The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceiver's social value, hair style, and hair color of object person on image perceptions. For social value variable, materialism and traditionalism were investigated. Subjects were 343 women in Seoul. Perceiver's materialism gave a significant influence on perception of elegance. The less materialistic group evaluated the hair style of object person more elegant than the more materialistic group. The more traditional group evaluated bright brown hairs less pretty than the less traditional group. This means that traditional people have less preferable image on bright brown hairs compared to the black and dark brown hair as it is different from Korean traditional hair color. Medium straight hair styles were evaluated lowest in preference and individuality. Short straight hairs were evaluated as the most elegant style and medium permanent hairs as the least elegant one. Long wavy hairs were evaluated highest in femininity, and straight hairs were evaluated lower in prettiness and activity than wavy hairs. The bright brown hairs were evaluated as the most individual color, and black was the least one. The bright brown was perceived lowest in elegance. Black and dark brown of the short straight hair style were perceived much more elegant than the bright brown of the same style, and black long wavy hairs were evaluated highest in femininity. The present findings provide that social value, hair style, and hair color are significant characteristics when perceiving women's image.
We introduce Gaussian (or paraxial) optics that can be successfully applied to design, for use in a color analyzer, a non-imaging optical system on a measurement probe for LCD display. The color analyzer is used to decompose colored lights leaving from some measurement area on the LCD display to red, green, and blue. The color analyzer must include a condenser lens whose purpose is to gather colored lights to illuminate a small area on the sensor. In order to satisfy a reduction ratio between the measurement area and the sensing area with a non-imaging condition, a condenser lens is analytically treated by means of Gaussian optics so that good understanding of the non-imaging condenser lens is achieved as a good design is derived. As a result, the technique shows the necessity of analytical treatment in contrast to the design approach using only commercial software such as CODE-V, Light-Tools, and others. Of course, CODE V and Light-Tools are also utilized in this paper to confirm and complete the Gaussian optical design.
The purpose of this study is to understand the dyeing properties and color analysis of fabrics knitted with ramie, cotton, wool and acrylic by using scoria and to analyze whether the knitted fabrics can be used for industrialization by measuring color fastness after and before sliver-nano process. The following is the conclusions. Firstly, when ramie fabric regarding cotton, wool and acrylic was dyed at the temperature of $50^{\circ}C$ for fifteen minutes by using 10, 25, 50, 100g/ $\ell$ of scoria, dyeing absorption gradually increased up to 50g/ $\ell$, and over the point of 50g/ $\ell$ it showed slow increase. Secondly, regarding saturation, among ramie fabric, wool, cotton and acrylic, wool appears as the lowest brightness. Therefore, it can be dyed with bright color and the highest value. In terms of the value of chromaticity, wool also emerges as the lowest brightness. On the contrary, acrylic showed the lightest red as it had the value of the smallest b. Cotton takes the lightest yellow as the b value of the cotton showed the smallest. Thus, scoria dyestuff is a material that showed strong red and yellow on knitted fabric mixed with wool that is the biggest a. b value. Thirdly, in terms of dyeing fastness, sunlight fastness did not show noticeable differences before and after silver-nano processes, but in terms of washing and friction fastness, the material processed by silver-nano indicated that all knitted fabrics are over 4-5 point. which means silver-nano process can be effective for the industrial applications. As mentioned above, as a result of dyeing knitted fabrics with scoria, this study found a possibility of dyeing in the fabric materials, and if there is deeper dyeing experiments, fastness experiments and speculations, it might be possible to be a big issue just like loess and charcoal.

In this study, dye encapsulated microcapsules were produced by polyurethane prepolymer synthesis method using hexamethylene diisocyanate, ethylene glycol and methyl ethyl ketone. The study showed that the average size of microcapsules were $4.697{\mu}m$ in normal distribution. These microcapsules were induced red color by thermochromic fluoran red dye with showing color change as temperature. After the textile finishing of microcapsules, durability of microcapsules were checked as crocking times and lightfastness. The microcapsules were pressed at protrusion of textile weave in 10 crocking times which meant that the microcapsules not fallen off. Lightfastness was acceptable giving rating 4. It means that the polyurethane microcapsules not affect to light durability.
Galaxy clusters, the largest gravitationally bound systems, are an important means to place constraints on cosmological models. Moreover, they are excellent places to test galaxy evolution models in connection to the environments. To this day, massive clusters have been found unexpectedly(Kang & Im 2009, Durret et al. 2011, Tashikawa et al. 2012) and evolution of galaxies in cluster have been still controversial (Elbaz et al. 2007, Cooper et al. 2008, Tran et al. 2009). Finding galaxy cluster candidates at z>1 in a wide, deep imaging survey data will enable us to solve the such issues of modern extragalactic astronomy. We report new candidates of galaxy clusters and their physical properties in one of the wide and deep survey fields, European Large Area ISO Survey North1(ELAIS-N1) and North2(ELAIS-N2) fields, covering sky area of and each. We also suggest a new useful color selection technique to separate 1 < z < 2 galaxies from low-z galaxies by combining multi-wavelength data from the UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey Deep Extragalactic Survey (UKIDSS DXS/J and K band), Spitzer Wise-area InfraRed Extragalactic survey (SWIRE/two mid-infrared bands), Canada France Hawaii Telescope (CFHT/z band), Issac Newton Telescope(INT/ u, g, r, i, z band) and Infrared Medium-deep Survey(IMS/J band).

