반도체분야 공과대학 산업기여도 평가 사례 연구 (A Case Study of the Evaluation on the Contribution Made by Engineering Colleges to Industry - Particularly in the Field of Semiconductor Technology)

  • 본 연구는 반도체 설계 공정 분야에서 요구하는 지식과 스킬에 대하여 공과대학의 교육과정이 어느 정도 반영하고 있는지를 분석하기 위해 수행하였다. 공과대학 산업기여도 평가를 실시한 결과 산업계에서 요구하는 지식과 관련된 내용은 교육과정 반영정도는 높으나, 스킬과 관련된 내용은 반영정도는 낮았고, 산업계에서 요구하는 지식과 스킬이 대학에서 교과목으로 개설된 정도에 비해 졸업생들의 이수정도는 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 산업계 요구 지식 스킬에 대한 졸업생의 업무활용 만족도는 상대적으로 높았고, 기초역량에 비하여 직무역량이 대학교육에서의 습득정도가 다소 낮았으며, 대학별 평가결과, 학교간의 역점을 두는 교육과정에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 현재 전문대학의 자동차 학과에서 제공되는 교육이 이론교육에 치우쳐 실제 산업현장에서 적용과 응용능력에 문제점이 있다고 지적이 있어왔다. 이 연구는 창의적인 자동차설계 능력을 배양하기 위하여 A 대학의 모터스포츠 전공에서 차량 공기역학에 $CO_2$ 경주차 설계를 수행한 성공적인 수업내용의 사례를 살펴본다. $CO_2$ 모형 경주차 제작 규정, 제작 과정, 성능 시험 등시 제시 되었으며, $CO_2$ 모형 경주차의 속도 및 항력이 측정되었다. 공학설계가 학생들의 학습에 미친 영향을 알아보기 위하여 2008년 봄 학기에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사에 따른면 학생들의 공학설계 능력과 만족도에 높은 가치를 부여하였다.

  • Recent changes in health problems as well as the health delivery system demand expanding nursing roles to improve quality care and at the same time provide cost-effective health services. Nursing leaders of the future will be expected to be excellent care givers who are well prepared as researchers and managers and administrators. The purpose of developing an ND program is to train nursing leaders for the future. The program objective are to demonstrate the role as 1) an advanced practitioner who will provide theory based practice 2) a researcher and manager The target population of the ND program is as follows : 1) Nurses with a BSN degree who are seeking to advance on the career ladder 2) Non-nursing BS, BA graduates who are seeking nursing as a second career 3) Transfer students who are mature and motived to be nursing leaders It is believed that the ND program would meet the diverse needs for potential students, for their role in nursing and the health delivery system and create a meaning and challenging position in the profession of nursing. A task force team was organized to develop the ND program and its activities are as follows; 1) Information on ND programs were collected from 3 universities and reviewed 2)An advanced education needs assessment was completed and it was found that 87.6% of the subjects responded positively about advanced degree work. 3) A tentative curriculum for an ND program was developed. It is a great challenge to develop a new program for nursing however, it is also our task and responsibility to further the development of nursing.

산업체 수요지향적 교과과정에 대한 연구 (A Study on a Curriculum Based on the Demands of the Industry)

  • 최근 대학 졸업생들의 취업경쟁이 점점 치열해 지고 있다. 이공계 졸업생도 예외는 아니며 졸업생들이 산업체에 취업했을 때 현장에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 재학시절 교육을 잘 하는 것이 교육자로서 중요한 임무중 하나이다. 그러나 실제로 졸업생들이 취업을 했을 때 회사에서 재교육을 해야만 하는 경우가 많으므로 산업체에서도 애로점이 많다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 기업체의 요구를 교과에 반영하는 산업체 수요지향적인 교과과정 개편에 관한 방법을 제안한다. 여기서는 저자가 속해 있는 대학의 컴퓨터학과에 적용한 경험을 바탕으로 제안하였는데 타 대학 관련학과에서도 제안하는 방법을 적용하여 교과의 교육 지향 방향이 산업체의 기술 변화 추이에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 산업체가 재교육을 실시하지 않고 졸업과 동시에 실무에 투입할 수 있는 산학일체형 인력을 양성할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

A survey on the impact of a pharmacovigilance practice training course for future doctors of Korean medicine on their knowledge, attitudes, and perception

  • Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a training course on pharmacovigilance for future doctors of Korean medicine (DKM). Methods: In 2020, a pharmacovigilance training course was conducted for 57 senior students of a Korean medicine (KM) college, and its impact to the students were assessed in terms of the knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of these students at three-time points: pre-training, post-training, and 4-6 months after the end of the training. Results: A total of 38 students completed the survey. The average score from the knowledge test increased significantly after training compared to prior to the training (5.47±2.140, 6.61±1.001, respectively, p<0.001) and was maintained until the final survey (6.61±1.220). The rate of correct answers to most of the knowledge test questions increased after the training but decreased in the final survey. In terms of attitudes, self-confidence in causality assessment (2.63±1.025, 4.58±0.826, p<0.001) and spontaneous reporting (2.08±1.050, 4.74±0.446, p<0.001) significantly increased after the training and then slightly decreased (3.92±1.171, 4.40±0.755). The perception level was high prior to the training, and this pattern was maintained throughout the study period. Students responded that pharmacovigilance education was necessary for DKM after training, and for the undergraduates of KM colleges. Conclusions: This study shows that this pharmacovigilance training course is effective for students majoring in KM but that retraining is required at least 6 months after the initial training. Further follow-up studies are needed to ensure that students actively participate in spontaneous reporting after graduation, and continuous education should be provided to graduates.

대전 일부 치위생학과와 간호학과 재학생 및 졸업생의 전공과 업무 만족도 비교 (Comparison of Major and Job Satisfaction of Students and Graduates in Dental Hygiene and Nursing)

  • 본 연구는 2013년 5월 15일부터 2013년 7월 1일까지 대전 K대학교에 3, 4학년에 재학 중인 치위생학과 학생 98명, 간호학과 학생 113명, 대전 지역에서 병의원에서 근무하는 치과위생사 53명, 간호사 53명을 대상으로 하였다. 치위생학과와 간호학과의 재학생 및 졸업자의 전공만족도와 직무만족도를 알아보고 재학생의 직무에 대한 기대수준과 실제 임상에서의 직무만족도를 비교 분석하였다. 1. 치위생학과 재학생과 치과위생사는 간호학과 재학생과 간호사에 비해 학과생활만족도, 사회적 인식 만족도, 진로방향만족도가 유의하게 낮았으나, 업무만족도에 있어서는 간호사에 비해 유의한 차이가 없었다. 2. 학과생활만족도에서 치과위생사는 대학 교육과정과 임상 업무와의 연관성에 관한 만족도가 다른 군에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. 3. 사회적 인식 만족도에서 치위생학과 재학생과 치과위생사는 간호학과 재학생과 간호사에 비해 인기학과로 인식, 가족들의 자부심, 직업의 사회적 지위 만족도가 유의하게 낮았으며 치과위생사는 전문영역으로서의 존중, 치위생학과 재학생은 전공추천 부문이 가장 낮았다. 4. 진로방향만족도에서 치위생학과 재학생과 치과위생사는 진로방향에 관한 정보제공 및 상담, 직장의 안정성, 대학원 진학 희망 부문에 있어서 간호학과 재학생과 간호사에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. 5. 업무만족도에서 보수, 근무조건이 가장 불만족한 요인으로 나타났으며 간호사가 다른 군에 비해 보수, 근무조건 만족도가 가장 낮았다. 6. 학과생활만족도, 진로방향만족도, 사회인식만족도, 업무만족도의 상관분석 결과, 업무만족도와 진로방향만족도의 상관계수 값이 가장 높았고 각 변수간의 뚜렷한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 치과위생사에 대한 사회적 인식, 진로, 대학생활에 대한 만족도는 간호사에 비해 저조하나 실제 업무의 만족도에 있어서는 두 직군간의 차이가 없는 것으로 판단된다. 치위생(학)과가 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 치과위생사에 대한 사회적 인식을 높이기 위한 치위생계의 노력, 치과위생사의 안정된 업무 실현을 위한 치과계의 변화, 실제 임상과 밀접한 대학 교육과정의 개발 및 변화가 필요하다. 또한, 치위생학과 학생 및 졸업자에 대한 진로방향에 관한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 오프라인 상담, 온라인 관련 매체 등이 마련된다면 업무만족도가 증가할 것으로 생각된다.

영양서비스업무를 수행하는 사업체급식소 영양사의 직무만족 및 직무특성 분석 (An Analysis on the Job Satisfaction and Job Characteristic for the dietitians who perform Nutrition Service in the field of Industry Foodservice)

