도심 엔터테인먼트 쇼핑센터(UEC)의 테넌트 배치 형태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the pattern of tenant layout in the Urban Entertainment Center)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of tenant layout for selected cases of five different Urban Entertainment Center(UEC) in Seoul. This research deals with the process of gaining tenant layout pattern of 40 different types. It is composed of three combination unit with tenants of the same or different consumption mode, which is divided into four different functions of retail, entertainment, dining, and service. Then, every tenant of research cases is classified as one of the fabric type, and the data is analyzed to gain its frequency rate with SPSS 14.0 program. The following is the overall explanation of the result for this research. The frequency of tenant layout pattern between the same consumption mode shows the high rate when compared to the other patterns with different consumption mode. For example, the frequency rate of tenant layout pattern which retail and dining consumption mode are placed side by side like RRR and DDD is high. Interestingly, the frequency rate of RRR type of tenant layout pattern that sells the similar products shows especially high level. It can provide the effective environment for shoppers to compare retail goods in many different stores as producing synergic effects when they are located near each other, so this strategy should be considered when planning tenants in UEC environment. Moreover, in case of dining tenants, when they are clustered together in the UEC environment it can play a role as an anchor tenant. Tenant layout pattern of dining-retail and dining-service consumption mode shows the high frequency rate than other layout pattern with other consumption mode. Besides, entertainment consumption tenants combined with dining or retail tenants show the high frequency rate when compared to the pattern combined with service consumption mode.

  • 스크램제트 추진기술에 대한 최근 개발동향과 주요기술을 분석하였다. 스크램제트엔진은 지난 10여년간 급속한 기술 발전으로 지상시험에서 비행시험 단계에 접어들고 있으며, 수년 내 실용시험을 목표로 활발하게 연구개발 중이다. 광범위한 비행 마하수를 만족하는 이중연소램제트와 이중모드램제트 형태의 엔진은 각각 군용과 민수용으로 개발되고 있으며, 복합엔진은 차세대 우주발사체의 대안으로 개발되고 있다. 엔진 작동 특성의 미케니즘에 대한 정확한 이해와 이에 상응되는 기술, 흡열연료 및 CSiC 복합재료를 사용한 내열 문제 해결, 가변 흡입구와 노즐을 이용한 안정된 추진력 구현을 목전에 두고 있다.

Experimental study of rockburst under true-triaxial gradient loading conditions

  • Due to the underground openings, the tangentially concentrated stress of the tunnel remains larger at excavation boundary and decreases toward the interior of the surrounding rock with a certain gradient. In order to study the effect of different gradient stress on rockburst, the true-triaxial gradient and hydraulic-pneumatic combined test apparatus were carried out to simulate the rockburst processes. Under the different gradient stress conditions, the rock-like specimen (gypsum) was tested independently through three principal stress directions loading--fast unloading of single surface--top gradient and hydraulic-pneumatic combined loading, which systematically analyzed the macro-mesoscopic damage phenomena, force characteristics and acoustic emission (AE) signals of the specimen during rockburst. The experimental results indicated that the rockburst test under the gradient and hydraulic-pneumatic combined loading conditions could perfectly reflect the rockburst processes and their stress characteristics; Relatively high stress loading could cause specimen failure, but could not determine its mode. The rockburst under the action of gradient stress suggested that the failure mode of specimen mainly depended on the stress gradient. When the stress gradient was lower, progressive and static spalling failure occured and the rockburst grades were relatively slight. On the other hand, shear fractures occurred in rockbursts accounted for increasingly large proportion as the stress gradient increased and the rockburst occurred more intensely and suddenly, the progressive failure process became unconspicuous, and the rockburst grades were moderate or even stronger.

혼합모드 단일과대하중 하에서 피로균열 전파거동의 예측 (Prediction of Fatigue Crack Propagation Behavior Under Mixed-Mode Single Overload)

  • In this study, experiments were tried on the mixed-mode I+II single overloading model which changes the loading mode of overload and fatigue load. Aspects of deformation field in front of the crack which is formed by mixed-mode I+II single overloading were experimentally studied. Then the shape and size of mixed-mode plastic zone were approximately calculated. The propagation behavior of fatigue crack was examined under the test conditions combined by changing the loading mode. The behavior of fatigue cracks were greatly affected by shapes of plastic deformation field and applying mode of fatigue load. Accuracy of prediction and evaluation for fatigue life may be improved by considering all aspects of deformation and behavior of fatigue cracks.

