China has been experiencing a series of changes after gradually opening up its society. Such changes have now seeped into almost every sector of the society, leading to overall change. While the political system has been maintained without much change, the structure of life for Chinese has undergone a shift, especially in the sectors related to industry or the economy. The Chinese have adopted capitalism in their own way, leading to fast growth in their industries. Those who were born in the 1980s amidst such change (so-called the post-80s generation) are now playing a major role in Chinese society. Understanding this generation can help understand some of the most important phenomena in today's China. Therefore the language used by this generation is in particular meaningful as language often reflects the society it is used in. This study focuses on the newly created words arising from the lifestyles of the post-80s generation to better understand how the China's move towards a more open society over the past three decades have brought about changes. The work culture and consumption styles of the post-80s generation are also showing some collective characteristics. As such, a review of newly created Chinese words related to this generation is expected to increase understanding of the overall Chinese society and Chinese culture of today.

촛불집회는 한국 사회에서 국민들의 뜻을 비폭력적으로 전하는 상징으로 자리잡아왔다. 촛불집회는 문화적 행사라는 명목으로 정치적인 목적을 위해 시작되었다. 이렇듯 명목상 문화제로 시작되었던 촛불집회가 실제로 사람들에게 어떠한 문화적 의미를 지니는지 충분히 밝혀지지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구는 촛불집회 참가자들이 촛불집회에 어떠한 문화적 의미를 부여하는지 탐색해보고, 이를 통해 활동공중에 대한 이론적 틀을 확장하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 본 연구는 2008년과 2016년 촛불집회를 통해 총 47명의 촛불집회 참가자와의 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰 분석 결과, 촛불집회는 축제, 해학, 개인의 자유로운 표현공간으로 인식되고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이를 바탕으로 활동공중의 이론적 접근에 대한 논의 및 향후 연구 제언이 이루어진다.

For smart defense innovation, the key is to apply state-of-the-art technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to national defense. In order to apply state-of-the-art technology to the defense sector, we need to apply and develop technologies to analyze and respond to uncertain future operational environments. To this end, our military is investing a lot of time and effort. To understand future operational environment analysis and to apply and develop our military, we explored the perspectives of operational environment analysis in major countries and studied specific cases of U.S. troops with systematic analysis functions. The U.S. Army has established a cooperative system to analyze future operational environment under the leadership of the Education Command and operates the organization organically. It also utilizes the collective intelligence of expert groups in various fields by utilizing the MSC, and it is time for the Korean military to take the lead in keeping with the era of transformation. To that end, the organization of the U.S. Education Command should be benchmarked and the Korean Future Operation Environment Analysis Organization should be established and operated. Through this study, we have developed an understanding of the future operational environment analysis system of the U.S. Army and presented a plan to apply the ROK MND.

There are concerns about the influence of the gust wind caused by helicopters affecting the moving vehicles while hovering over the road during rescue activities. For the understanding of such complicated flow. numerical simulation of a rotor hovering above the ground has been carried out, changing the rotor/ground clearances. The rotor thrust is kept constant. and the rotor control is determined by trim adjustments incorporated into the CFD algorithm. Collective pitch angle and the required power decreases with the rotor/ground clearance which agrees with experience. Changes of the flowfield near the rotor with regard to the rotor height are investigated based on the calculated results.

Office interior design is based on the understanding of diversity information about working program, organization and networking system of the company. To build a good working environment, flexibility of space and communication between employees and employer in the office are very important. Due to the business growth, the "N" company requires more working space and this project is basically initiated to relocate in new working environment. This work pursues the clients can enhance more creativity and productivity in their working area. In order to promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment, diverse employee's working characteristic, individual and collective requirements have been observed. The basic concept of the design can be summarized in the following : youth, simplicity, modern and nature.

