  • Purpose: In this study, with the transaction amount of foreign direct Purchase and foreign direct sales increasing, South Korea is in a situation where foreign direct sales are focused on China. We looked at the impact of consumer innovation and site characteristics on repurchase ability among the characteristics of overseas direct purchase consumers as a way to make direct overseas sales to various overseas countries. Research design, data and methodology: Consumer innovativeness consists of four variables: functional, hedonistic, social, and cognitive, and the site characteristics consisted of four variables: product price, product assortment, convenience, and service. The study was conducted on consumers with foreign direct purchase experience, and was finally used in 252 additional analyses. Results: The main findings of this study were first, that the impact on the degree of re-purchase among consumer innovativeness of foreign direct purchase consumers had a significant impact in the order of cognitive innovativeness, hedonistic innovativeness, and functional innovativeness. Social innovativeness did not affect the degree of re-purchase. Second, site characteristics have been found to have a significant impact on the degree of re-purchase in order of product assortment, commodity price, and service. Convenience did not affect the degree of re-purchase. Conclusions Taken together these results can be called the biggest characteristic of the cognitive innovativeness of the consumer's inclination to use the overseas direct purchase, the price or quick response of the goods sold on the site is a factor that affects the re-purchase, above all it is important to have a variety of products. We will present this element as a way to make direct sales abroad to various countries. In addition, foreign direct purchase is a lot of transactions in China, the United States, EU, but the share of China is high in foreign direct sales, and the U.S. and EU have a very low performance, it is important to consider the reasons why they prefer Korean products in China to study the social and cultural characteristics of U.S. and European consumers in the future, and to support and active marketing that companies and sellers can increase sales.

  • Many studies have shown that musical dissonance generally evokes negative affect, but few studies detail how distinct dissonant intervals, ranging in various roughness, influence emotions and cognition. This research entailed two experiments to confirm whether varying musical intervals of dissonance trigger particular negative emotions and increase cognitive interference. Experiment 1 assumed that different dissonant intervals would elicit distinct negative emotions. In a survey involving 131 participants, there was an overwhelming consensus that dissonant intervals elicited stronger high arousal negative affect than low arousal negative affect. The major 7th degree was found to evoke a significantly stronger feeling of scared. Experiment 2 investigated whether emotions-affecting dissonance would have an enhancing effect on cognitive interference. According to a color-word Stroop task conducted on 81 participants, the presence of any dissonant sound caused significantly higher reaction times and error rates than in the absence of sound. In particular, the minor 2nd degree was cognitively the most disruptive and associated with the slowest reaction times. This paper shows how different ranges of dissonance can effectively influence negative affect and heighten cognitive interference.

  • The advanced computer network technology enables connectivity of computers through an open network environment. There has been growing numbers of security threat to the networks. Therefore, it requires intrusion detection and prevention technologies. In this paper, we propose a network based intrusion detection model using Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(FCM) that can detect intrusion by the Denial of Service(DoS) attack detection method adopting the packet analyses. A DoS attack appears in the form of the Probe and Syn Flooding attack which is a typical example. The Sp flooding Preventer using Fuzzy cognitive maps(SPuF) model captures and analyzes the packet information to detect Syn flooding attack. Using the result of analysis of decision module, which utilized FCM, the decision module measures the degree of danger of the DoS and trains the response module to deal with attacks. The result of simulating the "KDD ′99 Competition Data Set" in the SPuF model shows that the Probe detection rates were over 97 percentages.

  • This study examined the effects of information volume and distribution on learners' cognitive load and recall in a mobile augmented reality (AR) environment. Information volume refers to the degree of information users are provided in a learning task, while information distribution indicates the way in which information is distributed, either in a virtual or real format. Sixteen undergraduate students participated in the study, which employed a 2 × 3 randomized block factorial design with repeated measures. Information volume and distribution were independent variables, and factors in learners' cognitive load (mental effort, perceived ease of use, and perceived task difficulty) and recall test scores were the dependent variables. Information volume had significant main effects on perceived ease of use and task difficulty, and recall test scores, while information distribution had significant main effects on perceived task difficulty and test scores. A detailed discussion and implications are provided.
