아몰퍼스 고온 판재성형시 스프링백 (Spring Back in Amorphous Sheet Forming at High Temperature)

  • This paper is concerned with spring back after sheet forming of bulk amorphous alloys in the super cooled liquid state. The temperature-dependence and strain-rate dependence of Newtonian/non-Newtonian viscosities as well as the stress overshoot/undershoot behavior of amorphous alloys are reflected in the thermo-mechanical Finite Element simulations. Hemispherical deep drawing operations are simulated for various forming conditions such as punch velocity, die comer radius, friction, blank holder force, clearance and initial funning temperature. Here, spring back by an instantaneous elastic unloading was followed by thermal deformation during cooling, and two modes of spring back are examined in detail. It could be concluded that the superior sheet formability of an amorphous alloy can be obtained by taking the proper forming conditions for loading/unloading.

  • Among various methods to manufacture the PDP barrier ribs, the pressing and the roll forming methods are simple and economical because they form the ribs by utilizing the plastic flow of the green tape in a relatively short time without generating air-polluting dusts. In the present study, the roll forming method was investigated by experiments as well as numerical analyses and in result the groove roll and the preform were designed. The effect of draft angle, comer radius, and initial thickness of the green tape on the plastic flow was examined by a series of parametric studies. The preform was recommended to ease the plastic flow into the grooves and to avoid the occurrence of crack during rolling and sintering processes.

  • Shape optimization of a transonic axial compressor rotor operating at the design flow condition has been performed using response surface method and three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis. Three design variables of blade sweep. lean and skew are introduced to optimize the three-dimensional stacking line of the rotor blade. The object function of the shape optimization is selected as an adiabatic efficiency. Throughout the shape optimization of the rotor. the adiabatic efficiency is increased by reducing the tub comer and tip losses. Separation line due to the interference between a passage shock and surface boundary layer on the blade suction surface is moved downstream for the optimized blade compared to the reference one.

  • In this paper, we propose the topological map building method about unknown environment using the ultrasonic sensors. An ultrasonic sensor inherently has the range error due to the specular reflection. To decrease this error, we estimate the obstacle states(position and velocity) using the local minimum sensor values and Jacobian. Estimated states are used to avoid the obstacles and build the topological map similar to the type that human being memorizes an environment. When a mobile robot is faced with three problems(comer way, cross way and dead end), it senses the movable directions using FIS(Fuzzy Inference System). Among these directions, it can select the target direction using binary decision tree(Turn Side Selector). Proposed algorithm has been verified with three simulations and three implementations.

  • This paper proposes a vision-based kinematic control method for mobile robots with camera-on-board. In the previous literature on the control of mobile robots using camera vision information, the forward velocity is set to be a constant, and only the rotational velocity of the robot is controlled. More efficient motion, however, is needed by controlling the forward velocity, depending on the position in the corridor. Thus, both forward and rotational velocities are controlled in the proposed method such that the mobile robots can move faster when the comer of the corridor is far away, and it slows down as it approaches the dead end of the corridor. In this way, the smooth turning motion along the corridor is possible. To this end, visual information using the camera is used to obtain the perspective lines and the distance from the current robot position to the dead end. Then, the vanishing point and the pseudo desired position are obtained, and the forward and rotational velocities are controlled by the LOS(Line Of Sight) guidance law. Both numerical and experimental results are included to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

  • Burr is a projected part of finished workpiece. It is unavoidable and undesirable by-product of most metal cutting or shearing process. Also, it must be removed to improve the fit of machined parts, safety of workers, and the effectiveness of finishing operation. But deburring process Is one of manufacturing processes that have not been successfully automated, so deburring automation is strongly needed. This paper focused on developing a basic algorithm to find edge of workpiece and match two different image data for deburring automation which includes automatic recognition of parts, generation of deburring tool paths and edge/comer finding ability by analyzing the DXF drawing file which contains information of part geometry. As an algorithm fur corner finding, SUSAN method was chosen. It makes good performance in finding edge and corner in suitable time. And this paper suggested a simple algorithm to find matching point between CCD image and drawing file.

  • The interaction between the hypersonic free stream and the side jet flow at high altitudes is investigated by direct simulation Monte Carlo(DSMC) method. Since there is a great difference in density between the free stream and the side jet flow, the weighting factor technique which could control the number of simulation particles, is applied to calculate these two flows simultaneously. Chemical reactions are not considered in the calculation. For validation, the corner flow passing between a pair of plates that are perpendicularly attached is solved. The side jet flow is then injected into this comer flow and solution is found for the merged flow. Results are compared with the experiments. For a more realistic rocket model, the flow past a blunted cone cylinder shape is solved. The leeward or windward jet injection is merged with this flow. The effect on the rocket surface is observed at various flow angles. The lambda effect and the wake structure are found like low attitudes. High interaction between the free stream and the side jet flow is observed when the side jet is injected in the windward direction.

초음파의 멀티 에코 기능을 이용한 주차 공간의 코너 감지법 (Comer Detection of Parking Lot Using Multiple Echo Ultrasonic)

  • In this paper, ultrasonic range system which detects parking lot in parking area is studied. The important part for detecting parking lot accurately is to detect the first and second corners of possible parking lot, and for that, new method using multiple echo function is introduced in this paper. Many probabilistic methods have been used to reduce uncertainties of ultrasonic sensor for distance and location of objects. Method using multiple echo, however, gives accurates results as well as simple algorithm. For experiments in parking space, ultrasonic range system was attached to a Pioneer AT-2 and final parking space map was created in a fusion with position information from wheels of a Pioneer AT-2. We will show the results are compared with error of another methods.

  • 결정립계에 존재하는 핵분열기체의 기포가 소결체의 외부와 연결되는 정도를 모사할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. $UO_2$ 결정립의 형상을 TKD로 취급할 때, 결정립 Corner에서 자유 공간과 연결되는 핵분열 기체의 기포 비율을 결정립 Corner에 형성된 기포 반경의 함수로서 몬테 카를로 방법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 2차원적인 분석에도 불구하고, 본 방법은 모든 기포가 자유 공간과 완전히 연결된 순간에서 예측된 핵연료 팽윤과 측정된 핵연료 팽윤이 비교적 잘 일치함을 보였다. 그러나 핵분열기체 기포가 외부와 상호 연결된 정도를 좀 더 사실적으로 모사하려면 결정립 Corner의 기포를 3차원적으로 취급해야 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고정 또는 자유 연단 조건의 모든 조합을 고려한 마름모꼴 평판의 휨 진동에 대한 엄밀한 해석방법을 제시한다. 본 논문의 주된 관점은 마름모꼴 평판 둔각 모서리의 경계조건이 고정 또는 자유일 때 휨응력의 특이도를 엄밀히 고려하여 해석하는 것이다. 고정 또는 자유인 모서리 응력 특이도의 중대한 영향력이 이해 될 수 있도록 충분히 큰 165。 둔각모서리를 갖는 마름모꼴 평판에 대하며 엄밀한 무차원 진동수와 수직 변동변위의 전형적인 등고선을 제시하였다.
