초음속 노즐 출구에 비대칭적으로 설치한 램프 탭의 성능 연구 (A Study on the Performance of Ramp Tabs Asymmetrically Installed in the Supersonic Nozzle Exit)

  • 추력방향제어는 발사 직후 비행체를 임의의 방향으로 급선회해야 할 경우에 초음속 노즐의 배출가스 방향을 조절하여 측력과 모멘트를 형성시키는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 압축공기를 이용한 비 연소시험으로 초음속유동 시험장치를 이용하여 기계적 편향판인 램프 탭의 설치위치에 따라 성능연구를 수행하였다. 밀도변화에 따라 유동장을 관찰할 수 있는 쉬리렌 장치를 이용하여 램프 탭 내부에서 발생하는 유동장 구조와 경사충격파의 위치 등을 가시화하였다. 아울러 각 방향에 작용하는 제어 힘, 추력손실 및 표면 압력 분포 등을 도시분석하였다.

500hPa면 순환특성을 중심으로 한 동계 이상 한.난월의 종관기후학적 연구 -1992년과 1984년의 1월의 경우- (A Study of the Synoptic Climatology on the January's Cold and Warm Winter Especially in 600hPa Circulation : Case Study 1992 and 1984 in January)

  • 본 연구는 지표상의 기상 요소의 분포 특성이 이압계(氣壓系)뿐만 아니라 기압계를 지배하는 상충대기의 상층대기의 환류(還流)의 특성과도 밀접한 관계가 있음을 기준하여, 우리나라에 있어서 지난 30년간($1965{\sim}1994$) 28개 관측지점을 대상으로 동계 기온을 표준편차(標準偏差)에 의해 분류하였으며, 여기서 나타난 이상한(異常寒) 난월(暖月) 중 대표적인 1992년(이상난한동월(異常暖寒冬月), EH)과 1984년(이상한동월(異常寒冬月), EL)의 1월에 있어 500hPa면 고도 특성 및 몇 가지의 분석을 통하여 한 난동월의 특징을 살펴보았다. 난동월(暖冬月)에서는 강수량이 많았다. 우리나라의 경우 500hPa면은 난동월(暖冬月)에는 trough를 한동월(寒冬月)에는 남북유형(南北類型)유형을 나타내고 있다. 순환의 특징에서 우리나라 부근의 500hPa면 고도는 난동월년이 1984년에 비해 높았고, 동서지수에 있어서도 난동월이 높았다. 이외에도 환류형과 환류파수형에서는 난동월이 M형의 3파수, 1984년이 5형의 3파수(波數)로 나타나 단지 파수형(波數型)만으로는 한(寒) 난동월(暖冬月)을 구분하기가 어려운 것으로 밝혀지고 있다. 지상 기압에 있어서는 한동월이 난동월에 비해 서고동저(西高東底)의 기압배치가 강하게 나타나고 있다. 향후 동계 전월에 관해 850hPa면의 분석 등을 추가한 좀 더 포괄적인 연구를 하고자 한다.

에어컨 온도변동에 따른 생리신호 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study of Physiology Signal Change by Air Conditioner Temperature Change)

  • This study evaluates thermal comfort by air conditioner temperature raising at the point of time that human body begins to adapt. Thermal comfort according to change of time enters by uncomfortable area gradually at general cold room temperature that magnetic pole is in human body. However, can know that keep continuous thermal comfort in case raise temperature in human body adaptation visual point. Experiments were performed in environmental chamber. Subjects were selected 4 men and 4 women whose life cycle were proved that are similar. The subjects stay in the pretesting room during the 30 minutes and enter the testing room under each experiment conditions. During the experiment, brain wave, electrocardiogram, blood pressure and thermal comfort and sensation responses were measured. In this study, physiological and psychological responses correspond under temperature raising at human body adaptation.

