Objective: Optimizing culture media for the incubation of immature oocytes is a vital strategy to increase the oocyte maturation rate during in vitro maturation (IVM) programs. This study evaluated the IVM and fertilization rates of human germinal vesicle (GV) and metaphase I (MI) oocytes using two different maturation media (commercial and homemade) with or without growth differentiation factor 9-β (GDF9-β). supplementation. Methods: Immature oocytes from intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles were collected and assigned to one of two IVM culture media (commercial or homemade; cleavage-stage base). After maturation, MII oocytes were examined under an inverted microscope for the presence of the polar body, zona pellucida (ZP) birefringence, and meiotic spindle (MS) visualization after maturation in four conditions (commercial or homemade medium, with or without GDF9-β. ICSI was done for matured oocytes, and fertilization was confirmed by the visualization of two distinct pronuclei and two polar bodies. Results: No significant differences were found between the two culture media in terms of the time and rate of oocyte maturation or the rate of fertilization (p>0.05). Growth factor supplementation increased the 24-hour maturation rate for both GV and MI oocytes only in homemade medium. The maturation rate after 24 hours was higher for MI oocytes (p<0.05). Similar results were observed for MS visualization and ZP structure in both types of media (p>0.05). Conclusion: Higher rates of oocyte maturation and fertilization were observed after application of homemade medium supplemented with GDF9-β. Therefore, this combination may be recommended as an alternative for clinical IVM programs.

Active Safety system is requested on the market of the medium and heavy duty commercial vehicle over 4.5ton beside the market of passenger car with advancement of the digital equipment proportionally. Unlike the passenger car, the mounting position of camera in case of the medium and heavy duty commercial vehicle is relatively high, it is disadvantaged conditions for lane recognition in contradiction to passenger car. In this work, we show the method of lane recognition through the Sobel edge, based on the spatial domain processing, Hough transform and color conversion correction. Also we suggest the low error method of front vehicles recognition in order to reduce the detection error through Haar-like, Adaboost, SVM and Template matching, etc., which are the object recognition methods by frontal camera vision. It is verified that the reliability over 98% on lane recognition is obtained through the vehicle test.

Small-to-medium retailers in local neighborhood have been managing to survive without outside influence. However rapid change in business environment including consumer needs for goods and the quality of life has brought turbulence into retail business. Petty retailers are facing a crisis as large-sized discount stores owned by big enterprises are entering into traditional markets. To protect small-to-medium retailers from such threats and revive the traditional commercial markets the government is taking on the policy of subsidizing small-to-medium businesses. However, recent emergence of SSM (an industrialized supermarket in forms of direct management and affiliation) in local commercial areas has brought about conflicts and frictions between large companies and local merchants. Under this background this study attempted to make an analysis of vulnerable factors of small-to-medium retailers coping with SSM and probe for the alternatives to SSM business restructuring.

Commercial banks have a significant impact on the economy of Vietnam because they provide the majority of transactional capital. Therefore, the operational efficiency of commercial banks is a viral topic for the study of the Vietnamese banking system. The research aims to examine the efficiency and inefficiency of joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam from 2016 to 2020 and then classify them into the efficient group and inefficient group. The study employs the time series data of 29 joint-stock commercial banks during the period 2016-2020. Based on the data collected from the annual audited financial statements of 29 Vietnamese joint-stock commercial banks, the authors select input and output variables for the standard DEA models and anti-efficient DEA models. This research uses two stages, first, by applying the standard DEA model, we investigate the efficient banks; second, by employing the anti-efficient DEA model, we find out the inefficient banks. The results reveal that the average efficiency score of 29 joint-stock commercial banks tends to increase in the period 2016-2018 and decrease gradually in the period 2019-2020. The findings of this study suggest that several small and medium-sized banks in the Vietnamese banking sector have both promising and risky performances and the efficiency of state-owned commercial banks has also improved significantly during the study period.

Purpose: We would like to identify the appropriate size of stores in the commercial district suitable for the era of low growth. In addition, it is intended to present alternatives to prevent gentrification along with measures to revitalize commercial districts according to the selection of appropriate stores. Research design, data and methodology: The importance and commercial district usage patterns were identified through surveys by consumers and sellers. the demand and size of the commercial area were calculated based on the floating population and resident registration population. In addition, based on this, through metric analysis, the importance of the business district activation plan and what important matters can prevent gentrification were analyzed. Result: In this the study, 555 stores are currently operating in the target area, but it is seen as a commercial district with a scale that can operate 136 stores and 938 stores. In addition, it was analyzed that the Commercial Lease Protection Act needs to be strengthened to prevent gentrification. Conclusions: Due to the nature of small and medium-sized cities in Korea, commercial districts that have once lost their resilience must take much effort to find vitality. It is believed that local commercial districts will have resilience when diagnosis and recovery measures are adequately presented.

