두 대의 압축기를 적용한 에어컨의 오일분배 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study on Uniform Distribution of Oil at the Air Conditioning System using Two Compressors)

  • The common accumulator was designed for solving the maldistribution problem of oil at the air conditioning system with two compressors. The oil level inside two compressors was visualized by using a common accumulator on the various operating conditions. As a result of the visualization, oil distribution inside two compressors was achieved appropriately according to the capacity of each compressor. Uniform distribution of oil was also accomplished at on and off operation condition.

  • Fuel injection system is very important in diesel combustion. Recently electronic control of fuel injection system and common rail systems are introduced to reduce the emission and to increase the energy efficiency from diesel engine by control of the injection timing and duration. In this study, evaluation possibility of the system for electronic control by spool valve, one of the accumulator type injection systems with spool valve using solenoid was composed and the operating characteristics were investigated to evaluate the effects of spring coefficient, initial spring force, solenoid driving time, fuel supply pressure on the injection timing and duration. We could confirm the capability that diesel injection was electronically controlled by spool valve.

  • Computational investigation was conducted to examine the performance of a high pressure common-rail fuel injection system which is used to power a passenger car direct injection (Dl) diesel engine. The pipe flows were modeled by one dimensional wave equation and solved by implicit FDM Each volume of injector was considered as chambers with orifice nozzle in connections. These simulation results were compared with the experimental data of Ganser Hydromag. The comparison of needle life and rate of injection between simulation data and experimental data showed quite a good agreement Different shape of injection rate can be made by adjusting the size of inlet orifice and exit orifice in the piston chamber The pilot injection was accomplished by adjusting command signal.

연료분사계 변수의 변화에 따른 커먼레일 디젤엔진의 분무특성에 관한 수치적 분석 (A Numerical Analysis on the Spray Characteristics at Different Injection System Parameters in a Common-rail Diesel Engine)

  • This paper present the diesel spray characteristics at different injection system parameters in a HSDI diesel engine. The spray characteristics was calculated by the coupled simulation of fuel injection system model and three-dimensional KIVA-3V code with TAB spray model. The relevant injection parameters are accumulator volume, control chamber initial volume, control orifice diameter, needle valve diameter and nozzle chamber initial volume, etc. Parametric investigation with respect to twelve relevant injection parameters showed that there was a significant advantage in varying control chamber initial volume, control chamber orifice diameter, and nozzle chamber orifice diameter with respect to effect the SMD and fuel injection speed. Consequently, in order to design the fuel injection system for spray characteristics, it seems reasonable to suppose to be optimized the fuel injection system.

  • 본 논문에서는 광컴퓨터의 개발에 이용될 수 있는 산술논리연산회로(ALU)를 설계하고 검증한다. 전자회로 기술의 접목이 용이하고 가장 상용화가 잘된 $LiNbO_3$ 광스위칭 소자에 기반한 이 ALU는 산술논리 동작을 실행하는 연산회로, 오퍼런드와 연산결과를 저장하는 메모리 소자 그리고 명령어 선택을 위한 부가회로로 구성되며, 비트 단위 직렬 방식으로 동작하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 또한 설계한 ALU 회로의 정확성을 검증할 수 있는 시뮬레이터를 구현하고, 일련의 기본 명령어들을 순차적으로 실행하면서 메모리와 누산기에 저장된 값의 단계적 변화를 확인하는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 설계한 ALU가 정확함을 보인다.

  • This study presents the experimental study on improvement of frost/defrost performance in an heat pump system with newly developed fin and multiple compressors. As multiple compressors system, the variable and single speed compressor combinations has been introduced and compared with single speed 1-compressor system in a view point of improvement of frost/defrost performance. Also, newly developed corrugate shaped fin has been compared with conventional louver shaped fin. The frost/defrost performance is defined and some parameters are compared to discuss the effect of each combination. From this experimental study, it is known that if the variable and single speed compressor combination system equipped with corrugate shaped fin, the system performance has greatly improved not only for heating capacity, but also for frost performance.

