event loss가 발생하여 시스템을 deadlock의 상태로 이끌 수가 있으며, 이러한 것을 피하기 위해 본 논문은 event loss방식의 동기식방법론인 DEVS형식론으로 기술된 모델을 본 논문에서 제안하는 TSRG란 방법을 이용하여 event loss의 유무를 해석할 수 있는 기법을 소개하고자 한다. 소개된 해석 기법은 linear programming을 이용하여 해를 구할 수 있으며, DEVS형식론으로 기술된 이산사건 모델들간의 event loss의 유무를 해석함으로써 서로간의 통신 동기화의 가능성 분석을 가능하도록 한다.