  • This study has been focused on understandings for the problems of dietitian who perform nutrition service in the field of industry foodservice and then focused on using of its findings as basic material for smooth nutrition service performance through analyzing job satisfaction, job characteristic and its importance of dietitians' task in industry foodservice. A questionnaire survey of 120 nutritionists who have engaged themselves in industry foodservice―60 are under direct management and 60, held in trust―has been performed, and 95 responses (79%) have been collected and categorized, except some unfinished responses. The examined data have been classified statistically by using of SPSS, and then analyzed into frequency, percentage, mean value, standard deviation, and correlation among factors, according to questionnaires. The findings of the research can be summarized as following: The details of the surveyed dietitians were: 20-25 years old on an average; working less than two years; college graduates; mere employees; receiving monthly pay of 70~100 won on an average; working more than 52 hours weekly; and providing with four meals a day in a single menu. For job satisfaction and job characteristic, the service itself and the understanding of the service appear as main features. For the relative importance of the service, the findings show that the menu making, sanitation and cost control occupy an important position, while nutrition counseling, nutrition education and dietary control by ailments make up very low portion. For the cause of not enacting the nutrition service, the lack of counseling ability and the overburden of food service are at the top. The findings of this research, therefore, present the needs of the service capacity education and the reduction of excessive foodservice hours of dietitians in order to secure the efficient nutrition service in industry foodservice. To achieve this goal, first of all, there should be an intensive education course in school by using of practice hours. for enhancing practical service adaptability, and then the computerization of foodservice should be executed perfectly to reduce the excessive foodservice hours.

Peculiarities of Education Quality Assurance in Lithuania

  • Achievement of objectives of education and training is one of significant factors influencing quality of life. Higher education institutions use different work, teaching methods and tools; however they are inadequate in many cases. Today higher education institutions have problems concerning sustention and rise of certain level of education by giving the job for graduates, using of new technologies that help to present, manage, evaluate and control knowledge. The main objectives of quality management system (QMS) at higher education institutions are as follow: to assure continuous improvement of education quality; to demonstrate performance results and relevant facts to the interested parties (customers of college or university, social partners, administrative institutions) showing the abilities of education institution to prepare high qualification specialists that fully correspond to changing requirements of labour market. The QMS at education institutions should be designed as continuous process, considering that the quality of final product is the result achieved in primary processes. The process shall involve all interested parties. Parameters and indicators of education quality can help to analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of existing QMS. The results of quality audits should be also taken into account when designing and implementing QMS at organization. Literature review showed that for the assurance of education quality three different approaches prevail: total quality management (TQM); requirements of quality awards and assessment models; and QMS corresponding to the requirements of ISO 9001 standard. The case study of QMS design and implementation at Vilnius Law and Business College is presented in the paper. The peculiarities, difficulties and obstacles of QMS implementation in the higher educations institutions are analysed in more detail in this article.

국내 간호대학(학과)의 학사 편입학 과정의 현황과 발전 전략 (Accelerated second-degree bachelor of science in nursing program in South Korea: Current status and future directions)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe characteristics of colleges implementing the accelerated second-degree bachelor of science in nursing program in South Korea and provide insight into strategies to improve the program outcomes. Methods: An on-line questionnaire developed for this study was emailed to deans of nursing colleges who were members of the Korean Association of College of Nursing. Questions included items related to nursing college, students, curriculum, and anticipated difficulty in relation to an increase of the number of second-degree students. Results: Out of 117 nursing schools, 33 schools (28.2%) participated in the on-line survey. The actual number of second-degree students and their ratio (about 10%) to regular students significantly increased in 2019. Male students were enrolled nearly twice as many times as regular students. Among the anticipated difficulties, clinical practice institutions (3.94) and clinical practice instructors (3.73) showed relatively higher scores than other difficulties such as teaching (3.58) and education facilities (3.30). Conclusion: In order to improve the quality of nursing education for second-degree students, more nursing faculties and innovative clinical practice support systems are needed. Future study is warranted to investigate the educational experience of second-degree students and graduates.

안동지역 물리치료사들의 피로자각증상여부에 대한 조사 (A Survey on Fatigue Awareness Amongst Physical Therapist at Andong City in the Kyung Sang Puk Do Area)

  • Participants of this 1998 survey included 100 physical therapists working in hospitals located in Andong City. 77.7% of the participants were in their twenties and 20.2% in their forties. 46.4% of the participants were 3rd year students at a junior college, and 1.0% were college graduates. 67.6% of the participants had less than 5 years experience and 1.0% 16 years experience in their field. 59.6% of the participants were married. Regarding questions about occupational satisfaction, many of the participants replied "normal" for the first and third questions, and few answered "very much". Most of the participants answered "normal" for all the questions concerning their work environment with few replying "very much". With regards to awareness of the physical signs of fatigue, "occasionally, yes" were the most frequent answers. Regarding awareness of the psychological signs of fatigue, the similar proportions of participants answered "occasionally, yes" as that for "feeling nothing". Similarly, with regard to awareness of the neuro-sensitive signs of fatigue, there was a similar ratio of participants answering "occasionally, yes" and "feel nothing". It can be concluded that there are many causes of fatigue amongst physical therapists. Improvements in daily nutrition, mental health and general well-being are important in tackling these problems. It appears that fatigue amongst physical therapists may be cumulative and due to prolonged working hours To promote better daily functioning and early recovery from fatigue, appropriate assignments of working and resting hours are necessary. They would also benefit the prevention of symptomatic problems in the waist and shoulder.
