Recently the research is much interested in about the inspection system using by computer vision system. In this paper, we deal with shape inspection technique for moving to be long and narrow object on conveyor belt. first, we are acquired for moving object on conveyor belt. then the object segmentation is using by color information for background and object. the object position be calculated by horizontal and a vertical histogram. second, we are checked for two hole in front part, widths and top/bottom side information in middle part, and finally checking for two holes in rear part. The performance of our proposed model is evaluated by experiments, within error of 1㎜, and can be checking to 17 object /min.
The paper is represented active robot soccer system using humanoid. many robot we implement the control method of several robot and the algorithm of robot soccer system. the position and direction of the robot is recognized quickly using color tag on the shoulder of robot and special personal computer. Humanoid robot soccer system in this paper develops better in existent wheel-driven soccer robot. Forward, through a lot of studies, self-moving soccer game like human with humanoid is possible.

In the area of computer vision, face recognition is being intensively researched. It is generally known that before a face is recognized it must be localized. Skin-color information is an important feature to segment skin-color regions. To extract skin-color regions the skin-color model based on multi-layer perceptron has been proposed. Extracted regions are analyzed to emphasize ellipsoidal regions. The results from this study show good accuracy for our vehicle driver face detection system.
Hand region detection in images is an important process in many computer vision applications. It is a process that usually starts at a pixel-level, and that involves a pre-process of color space transformation followed by a classification process. A color space transformation is assumed to increase separability between skin classes for hands and non-skin classes for other parts, to increase similarity among different skin tones, and to bring a robust performance under varying illumination conditions, without any sound reasonings. In this work, we examine if the color space transformation does bring those benefits to the problem of hand region detection on a dataset of images with different hand postures, backgrounds, people, and illuminations. Results indicate that best of the color space is the normalized RGB.

Motion tracking and object segmentation are the most fundamental and critical problems in vision tasks such as motion analysis. An active contour model, snake, was developed as a useful segmenting and tracking tool for rigid or non-rigid objects. In this paper, the development of new snake model called 'adaptive color snake model (ACSM)' for segmentation and tracking is introduced. The simple operation makes the algorithm runs in real-time. For robust tracking, the condensation algorithm was adopted to control the parameters of ACSM. The effectiveness of the ACSM is verified by appropriate simulations and experiments.

Face detection and recognition in real-time video constitutes one of the recent topics in the field of computer vision. In this paper, we propose face detection and tracking algorithm using the skin color and haar-like feature in real-time video sequence. The proposed algorithm further includes color space to enhance the result using haar-like feature and skin color. Experiment results reveal the real-time video processing speed and improvement in the rate of tracking.

Widely used color information recognition methods based on the RGB color model with static fuzzy inference rules have limitations due to the model itself - the detachment of human vision and applicability of limited environment. In this paper, we propose a method that is based on HSI model with new inference process that resembles human vision recognition process. Also, a user can add, delete, update the inference rules in this system. In our method, we design membership intervals with sine, cosine function in H channel and with functions in trigonometric style in S and I channel. The membership degree is computed via interval merging process. Then, the inference rules are applied to the result in order to infer the color information. Our method is proven to be more intuitive and efficient compared with RGB model in experiment.

Motion segmentation is a fundamental technique for analysing image sequences of real scenes. A process of identifying moving objects from data is a typical task in many computer vision applications. In this paper, we propose motion segmentation that generally consists from background subtraction and foreground pixel segmentation. The Approximated Median Filter(AMF) was chosen to perform background modeling. Motion segmentation in this paper covers RGB video data.

With development of information technology and necessity for high security, using different identification methods has become very important. Each biometric feature has its own advantages and disadvantages and choosing each of them depends on our usage. Retinal scanning is a bio scale method for identification. The retina is composed of vessels and optical disk. The vessels distribution pattern is one the remarkable retinal identification methods. In this paper, a new approach is presented for identification via retinal images using LBP and hog methods. In the proposed method, it will be tried to separate the retinal vessels accurately via machine vision techniques which will have good sustainability in rotation and size change. HOG-based or LBP-based methods or their combination can be used for separation and also HSV color space can be used too. Having extracted the features, the similarity criteria can be used for identification. The implementation of proposed method and its comparison with one of the newly-presented methods in this area shows better performance of the proposed method.
Various techniques have been proposed for detection and tracking of targets in order to develop a real-world computer vision system, e.g., visual surveillance systems, intelligent transport systems (ITSs), and so forth. Especially, the idea of distributed vision system is required to realize these techniques in a wide-spread area. In this paper, we develop a ubiquitous vision system for location-awareness of multiple targets. Here, each vision sensor that the system is composed of can perform exact segmentation for a target by color and motion information, and visual tracking for multiple targets in real-time. We construct the ubiquitous vision system as the multiagent system by regarding each vision sensor as the agent (the vision agent). Therefore, we solve matching problem for the identity of a target as handover by protocol-based approach. We propose the identified contract net (ICN) protocol for the approach. The ICN protocol not only is independent of the number of vision agents but also doesn't need calibration between vision agents. Therefore, the ICN protocol raises speed, scalability, and modularity of the system. We adapt the ICN protocol in our ubiquitous vision system that we construct in order to make an experiment. Our ubiquitous vision system shows us reliable results and the ICN protocol is successfully operated through several experiments.
