The purpose of this thesis is to suggest the new orientalism fashion through the comprehensive approach to analyze the art of the Tang dynasty, China. Tang dynasty has high culture, economy, polity and art. Also the character of Tang's culture is very international. Therefore that point is coincide with fusion culture in the early 2000's. As a method of accomplishing this research, the documents and fashion magazines related to the art and fashion were examined. Through analyzing the art in the Tang's related to fusion culture, reach a conclusion that the modern fashion has four characters. 1. The cause of high culture and economy, the trend of fashion was decorative 2. The cause of realism, the trend of fashion were modern and simple. 3. The cause of rhythmical line, the trend of fashion had natural drape. 4. The cause of globalism, the trend of fashion mixed east with west This research keep going for showing new orientalism and coinciding with 21th century's trend.

본 논문은 분산, 독립적인 다수의 문서 컬렉션으로부터의 검색결과를 병합하는 컬렉션 융합(collection fusion)문제에 대한 효과적인 랭킹방법을 제시한다. 일반적인 컬렉션 융합 문제란 분산되어 있는 다수의 문서 컬렉션에서 독립적이고 능동적인 검색기들의 검색결과를 효과적으로 랭킹(ranking) 병합하는 것인데, 각기 다른 특성을 가진 다수의 컬렉션을 동일한 검색기를 통하여 검색된 결과를 병합하는 환경과 서로 다른 알고리즘을 갖는 검색기를 통한 검색 결과 병합 환경으로 나누어 질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 특성을 갖는 다수의 컬렉션을 서로 다른 알고리즘을 갖는 검색기들을 통하여 검색한 결과를 병합하는 방법을 제시한다. 각 컬렉션에 학습 질를 넣어 얻은 정보를 토대로, 실제 질의를 넣었을 때 각각의 컬렉션에서 나온 결과가 통합 결과 집합에서 차지하는 비율과 각 문서의 순위를 결정한다. 기존 연구에서 사용한 방법들은 랜덤성에 의존한 비결정적인 랭킹 방법을 제시하거나, 단순하게 검색결과 집합의 문서 수를 바탕으로 인터리빙(interleaving)하는 방법을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 학습 질의에서 나온 정보를 기반으로 결정적이면서도 보다 효과적인 랭킹 방법을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to comprehend western style in fashion and to contemplate the hybrid tendency reflected on western style, thereby to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of the hybrid tendency of western style. For such purposes, this study first examines western style historically, in order to analyze hybrid tendency reflected on western style, and conduct a case study by analyzing photographic materials of pr t- -porter collection since 1980s. The result of this study is as follows: the hybrid tendency reflected on western style are modification and fusion of regional culture, adaptation and composition of subcultures, and appropriation of sexual minority culture. (1) Modification and fusion of regional culture is expressed in ethnic items and patterns of embroidery, mixing Mexican and Spanish, American Indian and American cultural references. (2) Adaptation and composition of subcultures emphasize traditional or vintage western style by mixing characteristics of western and other subcultures. (3) Appropriation of sexual minority culture is expressed in rhinestone chaps and fetish corset, glitter rodeo suit, reminiscent of drag or queer cultural references. The result of this study will provide basis which can be utilized in the development and educational background of fashion design.

This study intends to analyze T-shirt designs, particularly in connection with pop art. 444 pieces of T-shirts which conveyed the pop art spirits of well-known designers were selected for five years from 2001 to 2005, through fashion magazines(Collection: Dong-ah TV, Collezioni: Italy). The findings are as follows. As for formative characteristics of pop art in T-shirts, previous studies were analyzed to set classifications criteria such as popularization of images, eroticism, lettering and graffiti, assemblage. The design factor of the image popularization includes everyday images, cartoon, celebrities, and caricature. Everyday images ranked first followed by cartoon, caricature and celebrities. The design factor of eroticism ranges from the see-through look, partial exposure of human body, symbolization of underwear, and to printing of sexy images. The see-through look was ranked first, followed by partial exposure of human body, symbolization of underwear, and printing of sexy images. The design factor of lettering and graffiti encompasses letters, numbers, symbols and logos. Adoption of letters, numbers or symbols was ranked first, followed by brand logos and graffiti. The design factor of Assemblage is closely related to a three-dimensional effect. Varied expressions are possible: combination of two different textiles and fusion of textile and non-textile. Combination of two different textiles are higher than fusion of textile and non-textile.

Travel Time is an important characteristic of traffic conditions in a road network. Currently, there are so many road users to get a unsatisfactory traffic information that is provided by existing collection systems such as, Detector, Probe car, CCTV and Anecdotal Report. This paper presents the results achieved with Data Fusion Model, Hybrid Neuro Fuzzy System for on - line estimation of travel times using RTMS(Remote Traffic Microwave Sensor) and Probe Data in the signalized arterial road. Data Fusion is the most important process to compose the various of data which can present real value for traffic situation and is also the one of the major process part in the TIC(Traffic Information Center) for analyzing and processing data. On-line travel time estimation methods(FALEM) on the basis of detector data has been evaluated by real value under KangNam Test Area.