Purpose - This study reviews the achievements of a pilot project for the revitalization of a commercial district performed for three years after its establishment in 2011. The project for the revitalization of the commercial district was performed to create a new local community space in connection with the traditional market and nearby districts. Although it was a pilot project, the project for the revitalization of the commercial district has been performed for almost three years. Therefore, this seems a proper time to conduct an interim evaluation of the project. This study aims to review and evaluate how the government support policy is influential for the revitalization of the commercial district. In other words, this research aims to identify what projects positively affected consumers' intention to revisit the downtown commercial area among the commercial district revitalization projects-promotion events, promotion activities, education, merchants cooperation system, IT projects, cultural events, and residents' communication. Research design, data, and methodology - This study designated seven management improvement projects affecting commercial district revitalization based on preceding studies. The survey of the degree of satisfaction on seven management improvement projects was executed targeting consumers who visited the commercial areas. Additionally, visitors' revisit intentions regarding currently visited commercial areas were also investigated. Therefore, revisit intention was set as a dependent variable and the satisfaction degrees of the respective management improvement projects were set as the independent variables. A total of 1,209 consumers were examined in six districts in the country. Result - Multiple regression analysis results showed that cultural events, education, the merchants' cooperation system, and IT projects brought statistically significant effects to the revisit intentions of consumers. In contrast, promotion events, resident communication projects, and promotion activities did not affect the revisit intentions of consumers. Particularly, the residents' communication project did not show significant influence because of consumers' recognition that it is similar to a cultural event. Conclusion - The following implications for the revitalization of business districts in the urban central area are drawn. From a general perspective, the businesses of culture, education, and cooperative system among seven businesses play positive roles regarding the intention to revisit so that the project is required to be promoted periodically through unique performances differentiated for each district, the merchant training reinforced for professionalism, and the expansion of joint events of merchants. Moreover, the sales promotion project and public relations activity are shown to be not influential to the intention to revisit. Therefore, while short-term sales promotion such as one-time gift events are required, sales promotion and public relation activities to induce revisits by mileage savings and accumulated gift presentation to attract long-term customers are required. The IT business is positively influential to the intention of revisit. Therefore, detailed information on the revitalized commercial district should be provided and additional functions such as discount coupons for continuous utilization should be included in the mobile app and the website.

The objective of commercial space design is not only to sell goods but also provide customer experience so called 'Experience marketing'. Therefore, companies are in search for various methods to give special customer experience and interior design is being considered as an important tool. For example, providing catharsis through commercial interior design, or bringing In the concept of hands-on exhibition into sales area relate to affirmative images of specific products or brands. Graphics in various methods has now become important interior design medium of expression. Therefore the study investigates graphical methods that appear in interior space such as objet, frame, optical illusion, moire and information transmission. It also analyzes their applications and roles in commercial spaces as major element in establishing spatial identity.

This study aims for proposing improvement method for streetscape in a small and medium city of Korea. According to this purpose, in chapter 2, by inspecting conservation of street environment and streetscape, deduce the frame for analyzing streetscape in commercial district. In chapter 3, analyzing present condition and problems of selected streets in Pohang City, derive the primary factors to induce desirable streetscape through problems and their reason between the analyzed elements of building form. Analyzed elements are composed of floor elements, wall elements, ceiling elements. The detailed elements are pavement of road, street furniture, height of buildings, color and material of building and outdoor advertisements. In chapter 4, by conducting a questionnaire survey of pedestrians about street images -choosing impressive physical elements and the feeling of the street by the list of adjective of semantic differential scale- and the preference, propose the direction of improvement about streetscape in commercial district.

The turbofan engine performance analysis for a medium scale commercial aircraft was carried out and the LQR control scheme for performance optimization was studied. By using scaled component maps from well-known CF6 engine characteristics, the steady-state performance analysis result was compared with BR715-56 engine performance data. The transient performance analysis was performed with four fuel schedules. The linear simulation was done at the maximum take-off condition. The real time linear simulation was performed by interpolation of the system matrices, which used the least square method as the function of LPC rotational speed. By using linear system matrices of design point, the LQR controller which used control variables for the fuel flow and the LPC bleed air was designed.

A Haematococcus pluvialis strain isolated from the ruins of Ephesus in Turkey was investigated as regards its adaptation to laboratory conditions and maximum growth rate. In the first stage of the experiment, the growth of H. pluvialis was compared in common culture media. Furthermore, in an effort to minimize the culture costs, the second stage of the experiment compared the growth rate in the culture medium selected in the first stage with that in commercial plant fertilizers. The results demonstrated that the maximum cell concentration of 0.90 g/l, corresponding to a growth rate of $0.150d^{-1}$, was found with an N-P-K 20:20:20 fertilizer under a light intensity of $75{\mu}mol$ photons $m^{-2}s{-1}$ on the $12^{th}$ day of cultivation.
