  • 1. 우리나라 남부를 17개 지역으로 구분하여 최근 30년간의 기상자료 분석에 의한 5월~10월의 일평균 PET는 $2.75mm\;day^{-1}$ 이었다. 2. 노지재배 고추의 우리나라 남부 17개 지역별, 3개 토성 및 16개 순별, 총 816경우의 재배여건에 적합한 물 절약형 적정 관개간격 및 1회관개량을 산정하였다.

냉각유로 내 곡관부 및 유로의 회전이 압력강하에 미치는 영향 (Pressure Drop Characteristics in a Coolant Passage With Turning Region and Rotation)

  • The present study investigated local pressure drop in a rotating smooth square duct with turning region. The duct has a hydraulic diameter $(D_h)$ of 26.7mm and a divider wall of 6.0mm or $0.225D_h$. The distance between the tip of the divider and the outer wall of the duct is $1.0D_h$. The Reynolds number (Re) based on the hydraulic diameter is kept constant at 10,000, and the rotation number (Ro) is varied from 0.0 to 0.20. The pressure coefficient distribution $(C_p)$, the friction factor (f) and the thermal performance $({\eta})$ are presented on the leading, the trailing and the outer surfaces. It is found that the curvature of the $180^{\circ}-turn$ produces Dean vortices that cause the high pressure drop in the turning region. The duct rotation results in the pressure coefficient discrepancy between the leading and trailing surfaces. That is, the high pressure values appear on the trailing surface in the first-pass and on the leading and side surfaces in the second-pass. As the rotation number increases, the pressure discrepancy enlarges. In the fuming region, a pair of the Dean vortices in the stationary case transform into one large asymmetric vortex cell, and then the pressure drop characteristics also change.

산사태 발생지역에서의 지질조건별 토질특성 (Soil Properties regarding Geological Conditions in Landslides area)

  • A lot of landslides were occurred in Gangnung, Macheon and Geochang areas by Typhoons such as RUSA(2002) and MEAMI(2003). Soil properties of these areas are investigated regarding geological conditions in this study. The shallow plane failure were occurred in Gangnung and Geochang areas, whereas the deep circle failure were occurred in Macheon area. The matrix in Gangnung and Geochang areas was composed of Granite, and the matrix in Macheon area was composed of Gabbro. The disturbed and undisturbed soils were sampled in these areas. As the results of laboratory tests using sampled soils, the coefficient of permeability in Granite region is lower than that in Gabbro region. In the cases that the silt and clay contents are included less than 4% for the soils of Granite region and less than 7% for the soils of Gabbro region, the coefficients of permeability are rapidly increased for both soils. In addition, the simple equations for predicting the coefficients of permeability are proposed using the effective particle size and the silt and clay contents according to geological condition.

  • Nonpotential characteristics of magnetic fields in AR 5747 are examined using Mees Solar Observatory magnetograms taken on Oct. 20, 1989 to Oct. 22, 1989. The active region showed such violent flaring activities during the observational span that strong X-ray flares took place including a 2B/X3 flare. The magnetogram data were obtained by the Haleakala Stokes Polarimeter which provides simultaneous Stokes profiles of the Fe I doublet 6301.5 and 6302.5. A nonlinear least square method was adopted to derive the magnetic field vectors from the observed Stokes profiles and a multi-step ambiguity solution method was employed to resolve the $180^{\circ}$ ambiguity. From the ambiguity-resolved vector magnetograms, we have derived a set of physical quantities characterizing the field configuration, which are magnetic flux, vertical current density, magnetic shear angle, angular shear, magnetic free energy density, a measure of magnetic field discontinuity MAD and linear force-free coefficient. Our results show that (1) magnetic nonpotentiality is concentrated near the inversion line in the flaring sites, (2) all the physical parameters decreased with time, which may imply that the active region was in a relaxation stage of its evolution, (3) 2-D MAD has similar patterns with other nonpotential parameters, demonstrating that it can be utilized as an useful parameter of flare producing active region, and (4) the linear force-free coefficient could be a evolutionary indicator with a merit as a global nonpotential parameter.