This study aims to present definite directions on practical insurance business and letter of credits through an analysis centering on each section of Article 28 of UCP600. Accordingly, we sought adefinite understanding of regulations on insurance documents and present things to be improved. And we speculate the issues on insurance documents focusing on excessive involvement of insurance in banking according to the convention of insurance business, each mortgage having liability according to contract based on the regulations on acceptance of collective insurance documents, problems in acceptance of expiry date recorded in insurance documents and alternatives. This study focuses on activation of insurance documents as contract documents of marine insurance, aiming to present interpretational base in a practical view rather than technological directions.

Colangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a progressively fatal disease which generally occurs due to malignant transformation of hepatic biliary cholangiocytes. The incidence of CCA has been increasing worldwide and there is an urgent requirement for effective diagnosis and treatment strategies against this devastating disease. Different factors including liver-fluke infestation, viral hepatitis, exogenous nitrosamine-mediated DNA damage, and chronic inflammation have been linked to CCA genesis. However, the risk factors and underlying complex mechanisms leading to development of CCA are not sufficiently understood to devise an effective targeted treatment therapy. In this review, we summarize currently known epidemiological and pathological aspects of the disease and briefly describe various potential biomarkers and experimental anticancer phytochemicals related to CCA research. In addition, we also sum up recent findings that link chronic inflammation of hepatic biliary cholangiocytes with CCA. The collective information concisely presented in this article would provide useful insights into the current understanding of this cancer.

This study recognizes that there is a correlation between the movement of the financial market and the sentimental changes of the public participating directly or indirectly in the market, and applies the relationship to investment strategies for stock market. The concerns that market participants have about the economy can be transformed to the search terms that internet users query on search engines, and search volume of a specific term over time can be understood as the economic trend of big data. Under the hypothesis that the time when the economic concerns start increasing precedes the decline in the stock market price and vice versa, this study proposes three investment strategies using casuality between price of domestic stock market and search volume from Naver trends, and verifies the hypothesis. The computational results illustrate the potential that combining extensive behavioral data sets offers for a better understanding of collective human behavior in domestic stock market.

Purpose - The study was designed to explore and examine the business relationships of the owners and the employees of Market Basket to analyze the implications of their recent turbulence and decisions. This article focused on two issues - business profit and labor union - to describe the uniqueness of this case. Design, methodology, data, and approach - This article, based on its purpose, applied all three approaches of case studies that are identified and described by Stake (1995), instrumental, intrinsic, and collective, to present the core nature of the issue and to improve and gain a clear understanding of this particular phenomenon. Results - The analysis of this case clearly indicates that seemingly dichotomous concepts of profit and employee welfare are not necessarily antithetical to each other Conclusions - The instant case of Market Basket serves as a testimonial for the rejection of the basic premises of corporate profits and labor unions. This case serves as a model and a practical example for many large retailers, especially the family operated retailers, and workers throughout the world.

The purpose of this study was to gain understanding about residential satisfaction and preference of the members of the future elderly generation who have an intention to develop senior congregate housing. The data for this study were collected from 600 participants who were in their 40s to 60s, residing in Seoul, and who have an intention to develop senior congregate housing. The data collection spanned from December 1st to 20th, 2004. The results of this study were as follows: Firstly, the respondents who had a higher level of education, higher income, and a high-ranking job showed relatively higher residential satisfaction with their present house. Similar satisfaction level came between their present house and expecting ones in their later life. Financial responsibility was the most serious expected problem when they continue living in the present house in the later life. It means that the economic ability is the primary factor that determines whether they will have a stable life later. Secondly, as for the preference for the senior housing developer type, the group who preferred collectively developed senior congregate housing far outnumbered the other who preferred independent developer type. Also, the group who preferred collective developer type had higher economic ability than that of the other. These results indicate that above all, economic competence is the must significant variable, which should be considered in the future life and residential planning for the elderly. Korean senior congregate housing models should be developed based upon elaborate research. It is also necessary to develop different types of housing, such as a more practical type and a high quality type, as well as to respond to different kinds of developmental objectives, such as marketability and public benefit.
