디스플레이 기술이 급격히 발전함과 동시에 디스플레이 종류 또한 다양해지면서 디스플레이의 화질평가에 대한 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 화질평가에는 명암비, 색재현율, 색온도 및 감마 특성 등 물리적인 측정에 의한 정량적인 평가 방법이 사용되어 왔지만, 최종적인 화질의 비교 평가는 관측자가 느끼는 주관적인 인지 화질에 의해 이루어진다. 이에 디스플레이가 가지고 있는 물리적 특성과 관측자가 느끼는 감성 화질 사이의 상관관계를 정립할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Video Electronics Standards Association(VESA) Flat Panel Display Measurements(FPDM) version 2.0의 표준에 따른 측정을 통하여 모바일용 TFT-LCD와 AMOLED가 가지고 있는 색재현 특성-명암비, 기준 백색에 대한 색온도, 회색 계조의 색도 일관성 및 감마 특성, RGB 채널별 계조의 감마 특성, 디스플레이 장치의 색역 크기-을 객관적으로 비교 평가한다. 그 다음, 주요평가 항목을 중심으로 일반 관측자뿐만 아니라 색채 전공자에 의한 다양한 주관적 화질 평가를 수행하고, 이 평가 결과를 뒷받침 할 수 있는 정량적인 자료 및 근거를 제시한다. 이를 통해 화질 향상을 위해 색재현 관점에서 TFT-LCD와 AMOLED가 고려해야할 방향을 제시한다.

This study applied cartoon-like simple and implicit symbol of Keith Haring works to tubular jacquard knit, designed woman casual knit wear with fun, explicit and activities using fluorescent yarns with explicit features. This study aimed to propose the directions for new market pioneering that meets the emotional requirements of modern people by raising the level of utilization and expression area of knit fashion, and to present the constructive directions for high value-added knit wear by designing highly effective knit wear. Methods of this study examined the lifetime and artistic background of Keith Haring and collected his works through searching of internet, scholastic publications or thesis. Formative types and colors of works collected were analyzed and classified according to characteristic standards of Haring and characteristic formativeness and color of works were extracted. The result of this study is as shown below: First, the feature of his works can be summarized into motif that has symbolic and implicit cartoon-like lines including narratives as well as enormous number of works. Such feature is very suitable for variation and recombination in realization of design and has unlimited potentials for development. Second, image colors can be extracted such as black and white, original color and fluorescent paints, which reflects the intention of artist who put focus on communication with the public. Such color feature is very suitable for design motif that has explicitness of reflecting the intention of artist through use of special fluorescent yarn. Third, I made it as reversible wear that has effects of increasing or decreasing the explicitness according to color area ratio using the feature of textures allowing use of both sides as well as form stability of tubular jacquard. Fourth, by adjusting the thickness of fabric with controlling of ply in fabric using poly yarn and wool union yarn, I could obtain good results of study in terms of technique that can express various materials with embossed dynamic effects of unevenness on flat surface.

The pollution characteristics of groundwaters in Taegu City and correlation coefficients(r) between water pollution indicators were investigated for two years from January 1996 to December 1997. Volatile organic compounds such as TCE(tri-chloroethylene), PCE(tetrachloroethylene), l,l,l-trichloroethane, THM(trihalo-methane), dichloromethane, pesticides such as diazinon, parathion, malathion, and toxic inoganic matters such as As, Hg, Se, Pb, Cd, $Cr_6^+,$ CN were not detected in the groundwaters. Mean values of groundwater pollution indicators were below drinking-water standards, but hardness, $KMnO_4-C(potassium$ permanganate consumption), evaporate residues, $SO_4^{-2},\;Fe,\;NO_3^{-}-N,$ color and turbidity exceeded a little in some samples. As groundwater became deeper, hardness and evaporate residues remarkably increased, but $KMnO_4-C,\;NO_3^{-}-N,\;Cl-,$ color, turbity and bacteria decreased. $KMnO_4-C,$ evaporate residues, $Cl^-\;and\;SO_4^{-2}$ were very high at industrial and commercial areas, and $NO_3^--N$ and $NH_4^+-N$ were very high at agricultural and forest areas. It showed high positive significances in the relationships between hardness and each of evaporate residues, $SO_4^{-2}$, Zn and Mn, $KMnO_4-C$ and each of color, turbidity and Zn, color and each of turbidity, Cu, Zn and Mn, turbidity and each of Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn, and evaporate residues and each of $Cl^-,\;SO_4^{-2}$ and Zn.

