산학협력 코디네이터 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Study on the factors affecting the performance of the excellent Industry-University cooperation coordinator)

  • 산학협력의 성공요인 중의 하나인 "산학협력 코디네이터"를 통하여 기업은 대학 연구기관과의 밀접한 협력을 통해 기술경쟁력을 강화시키고 지속적인 성장을 꾀할 수 있다. 본 연구는 "우수 산학협력코디네이터"의 성공요인 분석을 통해 산학연관 각 주체간에 산학협력을 활성화하기 위한 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산학협력 코디네이터의 개인역량으로서 업무적극성은 산학협력코디네이터의 성과인 과제규모와 기술DB 발굴에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 기관의 지원의지로서 센터직원 수의 확보는 산학협력코디네이터의 성과인 과제규모, 코디네이터 과제도출, 신임교수 참여율에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 기업 교류 정도는 산학협력코디네이터의 성과인 과제규모, 기술DB 발굴, 신임교수 참여율에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 산학협력코디네이터의 개인적인 역량 중 조직유지와 센터장의 리더십, 지자체의 지원의지는 산학협력코디네이터의 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 관심과 확대를 통하여 더 적극적인 지원을 해 나가야 할 것이다.

Stakeholders' Opinion on the Desired Characteristics of Nursing School Graduates and Factors Concerning Nursing Curriculum Development in Thailand

  • Effective higher educational management in undergraduate nursing programs is an important issue from the viewpoint of stakeholders. This qualitative research aimed to examine the characteristics of nursing students and curriculum development of undergraduate nursing education from the opinions of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Saraburi, Thailand stakeholders. The population included 4 groups: 1) the alumni who have graduated within the past 5 years and currently work in primary, secondary, and tertiary care units, 2) the supervisors and colleagues of the alumni, 3) nursing lecturers, and 4) the current nursing students. The respondents who are the alumni, nursing lecturers, and current nursing student were selected using a purposive sampling, for the supervisors and colleagues were selected using snowball techniques. Semi-structured interview questions were used for data collection. Group discussions were conducted until saturation on 55 key informants. The qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis. Results showed the viewpoints of stakeholders on the characteristics of future nurse graduates were comprised of four elements: knowledge that meets standards; essential skills for self-development and lifelong learning process; good morals and professional ethics in providing nursing care; and nurse competencies in teamwork, communication, language, research, management, IT, life skills, and global literacy. The viewpoints on the development of the nursing curriculum focus on four elements: the learner, teaching and learning, course content, and instructor tasks. For learners, the admission criteria should include a minimum not only of knowledge, but also positive attitude, science, and art skills, since the nursing profession is both a science and the art of caring. Teaching and learning elements should be authentic, including exposure to real situations, an integrated network, and activities that improve nursing care. Course content was comprised of an updated curriculum, humanized nursing care, student center, theory and practice with moral integration, case-based study, critical thinking, multidisciplinary work, and love for the nursing profession. Instructor tasks are to elicit student ideas, provide opportunities to learn, support infrastructure, support technology use, and extra-curricular activities to develop the competencies of nursing students. Recommendations were that the curriculum administration should review the selection process of student candidates and instructional management to achieve expected outcomes of nursing characteristics in the future. The nurse lecturer should provide authentic and integrated instruction, decrease lecturing, cultivate a lifelong learning process, and sustain the nursing characteristics.

Child health promotion program in South Korea in collaboration with US National Aeronautics and Space Administration: Improvement in dietary and nutrition knowledge of young children

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Childhood obesity has become a global epidemic. Development of effective and sustainable programs to promote healthy behaviors from a young age is important. This study developed and tested an intervention program designed to promote healthy eating and physical activity among young children in South Korea by adaptation of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Mission X (MX) Program. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The intervention program consisted of 4 weeks of fitness and 2 weeks of nutrition education. A sample of 104 subjects completed pre- and post- surveys on the Children's Nutrition Acknowledgement Test (NAT). Parents were asked for their children's characteristics and two 24-hour dietary records, the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) at baseline and a 6-week follow-up. Child weight status was assessed using Korean body mass index (BMI) percentiles. RESULTS: At baseline, 16.4% (boy: 15.4%; girl: 19.2%) of subjects were overweight or obese (based on $BMI{\geq}85%tile$). Fat consumption significantly decreased in normal BMI children ($48.6{\pm}16.8g$ at baseline to $41.9{\pm}18.1g$ after intervention, P < 0.05); total NQ score significantly increased from 66.4 to 67.9 (P < 0.05); total NAT score significantly improved in normal BMI children (74.3 at baseline to 81.9 after the program), children being underweight (from 71.0 to 77.0), and overweight children (77.1 at baseline vs. 88.2 after intervention, P < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: The 6-week South Korean NASA MX project is feasible and shows favorable changes in eating behaviors and nutritional knowledge among young children.

