본 논문에서는 기존 CIE1931 색역 변환 알고리즘의 최적화된 하드웨어 구현 방법을 제안한다. 안개제거 알고리즘의 후처리 방법 중 비교적 연산량이 적은 기존 알고리즘은 연산 과정에서 Split multiplier를 사용한 큰 비트의 계산으로 하드웨어 자원 소모량이 크다는 단점이 있다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 기존 알고리즘의 미리 정의된 2번의 행렬 곱셈 연산을 하나로 줄임으로써 연산량 감소, 하드웨어 소형화를 실현하였고, Split multiplier 연산을 최적화시킴으로써 탑재하기에 더욱 효율적인 하드웨어를 구현하였다. 하드웨어는 Verilog HDL 언어로 설계하였고, Xilinx Vivado 프로그램을 이용한 논리합성 결과를 비교하여 4K 표준 환경에서 실시간 처리가 가능한 성능을 확인하였다. 또한, 2가지 FPGA에서의 탑재 결과를 통해 제안하는 하드웨어의 성능을 검증하였다.

중국 애니메이션은 1950년대와 80년대의 황금기를 거치면서, 중국의 전통문화를 계승한 민족적 스타일을 형성하였고 다양한 제작 방식과 민족적 정신을 고수하였다. 그러나 오늘날 중국 애니메이션은 세계의 애니메이션과 경쟁하면서 다양한 도전에 직면하고 있다. 이러한 상황 속에서 중국 애니메이션은 '중국 문화의 정체성'을 어떻게 확립하고 중국의 고유한 민족성을 어떻게 현대적 성격과 결합할 것인가에 대해 고민해야 하는 시점에 와 있다. 본 연구는 중국 애니메이션 작품 속에 나타난 중국 전통 색채관의 상징성과 심미특징을 분석하는 것을 통해 상징성과 심미특징이 어떻게 사용되었는지, 그리고 의경미(意境美)가 어떻게 나타나고 있는지를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 통해 중국 전통 색채가 오늘날 현대 중국 애니메이션의 미래 방향과 가치를 제시하는데 있어, 창조적 요인으로 작용 가능한지를 본 연구를 통해 알아보고자 한다.

We're living in a world of one global village. The globalization of business is acceleration as more companies cross national borders to find customers, materials and money. Many foreign companies and organizations are doing their business aggressively in Korea and many Korean companies and rushing into foreign market. When people communicate for business with someone from another culture, there could be difficult communication barriers to overcome resulting from differences in their values, beliefs, norms for behavior, expectations, attitudes and so on. To do successfully business, we need to understand culture background and communication style that is different from nation, race, language. Communication barriers stemming from cultural differences may vary. Largely, they can be divided into value system, non-verbal communication, and perception process. Value system can be divided into individualism versus group orientation, avoidance of uncertainty degree, power distance, and high- context culture versus low-context culture. Also non-verbal communication method and perception process may play decisive roles in communication effectiveness. Especially nonverbal communication barriers which sometimes play more important roles than the verbal parts are composed of eye contact, gesture, kinesics, proxemics, chronemics, paralanguage and language of color Cross-cultural communication affect business situation. I expect that if we understand cultural background, and then we overcome cross-cultural communication barriers. To overcome and to adapt inter-cultural business, we need to develope curriculum on the cross-cultural education which I will study in the next paper.

본 논문에서는 다목적 시각 언어 시스템을 이용한 원스텝 모바일 쇼핑 시스템을 설계하였다. 다목적 시각언어 시스템은 점자에 그 기반을 두고 있으며, 이를 정방형 색상표로 나열하여 시각화시킴으로써, 사용의 편리성과 기본적인 개인 정보의 암호화를 동시에 이룰 수 있으며, 주고받는 정보의 양이 극히 미비하여 보다 빠른 시간에 통신이 가능한 이점도 가지고 있다. 설계된 원스텝 쇼핑 시스템은 이러한 다목적 시각 언어와 국내 성인의 대부분이 보유하고 있는 핸드폰을 접목시켜 이를-쇼핑에 적응시킨 것이다. 사용자는 TV나 PC 모니터, 인쇄물 등에 나타난 코드를 핸드폰의 카메라로 촬영한 후, 내장시킨 프로그램을 이용하여 접속 버튼을 누름으로써 원하는 쇼핑을 한 번에 끝낼 수 있도록 설계된 본 시스템을 이용하면 보다 빠르고 편하며 안전하게 원하는 상품을 구매할 수 있을 것이다.