The Following is a list of specific external and internal morphology of Rheum palmatum L. and R. undulatum L. in Rhei Rhizoma. 1. For the original plants of Rhei Rhizoma in the literatures. 18 plants are reported. 2. The external characteristics of original plant : R. palmatum has a large palmate leaf, its petiole of radical leaf has a simple bristle and its flower is purple and pink color. Whereas R. undulatum has a medium ovate leaf, its petiole of radical leaf is purphish, its stem leaf surrounds a half of stem and its flower is yellowish white color. 3. The character of herbal states : a. diameter and size-- R. palmaum is bigger and heavier than R. undulatum. b. in section--R. palmatum is dark brown color, R. undulatum is bright brown color Fibrovascular bundle is arranged in circle shape in R. patmatum. R. undulatum shows a distingushed wheel shape. 4. The internal characteristics : R. palmatum has a large intercellular space of cork layer, its cambium is clear and a xylem medullary ray is comparatively tight, Whereas R. undulatum has a tight intercettular space of cork layer., its cambium is a few clear and xylem medullary ray is verty tight. As these results, additional study is required to distinguish herbs and their effect among many kinds of same genus-degree of relatedness.

This research aims at applicability of adsorption process in order to satisfy the restricted Effluent Quality Standards for dyeing wastewater. The dyeing wastewater treated by biological process with carrier imbedded microorganisms was directly applied to the activated carbon adsorption in Process A, The dyeing wastewater treated by Fenton oxidation for the effluent of biological process was applied to the adsorption in Process B. It was found that the optimum conditions of adsorption with granular activated carbon are $20^{\circ}C$ and 120 minutes for the batch experiment. Langmuir equation was fitted better than Freundlich equation to the experimental data. The breakthrough time of adsorption column was determined by color rather than $COD_{Mn}$ for both Process A and Process B. The results revealed that the breakthrough time of adsorption for two processes was extended by the treatment of Fenton oxidation for dyeing wastewater treated by biological treatment than the direct application of dyeing wastewater treated by the biological treatment. Adsorption process can be applied in order to meet the restricted Effluent Quality Standards for dyeing wastewater.

The physicochemical parameters of honey are used to determine the botanic origin of honey and to specify the composition criteria for honey in regulations and standards. The parameters of honeydew and blossom honeys from Korean beekeepers were determined to investigate whether they complied with the composition criteria for honey in the food code legislated by Korean authority and to establish the parameters which should be subjected to principal component analysis for improved differentiation of honeys. The fructose and glucose contents of the honeydew honey did not comply with the composition criteria. The ash content of the honey was closely correlated with CIE a^* and CIE L^* The principal component analysis of fructose to glucose ratio, CIE a^*, CIE L^*, ash content, free acidity, and fructose and glucose contents enabled classification of honeydew, chestnut, multifloral, and acacia honeys. Additional advantage of the principal component analysis (PCA) is that the physicochemical parameters, such as fructose to glucose ratio (F/G) and color, can be determined using the analytical instruments for composition criteria and quality control of honey. This study suggested that composition criteria for honeydew honey should be established in the food code in accordance with international standards. The principal component analysis reported in this study resulted in improved classification of the honeys from Korean beekeepers.