4단 압연기용 작업롤의 표면조도가공 특성과 판면조도 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Texturing Characteristics of Work Roll and Variation of Strip Surface Roughness in 4-Hi Mill)

  • Work roll wear in the cold rolling of steel strip is strongly affected by rolling materials, rolling conditions and lubrication. Tests were performed to find the effects of rolling materials under the same lubricating conditions. Surface roughness of cold rolled steel strip as well as the coating technique itself is quite improtant in obtaining high image clarity of electronic products and car outer panels. Therefore this paper reviews for improvement of roughness and peak count about the surface of Cr coated work roll is investigated from the actual temper mill. The conclusions were obtained as follows; 1) Work roll wear in the cold rolling of steel strip is strongly affected by carbon contents of rolling materials, but there is not a separating force and total reduction ratio. 2) The roughness of strip surface is larger in the direction of width than in roll direction. 3) The electro-discharge textured roll has more uniform roughness distribu- tion than shot blasted roll and it's life time is two times longer than shot blasted because it has more harmonic wave roughness, and the higher peak count of surface roughness. 4) The life time of Cr coated work roll is 2 times longer than that of shot blasted work roll and variation of peak count, roughness and life time of Cr coated work roll is similar to electro-discharge texturing work roll. 5) The proper Cr coating thickness is 10 .mu. m at the work roll of temper mill.

Elastic local buckling behaviour of corroded cold-formed steel columns

  • Under the long-term effect of corrosive environment, many cold-formed steel (CFS) structures have serious corrosion problems. Corrosion leads to the change of surface morphology and the loss of section thickness, which results in the change of instability mode and failure mechanism of CFS structure. This paper mainly investigates the elastic local buckling behavior of corroded CFS columns. The surface morphology scanning test was carried out for eight CFS columns accelerated corrosion by the outdoor periodic spray test. The thin shell finite element (FE) eigen-buckling analysis was also carried out to reveal the influence of corrosion surface characteristics, corrosion depth, corrosion location and corrosion area on the elastic local buckling behaviour of the plates with four simply supported edges. The accuracy of the proposed formulas for calculating the elastic local buckling stress of the corroded plates and columns was assessed through extensive parameter studies. The results indicated that for the plates considering corrosion surface characteristics, the maximum deformation area of local buckling was located at the plates with the minimum average section area. For the plates with localized corrosion, the main buckling shape of the plates changed from one half-wave to two half-wave with the increase in corrosion area length. The elastic local buckling stress decreased gradually with the increase in corrosion area width and length. In addition, the elastic local buckling stress decreased slowly when corrosion area thickness was relatively large, and then tends to accelerate with the reduction in corrosion area thickness. The distance from the corrosion area to the transverse and longitudinal centerline of the plate had little effect on the elastic local buckling stress. Finally, the calculation formula of the elastic local buckling stress of the corroded plates and CFS columns was proposed.

역변태 온도 및 시간이 다른 STS316L의 기계적 및 탄성파 특성 (Mechanical and Elastic Wave Properties of STS316L with Different Reverse Transformation Temperature and Time)

  • In this study, the mechanical properties of 80% cold-rolled austenitic 316L stainless steel were evaluated using specimens subjected to reverse transformation at 500-750℃ for 20 minutes and reverse transformation at 700℃ for 2-60 minutes. Also, for the elastic wave obtained from the tensile test, the dominant frequency according to the reverse transformation condition was investigated by time-frequency analysis. The SEM image of the 80% cold-rolled material was transformed into martensite and showed line and cross shapes. The TEM image showed that line shapes were shown at the grain, and grain boundary of martensite. The higher the heat treatment temperature and the longer time, the larger the grain. Tensile strength decreased as the heat treatment temperature and time increased, but elongation increased. Hardness was proportional to tensile strength. This is because the grain with different directions showed the same direction due to reverse transformation. The dominant frequency was decreased and then increased as the temperature and time increased. This is because the direction of the grain is different at a low temperature and the same direction is shown at a high temperature.

