Analyzing and Comparing the Effect on Lightsources and Colours in the Residences and Office Interior

  • The aim of this study is to propose the predictive index and analyze the effect of lightsources and colour image types in the residence and office interior.This study was consisted of four steps, and was carried out as follows. 1) The condition of experiment was set up by optical characteristic of lightsources and colours. 2) The scaled model space was manufactured for the evaluation of the same condition by each space. And, some piece of furniture was manufactured for the representation of each space. 3) The emotivity response of lightsources and colours was measured. 4) Results of the evaluation of lightsources and colours were compared and analyzed by conditions, and the predictive index was proposed by image types.

  • A database was constructed for customers to find and choose and apparel product. The product information was collected from words on several kinds of advertisement, which purchasers meet in their ordinary life. The information was sorted and categorized in 8 basic mother categories (Target group, Color, Apparel type, Fabric, Size, Price, Manufacturer) to build a suitable database structure. Each mother category was arranged into subcategories. Also this study showed a demonstration version of the retrieval system. the research resulted can be used for more intensive retrieval system.

  • This study analyzed image components of make-up image between fashion and advertisement of Christian Dior, also, this study examined, compared and analyzed their aesthetic characters. Then, it researched whether brand image was shaped exactly as the same method or not. The study was theoretical and established method; using more than a graduate student-major in clothing and make up, survey$(2004.5{\sim}6.)$ and SPSS 10 program statistics method. As the results, in Dior fashion and make-up, this study analyzed the factors of shape, color, material and texture, and both of them indicated the aspects of chic, classic, gorgeous and romantic image. Also, consumers understood them as a same image. This demonstrated that Christian Dior fashion and make-up have been shaping toward a same image as a same meaning.

  • HP를 비롯한 장치나 소프트웨어 관련 업체들은 인터넷에서 통용될 수 있도록 다양한 모니터들의 평균이 되는 sRGB 색공간을 제안하고 이를 기본 색공간으로 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 sRGB 색공간과 XYZ 색공간 사이의 변환프로그램을 개발하여 웹 안전색으로 통용되고 있는 216가지의 디지털신호에 대해 sRGB 색공간에서 재현될 XYZ 색좌표를 예측해 보았다. 또한 실제로 두 대의 모니터에 216가지의 디지털 신호를 입력시켰을 때 재현된 색의 XYZ 색좌표를 측정하여 예측된 결과와의 차이를 비교함으로써 sRGB 색공간의 실효성을 분석하였다.

  • 색채 자극은 인간의 감성에 영향을 주며 또한 색채의 생리적인 작용을 응용하는 연구들이 보고되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 색채 자극이 정상인의 생리신호에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 정량적으로 측정해 보고자 하였다. 피검자는 정상인 성인 남,여 각 50명을 실시하였다. 색채 환경의 제시는 암실에서 백색광원에 채색 필터를 사용하여 제시하였다. EEG는 푸른색과 녹색에서 알파파가 상승하였으며, 베타파는 상대적으로 감소하였다. 심전도의 HRV분석에서는 남자는 녹색에서 부교감 신경계가 가장 활성화 되었으며, 여자는 파랑색에서 부교감신경계가 활성화 된 걸 볼 수 있었다. COP 측정에서는 녹색에서 누적거리가 가장 적은 것으로 나타났으나 통계적 유의성은 나타나지 않았다. 본 실험을 통해 색채 환경이 생리적 신호에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 임상적 응용을 위해서는 더 많은 피검자와 인지기능에 장애가 있는 환자를 대상으로 계속적인 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

Effect of Fabric Sound on Subjective Sensation (직물의 소리가 주관적 감각에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate human subjective sensation for fabric rustling sounds and predict the sensation with quantified sound color measurements and mechanical properties of fabrics. Thirty subjects at Virginia Tech were asked to evaluate seven sound sensation descriptors by semantic differential scale after hearing eight different fabric sounds. Sound measurements were quantified by calculating total sound pressure(LPT), level range(ΔL), and frequency difference (Δf). Mechanical properties of fabrics were measured by KES-FB. Subjective sensation for fabric sound showed significant differences among fabrics except clearness sensation. Subjective sensation predicted by sound measurements showed well fitted regression equation with ΔL and LPT> Sharpness, clearness, and highness were significantly released with mechanical properties of fabrics. All sensation was found to be predicted with sound measurements L:PT and Δf and mechanical properties such as LT, 2HG5, WC, T, and W.

Kansei engineering research on deodorizing airflesheners

  • In Japan, deodorizing airflesheners are very popular to make air flesh by deodorizing odor in rooms, toilet as well as inside a car. There are in different features in deodorizing material of Gel and Liquid, in a shape of bottle from tall to low height, in bottle color and so on. These different features will influence the customer's feeling to the products of deodorizing airfleshener. This paper deals with the psychological evaluation of the features of deodorizing airfleshener on the SD scale with kansei words. The evaluated data were analyzed by Quantification Theory Type I that leads to the relational rules between the product feature and the kansei words. The beautiful and graceful kansei consists of low height, middle width deformed round shape, but easy operational feature is based on tall shape design. These results are helpful to develop a new product of deodorizing airfleshener.

  • The process of human information transmission system is one of the foundation characters of energy transmission system on human. If energy transmission has not happened on human that human cannot react anything about everything. Therefore, to know about the system of human information transmission is a study to get basic information to explain a lot of things for human. This study deals with human reaction speed according to display signals of each color, and the result will be analyzed to apply to the design switches for various machines.

  • brightness와 contrast의 적절한 조절은 자연색 재현 및 다양한 분위기 창출이 가능하여 디스플레이의 질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 디스플레이 사용자들은 OSD(On-Screen-Display)를 통해 brightness와 contrast상태를 임의로 조절할 수 있으나, 조절에 따른 영상의 변화를 예측하지 못하므로 이를 잘 활용하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 brightness와 contrast가 각각 영상에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 자연색 재현이 가능한 최적상태와 4가지의 감성적 분위기를 나타낼 수 있는 조절상태를 정의하였다. 5가지 조절상태를 OSD에 제시함으로써 사용자가 쉽게 영상의 이미지에 적합한 brightness와 contrast상태로 조절할 수 있어 제품에 대한 만족감을 높일 수 있는 brightness/contrast 통함 조절방법을 제안하였다.

And look around about the developing case of domestic company and modeling method, a pattern of traditional design development, As on of distinction's way has doing conjoint analysis for abstract to character of traditional form and have devdloping to product with a present expression elements and design concept for a basis.