The experience of interment during World War II has been one of the primary motifs of fictional and autobiographical narratives by Japanese Americans. Examining textual evidences in John Okada's No-No Boy and Monica Sone's Nisei Daughters, this paper argues that the internment has been designed, carried out and concluded based primarily on the principles of economics. Borrowing the notion that 'wealth has (racial) color' as Lui and others maintain, this paper analyzes episodes in which the protagonists and other characters testify how their internment has resulted in their loss of capital as well as human rights and dignity, not to mention temporary suspension of their citizenships. In addition, this paper contrasts the image of the US as a land of equity as represented in the literary texts of the $18^{th}$ century authors in the US with that of our two authors. In doing so, this paper argues that the historical incident of internment in the $20^{th}$ century is the scene in which American ideals become irrecoverably sullied and American dreams turn into American nightmares.

우리나라의 생물상 52,628종의 35.4%를 차지하는 곤충 18,638종의 국명 유형을 크게 11개(색깔, 크기, 모양, 식물, 위치, 생태, 외국어, 사람이름, 고유, 생리, 긍정·부정)범주로 구분하고, 그 뜻은 무엇인지를 조사하였다. 그 중 인종차별, 장애 및 생김새의 차별, 지역 차별 등의 혐오표현이 사용된 유형 506개에 대해 심층적으로 분석하여, 해당 표현의 본 뜻과 함께 향후 사용할 만한 대체 용어를 제시하였다. 더불어 일본어 표현(일본어, 일본인 이름, 일본 지명 등)이 사용된 유형 508개에 대해 분석하여, 세부 유형을 밝히고 해당 생물종의 국명의 사용이 적절하지 않다고 판단되는 경우에 대체 용어를 제시하였다.

This paper examines William and Ellen Craft's Running a Thousand Miles for Freedom (1860)-a narrative of the enslaved couple's escape from Macon to Philadelphia in the guise of a white male master and a colored slave. Expanding Judith Adler's notion of "travel as performed art," my reading of Running focuses on the Crafts' stratagems of transvestism-crossing boundaries not only of gender, but also of race, class, and disability. If travel can be understood as a form of performed art, then why not address a traveler as a performance artist? I present William and Ellen's role-playing in Running as performers of crossing borders and categories, or, as "fugitive performers," since the couple's story never reaches its final arrival but narrates an eternal run-away, far more than "a thousand miles to freedom." Using social stereotypes of race and gender to disguise, William and Ellen plot, write, choreograph, play, and recite on the moving stages and manipulate the others-especially white American audiences-who accompany the couple's run-away and those who were responsible for the cultural drama-a tragedy of American slavery. Becoming "fugitive performers," William and Ellen de-essentialize and debunk the nineteenth-century America's firm belief in distinct color line between black and white, and in the high yet unstable bars between male / female, abled / disabled, master / slave, and freedom / slavery. The Crafts alert their contemporaries and readers by presenting the complex and permeable boundaries of race, gender, class, social and cultural ability.

Countee Cullen has never been fully understood as a poet or as a man, for there existed certain ambiguities concerning his earlier life including family background. But a short but enormously important biography written by Shirley Washington, his niece, a daughter of his youngest sister, titled Countee Cullen's Secret Revealed by Miracle Book: A Biography of His Childhood in New Orleans, has at last come to shed some lights on his childhood which has never been disclosed by Cullen himself or anyone else. Now we can safely say that Countee Cullen was a combination of two personalities, James S. Carter, Jr. and Countee Cullen, In other words, he was a good example of a 'dichotomous personality.' Such disclosure of two conflicting personalities gives us a rare chance to re-examine his literary works. We can now put in perspective why in his first collection of poems Color Countee Cullen was so ironic, dark, cynic, and pessimistic about the life and the world. Also, we can understand why Cullen's response to the jazz was so complex and contradictory and in what ways he used artistic technique to conceal his own feelings. Thanks to Washington's biography, we are now able to locate the real cause of his failure to mature as a poet and of his failure to materialize what was promised in the beginning of his literary career.