연소실에서 1/4파장 공명기의 주파수 동조에 대한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Acoustic Tuning of Quarter-Wave Resonators in a Model Combustion Chamber)

  • 로켓엔진 연소기의 연소 불안정 억제를 위해 연소 상황에서의 1/4파장 공명기의 주파수 동조를 수치적으로 연구하였다. 상온 음향 시험을 통해 도출된 최적 감쇠 조건을 충족시키는 사양의 1/4파장 공명기를 채택하였다. 먼저, 실규모 연소실의 조건을 모사한 모형 연소실에서의 연소장을 수치해석하여 기본 음향파 응답 특성을 분석하였다. 다음으로, 이 연소실에 음향 공명기를 장착하여 공명기 내부 물성치를 예측하였다. 이러한 기본 데이터를 토대로 특정 음향 모드를 감쇠시킬 수 있는 주파수 동조 방안을 연구하였다. 각 공명기 내부의 물성치를 토대로 공명기를 개별 공명기의 최적 동조 길이로 설계할 경우에 충분한 감쇠 성능을 얻을 수 있었다. 설계의 편의를 위해 모든 공명기를 동일길이로 설정한 경우, 길이에 따른 감쇠성능을 비교하여 제시하였다. 이를 토대로 최적의 동조길이를 찾을 수 있었다.

소아감기와 소아폐렴간의 울음소리 스펙트럼 특징 분석 (Spectrum Feature Analysis of Crying Sounds of Infant Cold and Pneumonia)

  • 최근 들어 저출산으로 인한 사회적 현상의 변화로 소아의 건강관리 및 유지는 다양한 방법으로 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시대적 요구를 반영하기 위해 흔히 발병하는 소아 호흡기 질환을 조기에 진단할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 그 중에서 소아감기 및 소아폐렴에 관한 진단 방법을 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 소아의 유일한 표현 수단인 울음소리를 통한 소아감기 집단과 소아폐렴 집단간의 비교를 행하였으며 정상 소아 집단과의 차이점을 추출하고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 호흡기 질환이 영향을 미치는 인체의 기관과 음성을 표현하는 조음기관간의 연관성을 분석하고 성분음을 추출하는 스펙트럼을 통해 각각의 집단별 결과 파형 및 주파수 영역대를 비교, 분석하여 소아감기와 소아폐렴을 진단하고자 한다. 최종적으로 실험에 의해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

해양온도차 발전을 위한 심층수 파이프 직경에 따른 에너지 손실량 검토 (Feasibility Study on Cold Water Pipe Diameter by Friction Loss and Energy Conversion on OTEC)

  • The energy conversion from the temperature difference between hot and cold source like ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC), requires a long and large-diameter pipe (about 1000 to 10,000 meters long) to reach the deep water. The pipe diameter ranges from 2.8 meter for proposed early test systems, to 5 meter for large, commercial power generation systems. The pipe must be designed to resist collapsing pressures produced by water temperature and density differences, and the reduced pressure required to induce flow up the pipe. Other design considerations include the external-drag effect on the pipe due to ocean currents, and the wave-induced motions of the platform to which the pipe is attached. Various approaches to the pipe construction have been proposed, including aluminum, steel, concrete, and fiberglass. More recently, a flexible pipe construction involving the use of fiberglass reinforced plastic has been proposed. This report presents the results of a scaled fixed cold water pipe (CWP) model test program performed by EES(Engineering Equation Solver) to demonstrate the feasibility of this pipe approach.

  • With the increasing reliability of analysis schemes and the dramatically increased calculating speed, the computer simulation has become and indispensable process to predict the interruption capacity of circuit breakers. Generally, circuit breakers have to possess both the small current and large current interruption abilities and the circuit breaker designers need to evaluate its capacities to save the time and the expense. The analysis of small current and the large current interruption performances have been considered separately because the phenomena occurring in a interrupter are quite different. To analyze the dielectric recovery after large current interruption many physical phenomena such as heat transfer, convection and arc radiation, the nozzle ablation, the ionization of high temperature SF(sub)6 gas, the electric and themagnetic forces and so forth mush be considered. However, in the analysis of small current interruption performance only the cold gas flow analysis needs to be carried out because the capacitive current is to small that the influence from the current can be neglected. In this paper, an empirical equation which is obtained from a series of tests to estimate the dielectric recovery strength has been applied to a real circuit breaker. The results of analysis have been compared with the test results and the reliability has been investigated.