경기북부 섬유패션산업 혁신을 위한 필요 정책요인 분석연구 (Study on Political Factors for Innovating Textile and Fashion Industry in Northern Gyeonggi Province)

  • 경기북부 지역 내 섬유패션산업은 23개 제조업종 중 가장 큰 비중(17.7%, 10인 이상 사업체 수 기준)을 차지하는 중추 기반산업이다. 하지만 소규모 공정별 임가공 업체가 대다수이고 최근 이 임가공업체에 오더를 주던 중대형 벤더의 해외이탈이 가속화됨에 따라 오더가 급감하고 있고 이로 인해 투자 감소로 이어지는 악순환 고리가 고착화되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이러한 악순환 고리를 끊고 경기북부 섬유패션산업의 구조 고도화를 위한 정책요인을 분석하고 구체적 정책 제언을 위해. 각종 산업통계 데이터를 조사, 분석하여 관련 산업규모의 변화추이, 경영환경 변화 등을 파악한 결과와 관련 문헌조사 등의 선행연구결과 및 산 학 연 관 전문가의 의견조사를 바탕으로 AHP 연구모형(4개 계층, 36개 요소)을 설계하였고. 계층 간 및 계층 내 요인(요소)들 간 쌍대비교를 통해 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위를 도출하였다. 또한 이 연구모형 및 그 도출 결과를 반영한 섬유패션산업의 비전, 전략, 핵심과제 및 세부추진과제를 구체적으로 제안하여 본 연구결과의 유용성 및 활용성을 제고하였다.

  • The 3rd Japan-Korea Workshop on Acupuncture and EBM was held at Kanazawa on June $16^{th}$. From Korea team, 4 papers were presented. Dr. Hahn introduced a new approach of data analysis on series of n-of-1 trials using the Bayesian statistics. It offered important information for the future n-of-1 trials. Dr. Park clearly demonstrated the significance of various sham devices proposed and stressed the importance of research questions when we choose the control intervention in RCT. Dr. Lee reported the results of survey in Korean Medical Doctors (KMD) for their point selection and techniques to the distal and local points. Dr. Kim presented the results of face to face survey on the KMD with 28 items for acupuncture treatment on the knee OA. Finally, a draft of protocol was introduced by Dr. Kim. The title was "multi-center, a randomized, single blinded, two arms, parallel-group study to compare the effectiveness and safety of 'individualized acupuncture' and 'standardized minimal acupuncture' in Korean and Japanese patients with knee osteoarthritis (Phase IV)". From Japan team, 7 speakers presented their comments and proposals on the protocol. Dr. Takahashi introduced several issues regarding n-of-1 trials and pointed out the importance of obtaining generalizability from n-of-1 trials. Dr. Shichidou pointed the importance of research design, selection of outcome measures and reduction of biases. Dr. Itoh presented the results of point selection for the knee OA based on the literature survey. Dr. Sumiya introduced several differences between KMD and Japanese acupuncturists based on the questionnaire used in KMD survey. Dr. Furuya demonstrated a result of press tack needle and its sham device on shoulder stiffness. Dr. Yamashita introduced the results of literature survey regarding adverse events occurred by acupuncture on knee OA. Dr.Tsukayama stressed the importance of responsibility of Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the conduction of clinical trials. After several issues were discussed, the need of continued meeting for final protocol development was agreed, then the workshop was closed.