본 논문에서는 안드로이드 플랫폼 기반의 스마트 감성조명 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 스마트 실내 감성조명 제어 시스템은 생체신호 측정기기와 이동식 스마트 월 패드, 조명 드라이버, 조명기기로 구성하였다. 제어 시스템은 생체신호를 측정하여 감정어휘를 추출하고, 월 패드에서 블루투스를 이용하여 각 조명 드라이버에 제어신호를 조명 드라이버에 전송하며, 조명 드라이버는 제어신호와 주변의 조도정보를 수집하여 확장보드를 통해 조명기기를 제어하도록 설계하였다. 이때, 월 패드에서는 실내 감성조명 제어 알고리즘에 의한 수동제어와 생체신호 모드 선택이 가능하고, 원하는 조명을 선택하여 부분적인 제어도 가능하게 제어 프로그램을 구현하였다. 제안된 스마트 실내 감성조명 제어 시스템의 실험 결과, 필요로 하는 영역의 조명기기에 대하여 선택적 제어와 색온도 가변에 의한 수동 제어와 생체신호 및 감성어휘에 의한 효율적 가변점등을 할 수 있었다. 따라서 상황에 적합한 색상과 밝기를 제어하여 실내 공간 업무 행위에 있어 집중력 및 업무능력 향상을 위한 효과적인 제어가 가능하였다. 그리고 기존 감성조명 제어 시스템보다 전력 소비 및 디머전압, 전격전류를 감소시켰다.

고대로부터 현재에 이르기까지 금속공예에서 주재료로 사용되는 물질들에는 물질 자체가 지니고 있는 상징성과 특수한 의미들이 내재되어 있다. 이러한 상징성과 의미들은 금속공예를 해석하는 기본적인 단초가 되어, 의미소가 된다. 일반적으로, 금속공예에 사용된 물질들은 진귀한 물질들로서 금과 은이 대부분이었고, 여기에 어울리는 보석들이 사용되었다. 그러나, 최근에는 그다지 귀하지 않은 유리, 철, 알루미늄 등 일상의 물질들이 여기에 더하여 사용되는 경우도 있다. 몇몇 작가들은 의도적으로 이러한 물질들을 사용하고 있으며, 그들에 의해서, 이러한 물질들만이 드러낼 수 있는 특수기법이 개발되고 있다. 이러한 기법들 중에는 재료자체의 물질이 지니고 있는 질감이나 물성들이 전혀 다른 물질처럼 보이게 하는 경우도 있다. 다시 말하자면, 원형적인 물질 언어를 교란시켜서 새로운 물질처럼 보이게 하여 표현의 가능성을 확대 하고 있다. 이러한 예로서, 준 쉬와르츠는 주로 전해주조, 박공, 에나멜 산화기법, 녹청 착색 .. 등 매우 다양한 금속공예의 방식을 적용하여 작품을 제작하는 작가이다. 그의 작품은 일반적인 금속과는 달리, 형태가 매우 추상적이며, 다양한 질감이 드러나 있으며, 규모는 조각처럼 스케일이 크고, 표면처리 방식은 대단히 회화적이다. 또한 외형은 대단히 구조적이며, 작가가 개발한 특수한 기법에 의한 터치가 드러나 있다 이러한 터치는 상징성이 짙은 추상표현주의적인 색상과 이질적으로 절충되어 있다. 나아가서, 프리미티비즘의 원생적인 분위기에서부터 중세의 장식적인 일면, 미니멀한 특성과 카오스적인 일면들까지 혼재해 있다. 작품을 구성하는 이러한 요인들은 금속의 고유의 의미와 직/간접적으로 연결되고 있으나, 특수하게 사용된 기법과 기초 물질언어가 혼재해 있어서, 그 원형적인 물질로서의 의미는 교란되어 있다. 이렇게 교란된 물질언어는 시각적인 특수 효과를 이룩하여 일루젼으로 작용한다. 그것은 금속공예의 표현법을 더욱 풍요롭고 무한하게 만드는 요인이 되어 다양한 해석을 가능하게 한다