CATHARE2와 RELAP5/MOD3를 이용한 BETHSY 6.2 TC 소형 냉각재상실사고 실험결과의 해석 (Comparison Of CATHARE2 And RELAP5/MOD3 Predictions On The BETHSY 6.2% TC Small-Break Loss-Of-Coolant Experiment)

  • 본 연구에서는 BETHSY 실험장치에서 수행한 6" 소형 냉각재 상실사고(LOCA) 실험을 최적 열수력 코드인 CATHARE2 V1.2와 RELAP5/MOD3를 이용하여 계산했다. 본 연구의 주 목적은 소형 LOCA시 관심을 가지는 주요 물리현상인 이상 임계유동, 감압과정, 노심수위 감소, loop seal clearing 등에 대한 두 코드의 소형 LOCA 계산모의능력을 평가하는 것이다. 두코드는 이상 유동현상의 전개 경향이나 발생시점을 비교적 잘 예측하는 것으로 나타났고, CATHARE2의 경우가 실험과 더 잘 일치했다. 그렇지만 두 코드는 loop seal clearing 현상, loop seal clearing 발생후의 노심수위, accumulator 유량거동 등의 예측에는 약간의 편차를 보였는데, 편차의 정도는 RELAP5가 CATHARE2보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 두 코드의 편차요인을 보다 상세히 분석하기 위하여 계면 마찰력, mesh크기, 파단노즐 junction에서의 방출계수(Discharge coefficient)등에 대하여 민감도분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 CATHARE2의 경우는 계면 마찰력을 증가시킴으로써 감압과정시 일차계통의 질량분포, 즉 증기 발생기 입구 공동(SG inlet plenum)에서의 차압과 Cross√er leg의 차압이 개선되었으며, 증기발생기 외측 열전달계수를 증가시킴으로써 중기발생기의 압력변화를 개선할 수 있었다. RELAP5의 경우는 어떤 하나의 입력변수를 변화시켜서 과도기의 결과를 개선할 수 없었으며 다만, 계면 마찰력 모델링에 여전히 많은 불화실성이 내포되어 있음을 확인했다.확인했다.

  • Minimizing the cylinder wear and the consumption rate of cylinder oil in a large two-stroke diesel engine is of great economic importance. A motor-driven cylinder lubricator for Sulzer RT-flex large two-stroke diesel engines developed by authors is in need of mounting a quill system to lubricate cylinder parts for smoother operation. In order to apply the common-rail lubricating system to the developed cylinder lubricator as the second research stage, the quill system with a progressively quantitative distributor is improved in the electronically controlled quill system with an accumulating distributor. In this study, the effects of lubricator motor speed, plunger stroke and cylinder back pressure on oil feed rate, maximum discharge and delivery pressures are experimentally investigated by using the electronically controlled quill system with an accumulating distributor in the developed cylinder lubricator. It is found that the oil feed rate of the electronically controlled quill system with an accumulating distributor is larger than that of the quill system with a progressively quantitative distributor because of the increase of delivery speed and volume by changing the location of accumulator in the same experimental condition.

A motor-driven cylinder lubricator for Sulzer RT-flex large two-stroke diesel engines developed by authors is in need of mounting a quill system to lubricate cylinder parts for a smooth operation. In order to apply the common-rail lubricating system to the developed cylinder lubricator as the second research stage, the mechanical quill system with a progressively quantitative distributor (M.D.S.) is improved in the electronically controlled quill system with an accumulating distributor (E.D.S.). In this study, the effects of lubricator motor speed, plunger stroke and cylinder back pressure on oil feed rate and inequality rate are experimentally investigated by applying E.D.S. to the developed cylinder lubricator. It is found that the oil feed rate of E.D.S. is higher than that of M.D.S. because of the increase of delivery speed and volume by changing the role of accumulator in the same experimental condition. It can be also shown that, in E.D.S., the inequality rate is decreased a little or hardly unchanged as the cylinder back pressure and plunger stroke is elevated, while the inequality rate increased in M.D.S.. The inequality rates of E.D.S. and M.D.S. are lowered as the lubricator motor speed is increased.
