동결피해 후의 수확시기가 사과 '후지' 품종의 저장 중 과실품질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Harvest Time after Freezing Damage on Fruit Quality during Storage of 'Fuji' Apples)

  • 본 시험은 이상저온($-3.5^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 7시간 지속)에 의해 수체 상에서 동결된 사과 '후지' 과실들의 수확시기에 따른 품질차이를 비교하고자 실시하였다. 수확 시기는 동결피해 1일 전, 동결피해 2일 후, 동결피해 6일 후였다. 시험에 조사된 과실들의 수확시 가용성 고형물 함량은 $14^{\circ}Bx$ 이상이었다. 동결피해 후 수확한 과실의 수확 시 경도 및 산 함량은 동결피해 전에 수확한 과실보다 낮았다. 저온저장 중의 에틸렌 발생량은 동결피해 후 수확한 과실이 동결피해 전에 수확한 과실보다 높았다. 동결피해 후 수확한 과실의 저온 저장 동안의 품질저하는 동결피해 전에 수확한 과실보다 심하였다. 동결피해 후에 수확한 과실의 저온저장 출고 후 실온 1주일째의 품질 저하는 동결피해 전에 수확한 과실보다 더 심하였다. 동결피해 후에 수확한 시험구들간의 비교에서는 저온저장 8주까지 동결피해 6일 후에 수확한 시험구의 에틸렌 발생량 및 과실품질 저하가 동결피해 2일 후에 수확한 시험구보다 낮았으나, 이러한 차이는 저온저장 8주 이후로는 없었다. 과육 갈변증상 발생률은 $-3.5^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 7시간 동결될 경우 영향을 받지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

냉간가공에 의한 CuZnAl계 현상기억합급의 결정립미세화와 특성평가 (The Effect of Cold-rolling on Microstructure and Transformation Behavior of Cu-Zn-Al shape Memory Alloy)

  • 본 연구는 냉간가공과 열처리를 통해 Cu-26.65Zn-4.05Al-0.31Ti(wt%) 형상기억합금의 결정립을 미세화하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 냉간가공을 위하여는 α-상이 가능한 많이 존재하는 (α+β)-조직을 가져야 하는데, 이는 550℃에서 열처리함으로써 얻었고, 최종두께 1mm로 냉간압연하였다. 총 압연율은 70%와 90%이었다. 냉간압연한 판재를 800℃에서 가열 후 급랭함으로써 형상기억특성을 갖는 상으로 변태시켰으며, 이 대 결정립크기를 측정한 결과, 열간압연한 경우보다 냉간압연과 열처리를 한 경우의 결정립이 월등히 작아졌음을 보여주었다. 냉간압연과 열처리를 한 경우에는 냉간압연 변형율이 큰 경우가 결정립이 더 작아지는 경향을 보였다. 또한 결정립크기가 작아짐에 따라 변태온도가 저하되었으며 오스테나이트상이 더 안정하게 되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. In this study, cold-rolling and appropriate annealing was adopted for the grain refining of Cu-26.65Zn-4. 05Al-0.31Ti(wt%) shape memory alloy. For the cold deformation of this alloy the ducti1e α-phase must be contained. After heat treatment at 550℃ the (α+β)-dual phase with 40vol.% α-phase was obtained which could be rolled at room temperature. This alloy was cold rolled into a final thickness of 1.0mm with total reduction degrees of 70% and 90%. The rolled sheets were betanized at 800℃ for various times, then quenched into ice water. The grain size of co]d rolled samples were 60∼80 ㎛ which is much smaller comparing with the hot-rolled samples. And the 90% rolled sample showed smaller grain size than the case of the 70% rolled one. The small grain size had influence on the phase transformation temperatures and stabilization of the austenitic phases.

  • Cold forging technology of a gear product is being interested in the dimensional accuracy, high stiffness and reduction of stress concentration. Especially it is needed to avoid the damage due to extremely high local pressure. Therefore it is important to ensure high pressure in die design. In this study, single die insert type and splitted die insert type are considered to recognize the notch effects in the die of sprocket forming. The stress concentration has been released at the notch area by the cushion effect in the splitted die insert.

  • In metal working, cold forging that has profit to satisfy dimension accuracy is using in various manufacturing products. Recently, most of the interest thing is precision forging of gear. Gear forging product is more strength than broaching gear, and it has many advantages with reduction of factory expenses. The reason of difficulty to improve accuracy of gear dimension compare to another products is the dimension accuracy is very high, approximately 10$\mu\textrm{m}$, and because die of involute teeth and elastic strain of forged tool differ from standard curve. This paper represent quantitative analysis of die and teeth of forged tool, namely difference of curves, with experiments and analyze the factor of dimension gap, finally, will design compensated involute curve.

  • Bi-axially textured Ni tapes were prepared by cold rolling process and powder metallurgy. The Ni powder used in this study was 5 $\mu$m in size and 99.99 % in purity. For densification, the powder compact was sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 6h in 96 % Ar - 4 % $H_{2}$ atmosphere, and the sintered compact was cold rolled with a 5% reduction, and then heat-treated to give it a texture structure. In this paper, we will discuss the effect of the processing variables on development of the cube texture.

  • This study deals with the cold forging process design for shaft in the main part of automobile motors with rectangular deep groove. In forging process, the accuracy and die lift is very important because it have influence on reduction of the production cost and the increase of the production rate. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the manufacturing process of shaft by cold forging., process variables are the cropped face angle of billet and the eccentric load of punch. The former is derived from cropping test, the latter is occurred by clearance between container and preform. Also, grooved preform select the process variable for decrease in punch deflection. We investigate that a deflection of punch and a deformation of preform to every process variables. Through this investigation, we suggest the optimal preform and process design, expect to be improved the tool life in forging process.

  • Nowadays, hollow upper-shaft of monobloc type has been considered for weight reduction and high quality in the automobile industry. To form the upper-shaft under tube cold extrusion, Taguchi method is applied to optimize the die design in this study. Taguchi method for optimum die design is to establish the optimal combination of design parameters and to reduce a number of experiments. Effect of parameters including the die relief, mandrel, die half angle is investigated and analyzed based on FEA analysis using a FEM commercial software MSC_Marc. Furthermore extrusion experiments have been performed to verify the results investigated in the FEM simulations.

  • As in most metal forming processes, die and lubrication are of vital importance in hydrostatic extrusion. An efficient die design and lubrication system selection reduce the pressure required for a given reduction ratio by lowering friction at the billet-die interface. In contrast to the conventional macroscopic extrusion, fine-wire fabrication requires higher extrusion pressure and effect of friction is much more significant. Forming fine Au, Ag, and Cu wire with hydrostatic extrusion process in cold condition, the effect of extrusion die angle, lubrication and billet's initial diameter was studied.

  • In this study, the die design and die series on the surface residual stress of cold drawn eutectoid steel wire has been investigated. Test pieces were fabricated using die series with different mean and final reduction ratio. Surface residual stresses in the axial direction were measured by X-ray diffraction, Broker's 2-dimensional GADDS system. Results were compared with stress profiles which were calculated by 3D and 2D finite element simulation, Hibbitt's ABAQUS 6.4 program in Finite Element Analysis. By means of FEA method, optimal die shape considering delta-parameter were induced and applied in order to determine die sequence designs. Balance of the drawing stresses was also introduced to optimize die sequence.