In this paper we propose a content-based image retrieval method that can search large image databases efficiently by color, texture, and shape content. Quantized RGB histograms and the dominant triple (hue, saturation, and value), which are extracted from quantized HSV joint histogram in the local image region, are used for representing global/local color information in the image. Entropy and maximum entry from co-occurrence matrices are used for texture information and edge angle histogram is used for representing shape information. Relevance feedback approach, which has coupled proposed features, is used for obtaining better retrieval accuracy. Simulation results illustrate the above method provides 77.5 percent precision rate without relevance feedback and increased precision rate using relevance feedback for overall queries. We also present a new indexing method that supports fast retrieval in large image databases. Tree structures constructed by k-means algorithm, along with the idea of triangle inequality, eliminate candidate images for similarity calculation between query image and each database image. We find that the proposed method reduces calculation up to average 92.9 percent of the images from direct comparison.

Sexual harassment is acts arouse sexual shame to the other man by the physical body contact in order to obtain sexual gratification. One of sexual abuse, molestation, means indecent assault. The different point of indecent assault and sexual harassment is 'Harassment' as means of 'assault or intimidation'. In this paper, these incidents of sexual harassment to women in elevators extract by color histogram.

The color of apparels has the interaction of the face skin colors of the wearers. This study was carried out to classify the face skin colors of Korean males into several similar face skin colors in order to extract favorable colors which flatter to their face skin colors. The criterion that select the new subjects who have the classified face skin colors have to be decided. With color spectrometer, JX-777, face skin colors of subjects were measured quantitatively and classified into three clusters that had similar hue, value and chroma with Munsell Color System. Sample size was 418 Korean males and other 15 of new males subjects. Data were analyzed by K-means cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test, Stepwise discriminant analysis using SPSS Win. 12. Findings were as follows: 1. 418 subjects who have YR colors were clustered into 3 kinds of face skin color groups. 2. Discriminant variables of face skin colors was 4 variables : L value of forehead, v value of cheek, c value of forehead, and b value of cheek from standardized canonical discriminant function coefficient 1 and c value of forehead, L value of forehead, b value of cheek. and L value of cheek from standardized canonical discriminant function coefficient 2. 3. Hit ratio of type 1 was $92.3\%$, of type 2 was $96.5\%$ and of type 3 was $92.6\%$ by the canonical discriminant function of 4 variables. 4. The canonical discriminant function equation 1 and 2 were calculated with the unstandardized canonical discriminant function coefficient and constant, the cutting score, and range of the score were computed. 5. The criterion that select the new subjects who have the classified face skin colors was decided.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of physical type and age on preference for color and fabric motifs in women's clothing design. Color preference measures consisted of fabric samples in solid colors and drawings of clothing styles painted in colors. Preference for fabric motifs was assessed by printed fabrics in various patterns and sizes. All of the preference measures were devised specifically for this study. Furthermore, items on height and weight for physical type as well as age of the subjects were included in the questionnaire. Data were obtained by means of structured interviews and self-administered questionnaires from 588 women ($20\~60$ years of age) in seoul. Analysis was by chi-square ($X^{2}$), frequency, percentage, and mean. On color preference, a small but significant body type, height, and age effect was found on some types of clothing. Preference for fabric motifs was affected by body type; height of subjects was related to preference for size of motifs, and age was related to choice, size, and width of striped motifs. It was concluded that body type, height, and age are 1e3st effective in predicting color preference. Fabric motif preference was influenced more by age than by body type or height. Generally, there was some similarities in preference for lines and fabric patterns among slim body types, tall figures, and younger age groups as well as heavy body types, short figures, and older age groups.
Color Doppler imaging(CDI) was carried out to determine CDI-derived resistive index(RI) values of normal canine ophthalmic vasculature and its reproducibility. CDI was performed on 58 dogs. and normal ranges of RI value were calculated for the medial long posterior ciliary artery(mLPCA), ciliary artery(CA), and ophthalmic artery(OA). Ophthalmic vascular RI values of normal dogs were 0.67$\pm$0.07, 0.70$\pm$0.06, and 0.80$\pm$0.04 in mLPCA, CA, and OA, respectively. Means of RT value of all vessel had no statistically significant difference by sex, fellow orbits, and skull type. The results suggest that color Doppler imaging is a noninvasive test which has the advantage of providing objective measurements of blood flow velocity parameter in the canine eye and orbit.