인도양 다랭이어업의 어장관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Management of the Indian Ocean Tuna Fishing Grounds)

  • Tuna and tuna fishing extend over most of the tropical waters of the world oceans, especially, this study of the Indian Ocean and the fish and the fishing vessels are highly mobile. No country can deal in isolation with the problems of its tuna fishery and of any tuna fishery in its waters, without collaborating with other countries. This cooperation is often best established through some formal international mechanism. The essential requirements are for information-on the resources, the fishery, the trade-and to identify where management actions are needed to consore the resources or to maintain the economic or social function of the fishery. These will also usually require some form of international mechanism. With the changes in the Law of the Sea, the siuuation in respect of management of tuna-considered among the highly migratory species, requirng special treatment-has also changed. At present there are both uncertainty regarding tuna management and political arguments as to how such management can be best implemented. Bearing this in mind, together with the fact that only few tuna stocks have shown clear evidence of serious depletion through over-exploitation, present emphasis will be placed on information requirements. This study included compiling the data necessary to review the state of stoks in the Indian Ocean tuna fishing grounds. Information on the resources-where the fish are, their quantity, their movements, etc. is important, whether in planning development of new fisheries, or considering the need for collaboration with other countries (in ascertaining to what extent their catches may affect catches of the natoinal fleet) or for conservation measures. A major source of information is the statistics of for conservation measures. A major source of information is the statistics of catch and fishing effort from existing commercial vessels. These need to be assembled for all fisheries on the same stock on an oceanwide basis. The statistical data also need to be analysed and intepreted, and combined with biological data(e.g., on growth, mortality and migration rates) to provide information that is intelligible and useful for administrators and other decision-makers. This must also be undertaken on a resource-wide or ocean-wide basis. Finally, because of the world-wide similarities in the methods of datching, processing and marketing fish, there is a particular tut not exclusive need in those countries just beginning to develop their tuna fisheries-to have ready access to a syntheis of information on tuna, tuna biology and tuna fisheries and tuna fisheries economics and management on the Indian Ocean.

우리나라 개방형 혁신활동의 영향요인에 관한 실증분석 연구 (An Empirical Analysis of the Influence Factors on Open Innovation Activities in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 기술혁신 역량을 강화하기 위한 중요한 프레임워크로 논의되고 있는 개방형 혁신에 초점을 맞춰 개방형 혁신활동을 내향형 혁신활동과 외향형 혁신활동을 구분하고, 영향요인을 환경특성, 기업특성, 재도특성으로 분류하여 국내 149개 제조기업의 설문응답 내용을 토대로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 환경특성 요인의 경우 시장경쟁정도와 기술변화정도가 내향형 혁신활동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기업들이 시장경쟁정도가 심해지거나 기술변화정도가 높아질 경우, 자사의 기술 개발 촉진 및 시장에서의 우위를 유지하거나 선점하기 위하여 공동연구, 사용자 혁신 등 외부로부터의 기술도입 및 외부의 정보활용에 노력을 기울인다는 의미로 해석될 수 있다. 기업특성 요인의 경우, 내향형 혁신활동은 연구개발인력, 연구개발투자, 국제화사업건수, 해외수출, 조직문화 개방성에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 외향형 혁신활동은 국제화조직특성, 기업가정신(역량특성)에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기업들이 내향형 혁신활동을 강화하기 위해서는 우선적으로 연구인력, 연구비 등의 R&D 투입요소의 증대에 관심을 갖아야 됨을 의미하며, 반면 외향형 혁신활동을 높이기 위해서는 국제화 전담조직을 육성하며, CEO도 독자적인 내부 기술혁신활동에 기업가정신을 발휘하기 보다는 개방적이고 협력적인 기술혁신활동에 기업가정신을 집중해야 됨을 의미한다. 제도특성 요인의 경우 내향형 혁신활동에서는 기술네트워킹에 의해, 외향형 혁신활동의 경우 산업클러스터 입주여부 및 기술네트 워킹에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 정부에서 제도적으로 개방형 혁신활동을 촉진시키기 위해서는 산업클러스터 조성과 기업들의 기술네트워킹 확대에 노력을 기울여야 함을 의미한다.