가스터빈 공기량 조절에 따른 열병합발전 성능 변화 (The performance of combined heat and power plant according to gas turbine air mass flow rate change)

  • 본 연구에서는 부분부하 운전 시 가스터빈의 공기량 조절에 따른 열병합 발전의 운전데이터 변화를 알아보았다. 가스터빈 부분부하 80%시 시뮬레이션 한 결과 입구가이드베인을 최대 24% 추가로 닫을 수 있었고, 압축기 공기량은 66.11 kg/s 감소, 배기가스 온도는 52℃ 상승시킬 수 있었다. 부분부하 90%는 입구가이드베인을 최대 12% 추가로 닫을 수 있었고, 압축기 공기량은 33.33 kg/s 감소, 배기가스 온도는 23℃ 상승 시킬 수 있었다. 열부하 추종운전 시 부분 부하 80%에서 출력을 최대 5.68 MW 상승, 복합발전 효율을 0.73% 상승, 열병합발전 효율을 1.81% 상승 시킬 수 있었고, 부분부하 90%에서 출력을 최대 2.55 MW 상승, 복합발전 효율을 0.32% 상승, 열병합발전 효율을 0.72% 상승 시킬 수 있었다.

혐기조-간헐포기조-개량조로 구성된 영양소 제거 공정에서 온도의 영향 (Temperature Effect on the Nutrient Removal in the Combined Biological Nutrient Removal System (CBNR) with Anaerobic-Intermittent Aerobic-Modified Oxic Reactors)

  • The temperature effect at $20^{\circ}$ and $10^{\circ}$ on the nutrient removal efficiency was evaluated in the combined biological nutrient removal system (CBNR) with anaerobic-intermittent aerobic-oxic reactors. The test was conducted under the conditions of various ratios of intermittent aeration time and distribution of influent raw water to CBNR. The removal efficiencies of organics, nitrogen and phosphorus were a little bit better at $20^{\circ}$ than at $10^{\circ}$. However the large difference of temperature effect on the nutrient removal efficiency between $20^{\circ}$ and $10^{\circ}$ was not appeared because of highly sustained MLSS concentrations in the reactors and controlled intermittent aeration time. In the removal of phosphorus, Mode III (50/70 min in aeration on/off time, 3 times of intermittent aeration) showed more effective compared with short aeration time of Mode IV. In case of N, P removal, the denitrification rate was lower in Mode A with splitted inflow into anaerobic and intermittent aeration basins than in Mode B with sole inflow into anaerobic basin.

  • A GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) using GPS provides us with very useful information concerning the positioning of users in many sectors such as transportation, social services, the justice system and customs services, public works, search and rescue systems and leisure. A GNSS using the Galileo satellite is due to work in 2008 and expected to be used in various fields such as aviation, marine transportation, land surveying, resources development precise agriculture, telemetics, and so on. In this paper, we discuss the implementation and testing of a combined GPS/Galileo receiver which we named KSTAR V1.0. Each tracking module of GPS/Galileo dual mode correlator has the five track arms which consist of Very Early code, Early code, Prompt code, late code, and Very late code. Each of 24 tracking modules can be assigned to GPS and/or Galileo signal by changing mode selection register. The basic correlator integration dump period is set to 1ms for GPS C/A code and fast Galileo signal tracking. The performance of the developed combined GPS/Galileo receiver was tested and evaluated using the IF (Intermediated Frequency)-level GPS/Galileo signal generator.

  • The network equilibrium theory is to estimate the travel choices on a transportation network when the resulting travel times and costs are one basis for the choices. Increasing use of this principle on travel assignment problem lead to develop the combined choice models including not only travel options such as mode and route, but location options like trip distribution problems. This paper, first, reviews earlier developments of variable demand network equilibrium models, combined modeles of trip distribution and assignment, and entropy constrained combined models. Then various model structures of combining travel choice models based on network equilibrium theory and entropy constraints are discussed.

Optimal Design of Dielectric-loaded Surface Plasmon Polariton Waveguide with Genetic Algorithm

  • We propose a design and optimization method for a dielectric-loaded surface plasmon polariton waveguide using a genetic algorithm. This structure consists of a polymer ridge on top of two layers of substrate and gold film. The thickness, width and refractive index of the ridge are designed to optimize the figures of merit including mode confinement and propagation length. The modal analysis combined with the effective index method shows that the designed waveguide exhibits a fundamental propagation mode with high mode confinement while ensuring that the propagation loss remains relatively low.

Position Sensorless Control of BLDC Motors Based on Global Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Observer

  • The brushless DC motor (BLDCM) has many advantages. As a result, it is widely used in electric vehicle (EV) drive systems. To improve the reliability of the motor control system, a position sensorless control strategy based on a sliding mode observer (SMO) is proposed. The global fast terminal sliding mode observer (GFTSMO) is proposed to enhance the control performance of the SMO control system. The advantages of the linear sliding mode and the nonsingular terminal sliding mode (NTSM) are combined in the control strategy. The convergence speed of the system state is enhanced. The motor commutation point is obtained with the observation of the back EMF, and the instantaneous torque value of the motor is calculated. Therefore, the position sensorless control of the BLDCM is realized. Experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can improve the convergence speed, dynamic characteristics and robustness of the system.
