In this paper, we introduce the fundamental concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy Q-neighborhood, intuitionistic Q-first axiom of countability, intuitionistic first axiom of countability, intuitionistic fuzzy closure operator, intuitionistic fuzzy boundary point and intuitionistic fuzzy accumulation point and investigate some of their properties.

The fixed-angle based modified compression field theory (MCFT) was developed to include the slip deformation across the crack, thereby allowing for the non-coincident directions of the principal strain and stress. To investigate the significance of crack modelling on the analysis, a series of tests on beams without transverse reinforcement was predicted by both rotating- and fixed-angle crack models within the frame of the MCFT. The results predicted by the fixed-angle MCFT were comparable to those by the rotating-angle MCFT when the initial crack angle of 45deg. and the related friction law are used.

In this study, to predict the behavior of RC beam strengthened with Carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) plate, analytical program considering material non-linearity is developed. Strain compatibility and force equilibrium are applied and internal forces of constitutive material are calculated using nonlinear stress-strain relationship. Also, to certainty the reliability of analytical program, deflection, strain of CFRP plate, change of neutral axis on cross section and crack distribution at failure are compared with those of experiment, and each results are almost coincident.

In this paper, we introduce the notions of ($\in,\;{\in} V q$)-fuzzy subnear-ring, ($\in,\;{\in} V q$)-fuzzy ideal and ($\in,\;{\in}V q$)-fuzzy quasi-ideal of near-rings and find more generalized concepts than those introduced by others. The characterization of such ($\in,\;{\in}V q$)-fuzzy ideals are also obtained.

In this study, speed survey has been conducted on Pusan Freeway to identify actual running speed. therefore, suggest that Highway Design Regulations and Highway Design Standard from Ministry of Construction and Transportation, which requires stopping sight distance for 20% less speed when rainy condition in accordance with Highway Safety Act, is not coincident with driver's characteristics. Consequently, it is prudent to compute stopping sight distance with 85th percentile running speed, considering driver's actual behavior and mountainous terrain.

We introduce the notion of intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy sets as the another generalization of interval-valued fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and hence fuzzy sets. Also we introduce some operations over intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy sets. And we study some fundamental properties of intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy sets and operations.

Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves have been frequently used to compare probability models applied to medical problems. Though the curves are a measure of the discriminatory power of a model. they do not reflect the model's accuracy. A supplementary accuracy curve is derived which will be coincident with the ROC curve if the model is reliable. will be above the ROC curve if the model's probabilities are too high or below if they are too low. A clinical example of this new graphical presentation is given.

The dynamic fatigue life equation is applied to uniaxial tensile test. The resultant equations far the surface energy and fracture toughness are calculated with the data from the tensile test and compared with the ones from ASTM E399 test. During the crack propagation under model loading, the material of the crack tip undergoes the process of the elastic-plastic deformation in the uniaxial tensile test. The surface energy per unit area is proportional to the ratio of plastic and elastic elongations. The calculated fracture toughness of the metals are very well coincident to the ASTM E399's test results.

In this paper we introduce stronger form of the notion of cover so-called p-cover which is more appropriate. According to this cover we introduce and study another type of compactness in L-fuzzy topology so-called $C^*$-compact and study some of its properties with some interrelation.

Nineteen cases of Albino rat having naturally occurred renal lesions were observed during the routine examination of a total of 240 cases. The lesions observed were focal suppurative nephritis (6 cases), acute nonsuppurative nephritis (3 cases), chronic interstitial nephritis (4 cases), nematode infection in pelvic epithelium (5 cases, in which one case was coincident with focal suppurative nephritis) and unilateral hydronephrosis (2 cases). Gross and microscopic findings for the lesions were described and discussed.