This study investigated the preceding studies and concept of Glam Rock style, modernistically reinterpreted its aesthetic function and symbolism and connected them to design. It analyzed according to the standards for classification the Glam Rock style appearing mainly in the collections from 2002 S/S to 2007 S/S and presented four pieces of design through the analysis. Its findings are synthesized as follows. First, unstructured design constitutes mule stressing gold cubic overall. It takes an unstable form by the placement of unshapely front ball of foot from transforming Chopin and a relatively poor heel. Second, over trimming constitutes separated pumps in the form of over trimming irregularly a piece of broken glass, metal and thumb tack. Third, Mix & Match combines Boot body of flexible knit material with an acrylic wedge sandal. Fourth, a platform sandal has the structure of color contrast between yellow and bronze in calf fur of tiger-skin pattern. I hope that this study will be developed by reflecting Glam Rock spirit and style as cultural phenomena through analyzing Glam Rock style and presenting design according to selected standards for classification, inferring plastic beauty of fashion shoes from them, investigating the change and feature of age-specific shoe design and making a new attempt possible.

This study aims to investigate the concepts and characteristics of Metrosexual and Ubersexual image which are the recent fashion phenomena representing the lifestyles of comtemporary men, and to analyze the design of contemporary men's fashion based on the represented characteristics of these sexual images. To accomplish these ends, various related publications, articles and papers, divers serial publications, and numerous internet articles are collectively reviewed for theoretical studies, and design analysis are conducted for content analysis(style, color, material, detail, etc) using photo data taken from the collections from 2001 through 2006. The results of this study shows that recent appearance of Metrosexual and Ubersexual fashion image represents the change of aesthetic standards in the contemporary society. With the influence of sociocultural phenomena which allow the pursuit of individual personality, the contemporary men, instead of expressing the socialized sexual identity, came to acquire the freedom of sexual identity which represents their personal desires. As an expression of hmnan will to pursue unrestricted sensibility and aesthetic sense, these sexual phenomena of Metrosexual and Ubersexual will be reinterpreted and reappear in various forms as the social atmosphere and aesthetic standards changes.

플라즈마 디스플레이(Plasma Display Panel: PDP)용 청색 형광체인 $CaMgSi_{2}O_6:Eu^{2+}(CMS:Eu^{2+})$를 고상반응(sold-state reaction)법으로 합성하였다. 합성한 재료를 실온에서부터 $1,100^{\circ}C$까지 열처리하여 photoluminescence(PL)와 EPR 측정으로 열적 안정성을 연구하였다. $CMS:Eu^{2+}$ 형광체를 대기 분위기 하에서 상온에서부터 $700^{\circ}C$까지 열처리하였을 때 PL의 변화는 없었으나, $700^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 열처리 하였을 때는 PL의 감소를 나타내었다. $700^{\circ}C$까지 PL의 안정된 거동을 보이는 것은 구조적으로 안정된 12 면체를 하고 있는 $Ca^{2+}$ 이온의 일부를 $Eu^{2+}$ 이온이 점유하고 있어 $Eu^{2+}$의 원자가 변화에 영향을 미치지 못했으나, $700^{\circ}C$이상의 PL의 감소는 $Eu^{2+}$에서 $Eu^{3+}$의 산화에 의한 것이라는 것을 EPR 흡수세기의 변화로부터 알 수 있었다.

The combined effect of water-soluble chitosan oligomer and irradiation on changes in quality of perk sausage made with (156 ppm) or without NaNO$_{2}$ was determined. The pH of nonirradiated sausage without NaNO$_{2}$ decreased significantly during 3 wks of storage, but the pH of irradiated sausage did not. Irradiation at 4.5 kGy did not increase the Hunter color a-value but 10 and 20 kGy showed significantly higher a-values in the sausage with chitosan oligomer (p < 0.05). The sausage with NaNO$_{2}$ had higher sensory scores than that without NaNO$_{2}$, and irradiated sausage had lower scores in overall acceptance. Results indicate that further research is needed to achieve consumers sensory standards for irradiating cooked meat products.