소아 ${\cdot}$ 청소년 우울장애의 생물학적 연구 (BIOLOGICAL STUDIES IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT DEPRESSION)

  • 성인기 우울증의 생물학적인 연구는 25년 이상의 역사를 가지고 있으나, 소아 또는 청소년기 우울증에 있어서의 생물학적인 연구는 아직 초보 단계이다. 그러나 현재까지 연구된 바에 의하면, 결론을 내리기는 시기 상조이나, 소아 또는 청소년기의 우울증에 있어서도 생물학적인 이상소견이 원인의 일부로 작용할 가능성은 크다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 생물학적 소견은 연령이나 사춘기의 변화가 소아 또는 청년기의 우울증의 생물학적인 이상 소견과 관계가 있을 가능성이 크다. 성인기내에서도 나이에 따라서 생물학적인 이상 소견이 다르게 나타날 수 있기 때문에 성인의 연령도 구분하여야 할 필요성이 강조된다. 따라서 성인기에서의 연구가 소아 또는 청소년기의 생물학적인 소견을 이해하는데 있어서 도움이 되기는 하지만, 소아 또는 청소년기의 생물학적인 소견을 해석할 때에는 반드시 성장, 발달, 연령 및 사춘기의 변화를 고려하여야 한다. 이러한 소견을 이해하는데 있어서는 정상 아동에 있어서의 신경전달물질계 및 수용체의 개체발생적인 과정이 반드시 밝혀져야 한다. 발달학적인 측면에서의 신경생물학적인 연구, 이와 행동상의 특징과의 상호관계가 규명되어야 하며, 이에는 동물실험 모델의 개발이 필수적이다. 왜냐 하면, 윤리적인 문제로 아동들을 연구하는데 있어서 많은 제한점이 있기 때문이다.

Comparison of 3D Volumetric Subtraction Technique and 2D Dynamic Contrast Enhancement Technique in the Evaluation of Contrast Enhancement for Diagnosing Cushing's Disease

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the performance of the T1 3D subtraction technique and the conventional 2D dynamic contrast enhancement (DCE) technique in diagnosing Cushing's disease. Materials and Methods: Twelve patients with clinically and biochemically proven Cushing's disease were included in the study. In addition, 23 patients with a Rathke's cleft cyst (RCC) diagnosed on an MRI with normal pituitary hormone levels were included as a control, to prevent non-blinded positive results. Postcontrast T1 3D fast spin echo (FSE) images were acquired after DCE images in 3T MRI and image subtraction of pre- and postcontrast T1 3D FSE images were performed. Inter-observer agreement, interpretation time, multiobserver receiver operating characteristic (ROC), and net benefit analyses were performed to compare 2D DCE and T1 3D subtraction techniques. Results: Inter-observer agreement for a visual scale of contrast enhancement was poor in DCE (${\kappa}=0.57$) and good in T1 3D subtraction images (${\kappa}=0.75$). The time taken for determining contrast-enhancement in pituitary lesions was significantly shorter in the T1 3D subtraction images compared to the DCE sequence (P < 0.05). ROC values demonstrated increased reader confidence range with T1 3D subtraction images (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.94-1.00) compared with DCE (95% CI: 0.70-0.92) (P < 0.01). The net benefit effect of T1 3D subtraction images over DCE was 0.34 (95% CI: 0.12-0.56). For Cushing's disease, both reviewers misclassified one case as a nonenhancing lesion on the DCE images, while no cases were misclassified on T1 3D subtraction images. Conclusion: The T1 3D subtraction technique shows superior performance for determining the presence of enhancement on pituitary lesions compared with conventional DCE techniques, which may aid in diagnosing Cushing's disease.

초고전압 투과전자현미경의 원격제어 및 데이터 획득 시스템 (Remote Access and Data Acquisition System for High Voltage Electron Microscopy)

  • 가속전압 1.3MV의 초고전압투과전자현미경의 원격제어 시스템을 개발하였다. 초고전압투과전자현미경의 운영을 위한 필수적인 기능, 즉 stage조정, 시편의 tilting, TV카메라 선택과 영상 저장 등을 원격 운영시스템에 그대로 적용하였다. 특히 이 시스템은 간단한 웹 접속만으로 goniometer를 완벽하고 정밀하게 제어할 수 있으며 고해상도 디지털카메라를 제어할 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다. 일체의 현미경 제어 신호 및 교신은 글로리아드 망을 통하여 이루어지도록 하였다. 이는 HVEM원격 운영시스템을 이용하여 국내는 물론 국제적인 공동 연구를 수행할 수 있는 가상 실험실 구축을 실현할 수 있음을 시사한다.
