Determination of partial molal volumes of anilinium chloride isopropanol-water mixtures at 30.00$^{\circ}$showed a distinct minimum at 0.20 mole fraction isopropanol. This was interpreted as maximum in electrostriction effect and minimum in water structure. The depth in $\bar{V}^{\circ}$for alcohol-water mixtures was in the order MeOH > i-PrOH > EtOH, which indicated the importance of microscopic structure around ions.

The synthesis and regioselective reactions of a chiral allyl sulfide. (S)-(+)-(1-methylpyrrolidin-2-yl)methyl allyl sulfide (MAS, 1) are described. Remarkable ${\alpha}-regioselectivity$ was observed in the alkylation of the carbanion of MAS while 1:3 mixtures of ${\alpha}-and\;{\gamma}-adducts$ were produced in the addition of the MAS anion to aldehydes. However, a dramatic change of the regioselectivity was witnessed when Lewis acids such as $Et_3Al$, $Et_3B$, and $Ti(O^iPr)_4$ were used as additives in the addition reaction. In these cases, ${\alpha}-adducts$ were formed exclusively. A rationale for the change of regioselectivity is provided. And the stereochemical aspect of the addition reaction is also described.

Now more than ever, many journalists are using hospitals' homepages for articles about hospitals, their mission, research, and events. Therefore hospitals' homepages have to be planned and constructed for journalists. The purpose of this study is to investigate hospitals' online media relations through analysing homepages. For investigating specifically, this study compares hompages of hospitals in Korea and hospitals in USA. This study uses four categories; basic media relations tools, useful information, interactive communication tools, and ease of use for journalists. The result of this study shows that hospitals' homepages in Korea are needed to improve for building with journalists. The hospitals' hompages have to be constructed by a variety of materials; press room, image and graphic archives, multimedia resources, and interactivity or responsiveness. This study suggests that the hospitals' homepages have the potential to achieve the desired public relations objective but are not commonly being used to their full potential in media relations.

With PV market extension, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) went on the floor as an effective method so solve the reduction phenomenon of Performance Ratio (PR) of PV power plant and as a new business model of photovoltaic industry. This study chose institutionalization of O&M to vitalize domestic photovoltaic industry improving level of photovoltaic technology and dominate the market in advance. The result of analyzing advanced researches and domestic cases indicates that O&M is essential of operating PV power plant, therefore, now is the time for a systematic approach to establish O&M policy.

Breast cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer death among woman, worldwide, despite advances in identifying novel targeted therapies and the development of treating strategies. Classification of clinical subtypes (ER+, PR+, HER2+, and TNBC (Triple-negative)) increases the complexity of breast cancers, which thus necessitates further investigation. Mouse models used in breast cancer research provide an essential approach to examine the mechanisms and genetic pathway in cancer progression and metastasis and to develop and evaluate clinical therapeutics. In this review, we summarize tumor transplantation models and genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs) of breast cancer and their applications in the field of human breast cancer research and anti-cancer drug development. These models may help to improve the knowledge of underlying mechanisms and genetic pathways, as well as creating approaches for modeling clinical tumor subtypes, and developing innovative cancer therapy.

We propose a framework called Stacked Gated Recurrent Unit - Infrequent Residual Analysis (SG-IRA) that detects anomalies in time-series data that can be trained on streams of raw sensor data without any pre-labeled dataset. To enable such unsupervised learning, SG-IRA includes an estimation model that uses a stacked Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) structure and an analysis method that detects anomalies based on the difference between the estimated value and the actual measurement (residual). SG-IRA's residual analysis method dynamically adapts the detection threshold from the population using frequency analysis, unlike the baseline model that relies on a constant threshold. In this paper, SG-IRA is evaluated using the industrial control systems (ICS) datasets. SG-IRA improves the detection performance (F1 score) by 5.9% compared to the baseline model.

Let R ⊆ L ⊆ S be ring extensions. Two star operations ${\ast}_1{\in}Star(R,S)$, ${\ast}_2{\in}Star(L,S)$ are said to be linked if whenever $A^{{\ast}_1}= R^{{\ast}_1}$ for some finitely generated S-regular R-submodule A of S, then $(AL)^{{\ast}_2}=L^{{\ast}_2}$. We study properties of linked star operations; especially when ${\ast}_1$ and ${\ast}_2$ are strict star operations. We introduce the notion of Prüfer star multiplication extension ($P{\ast}ME$) and we show that under appropriate conditions, if the extension R ⊆ S is $P{\ast}_1ME$ and ${\ast}_1$ is linked to ${\ast}_2$, then L ⊆ S is $P{\ast}_2ME$.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of Korean ginseng (KG), Korean red ginseng (KRG) and fermented Korean red ginseng (FKRG) extracts on cerebral hemodynamics and to compare distinction of each extract. Methods: Ten healthy male volunteers $(26.0{\pm}1.8yrs)$ participated in the study according to double-blind and cross-over protocols. Each volunteer was blindly administered 500mg of KG, KRG, FKRG extract or placebo (Dextrin). Blinded researchers measured changes of hyperventilation-induced cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR), mean blood flow velocity (MBFV) of middle cerebral arteries (MCAs) and corrected blood flow velocity at $P_{ETCO2}=40mmHg$ (CV40) using transcranial Doppler ultrasound (DWL Co., Germany). Researchers also observed changes of mean blood pressure (MBP), pulse rate (PR) and expiratory $CO_2$ using S/5 Collector (Datex-Ohmeda Co., Finland). The evaluation was performed at basal condition, and repeated at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours after administration. Results: MBFV and CV40 in the KRG group tended to rise at I hour after administration, while those of the FKRG group tended to rise at 2 hours after administration. CVR increased significantly after 1 hour in the KRG group (p=0.009) and after 2 hours in the FKRG group (p=0.035), respectively. The KG group showed increasing tendency at 4 hours after administration. No group showed significant difference from the placebo in changes of MBP and PR. Conclusions: It is suggested that KG, KRG and FKRG extracts have effects of enhancing CVR and thus of increasing cerebral blood flow in human subjects.

Purpose: Oligomenorrhea is clinically important because it can be progressed to amenorrhea. The purpose of this study is to analyse Autonomic Nerve Function of some oligomenorrheic patients by using HRV(Heart Rate Variability). Methods: We studied 35 patients visiting OO Oriental Hospital from 1st November 2006 to 31th May 2007. One woman who takes antidepressant is excluded. 17 oligomenorrheic group and 17 normal menstrual cycle group were compared with HRV. The SPSS 12.0 for windows was used to analyze the data and Mann Whitney U-test were used to verify the results. Results: Mean PR, LF norm, LF/HF ratio of oligimenorrheic group are higher than normal menstrual cycle group. But there is no statistically significance. SDNN, RMS-SD, ln TP, ln VLF, ln LF, ln HF, HF norm of oligimenorrheic group are lower than normal menstrual cycle group. But there is no statistically significance. Conclusion: It can be suggested that oligomenorrhea can be related to increased activities of sympathetic nerve and decreased activities of general autonomic nerve function. But, we need study with more subjects for settling this.