This study aims to identify the design of men's wear that has the characteristics of expressing maximalism in men's wear collection and contribute to the field of men's wear fashion which expects new, original, and experimental fashion styles to be created. When it comes to research contents, this study first identifies the concept and characteristics of expression of maximalism in such fields as literature and art and based on this, makes a case study of men's wear fashion designs shown in men's wear collection and then understands the type of characteristics of expressing maximalism and the characteristics related to its expressive method in men's wear design. The study findings are as follows: First, expansion referred to the extreme avant-garde that changed the concept of fashion design by expanding clothes or accessories or exaggerating silhouettes. Second, fanciness continued to appear as a tool to use the luxurious decorations that applied fancy handicraft techniques and express the world of original design. Third, fusion represented the expression of various charms from one work without making any classifications between the tradition and the present and between the east and the west. Fourth, fantasy indicated the expression of surrealistic images by expressing the unbounded imagination through creative ideas.

This study analyzed the group of experts who were related to cubism, selected among the works of 2010~2013 Paris Collection based on F.G.R.(Focus Group Research). According to the results of this study, there were appeared first, 'a one-piece dress' second, 'H silhouette' third, 'cotton', in case of item distribution and frequency. The analysis was done by using the manner of expression, cubical expression, exaggeration, distortion, dismantlement, geometrical division of face, mix-match look, wraparound repetition, asymmetric structure, etc. Based on the outcomes of the analysis on figurative design elements, this study adjusted three manners appearing on cubism fashion style. First, it was 'avant garde manner' of constitution or 'dismantlement' which was compiled into multi-view representations of overlaps and viewpoints by repetitive use of color tone trimming detail. Second, it was 'geomagnetic block placement' which expresses cubism with geometric partitioning of surface and separation of panel by cutting disintegration. Finally, it was 'distortion and simplification of silhouette' which is a distortion created by constitution-line pressed thin with silhouette. It maximizes the beauty of human body outline, which was distorted by three-dimensional-manipulation, and simplified by ellipsis for another shape for the extension or expansion of detail trimming.

Optimum tapping size and number for sap collection were investigated to minimize damage on tree growth and secure resources for sap by sap collection of Acer mono. The amounts of sap collected by tapping size of 12 mm, 10 mm and 8 mm was 189 L, 140 L and 193 L, respectively. Fusion rates by tapping size were 100% for 8 mm, 89% for 10 mm and 85% for 12 mm, respectively. Amount of sap by size and number of tapping were much at three, two and three tappings to small, middle and large diameter tree in case of 8 mm tapping, and it was large in quantity at two tappings of 12 mm tapping to large diameter tree, respectively. Trees tapped from one to three tappings of 8 mm size for small diameter tree with treatment of DB ointment (mixture of thiophane ointment and 2% bamboo charcoal powder) were completely filled up within 6 months. Diameter growth by number of tapping of 8 mm size was 0.60 mm for one tapping, 1.12 mm for two tappings and 0.47 mm for three tappings to small, middle and large diameter tree, respectively. In case of 12 mm tapping size, diameter growth was fast in the order of large (0.55 mm), middle (0.30 mm) and small (0.23 mm) diameter tree, respectively.

This paper presents a fusion approach to sentiment detection that combines multiple sources of evidence to retrieve blogs that contain opinions on a specific topic. Our approach to finding opinionated blogs on topic consists of first applying traditional information retrieval methods to retrieve blogs on a given topic and then boosting the ranks of opinionated blogs based on the opinion scores computed by multiple sentiment detection methods. Our sentiment detection strategy, whose central idea is to rely on a variety of complementary evidences rather than trying to optimize the utilization of a single source of evidence, includes High Frequency module, which identifies opinions based on the frequency of opinion terms (i.e., terms that occur frequently in opinionated documents), Low Frequency module, which makes use of uncommon/rare terms (e.g., "sooo good") that express strong sentiments, IU Module, which leverages n-grams with IU (I and you) anchor terms (e.g., I believe, You will love), Wilson's lexicon module, which uses a collection-independent opinion lexicon constructed from Wilson's subjectivity terms, and Opinion Acronym module, which utilizes a small set of opinion acronyms (e.g., imho). The results of our study show that combining multiple sources of opinion evidence is an effective method for improving opinion detection performance.

The purpose of this study is to make a contribution to men's fashion by analyzing changes related to excessive and decorative expressions of latest men's wear design in the viewpoint of Maximalism, and using the results to develop a new fashion style. Results of the study are as follows: The characteristics of Maximalism in men's wear collection in the last 5 years can be classified as 'Fusion Maximalism, 'Decorative Maximalism', 'Exaggerative Maximalism', 'Humorous Maximalism', and 'Duplicative Maximalism'. The characteristics of each type of Maximalism can be summarized as follows: First, Fusion Maximalism creates new men's fashion style by fusing designs from different cultures in clothing items as well as dismantling gender boundaries in clothing design, and by having designs which transcends time and space. Second, Decorative Maximalism expresses ambiguous decadence by implementing feminine decoration that applies handicraft technique, as well as exaggeratedly using details and trimmings of contrasting images, and applying women's clothing items. Third, Exaggerative Maximalism represents extreme avant-garde that changes the idea of fashion design by changing the styling or the exaggerated silhouette. Fourth, Humorous Maximalism expresses not only the creation of new men's fashion look, but also expresses humanism with exaggerative enjoyment and pleasant ideas. Fifth, Duplicative Maximalism expresses creative design by implementing vivid images of different period and culture, and reproducing successful images of the past into modern fashion.