가스터빈 블레이드 팁의 열전달과 유동 특성에 대한 수치적 해석 (Numerical Analysis of Heat Transfer and Flow Characteristics on Squealer Tip of Gas Turbine Blade)

  • 본 연구에서는 전산해석을 통해 냉각 터빈 블레이드 팁 간극의 유동 및 열전달 특성을 연구하였다. 1단 고압터빈 노즐 출구에서 획득한 속도, 온도 프로파일을 로터의 입구에 적용하여 로터 도메인을 대상으로 전산해석을 하였다. 스퀼러 팁이 적용된 블레이드의 팁 간극을 스팬의 1%부터 2.5%로 조절하여 팁 간극의 공력 손실, 열전달 계수와 막냉각 효율의 영향을 고찰했다. 팁 간극이 커질수록 출구에서 공력 손실과 블레이드 끝단 표면에서 열전달 계수는 증가하였다. 특히 팁 간극이 스팬의 2%일 때 평균 열전달 계수가 급격히 증가하였다. 팁 영역의 막냉각 효율은 팁 간극이 작을수록 높았고, 캐비티 내부 냉각 홀 근처의 막냉각 효율이 높았다.

고온 고압 환경에서 가변추력기용 핀틀의 열전달 계수에 대한 수치적 연구 및 2D 실험 (Numerical Analysis and 2-D Experiment of Heat Transfer Coefficient on the Pintle of a Controllable Thruster Nozzle)

  • In this paper, 2-D experiment and steady-state computational fluid analysis were conducted for measuring the hear transfer coefficient of pintle type controllable thruster in high pressure and temperature. In case of 2-D experiment, transient liquid crystal technique was used for measuring heat transfer coefficient for the 2-D pintle model. The experimental result was used to validate the CFD result. The CFD results well predicted the heat transfer coefficient on the pintle surface except the nozzle downstream region, where the results by CFD was higher than experimental results. The CFD results were also compared with the result by Bartz equation and the it was shown that the Bartz equation overestimated the heat transfer coefficient on the nozzle throat as much as 80%.

Effects of Fluid Resistance Coefficient on Wave Characteristics around Permeable Submerged Breakwater

  • Recently, the studies on submerged breakwater are increased due to needs considering the quality of water and the scenic view. In this paper, waves coming to permeable submerged breakwater coming with oblique angle are computed numerically by using wave pressure function. The wave pressure function throughout the analytical region including the fluid and submerged breakwaters is used. An unknown quantity expressed by the wave pressure function is simulated by boundary element method. The maximum reflection coefficient shows the tendency of decrease with the increase of oblique angle and The reflection coefficient shows the tendency of increase with the increase of the values of the linear dissipation coefficient and the added mass coefficient. It is means that the reflection coefficients are strongly dependent on the oblique angle and resistance coefficients.

비디오 영상에서 사전정보 기반의 도로 추적 (Road Tracking based on Prior Information in Video Sequences)

  • 본 논문에서는 실 도로 환경에서 획득한 영상으로부터 도로 영역을 추적하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 이전 처리 결과로부터 미리 알려진 정보를 이용하여 현재 영상에서 도로를 검출하고 추적하는 방법이다. 제안된 방법은 시스템의 효율을 위해 연속적인 입력 영상에서 하위 60%이내에 도로가 있다고 가정하여 관심의 대상이 되는 영역(Region of Interest, ROI)을 설정하고 이 영역에서만 도로를 검출하고 추적한다. 최초 분할은 플러드필 알고리즘(Flood-fill algorithm)을 수행한 결과로부터 주위 영역과의 유사성을 평가한 후 병합하여 분할한다. 사전 정보로 사용되는 이전 영상에서 분할 결과에서 시드점(Seed Point)을 추출하고 이 시드점을 기준으로 현재 영상을 분할한다. 이전 영상에서 분할된 도로 영역과 현재 영상에서 분할된 결과를 변형된 자카드 계수(Jaccard coefficient)를 이용한 유사도 측정 결과에 따라 다음 영상에서 도로영역을 정제하고 추적한다. 연속적인 입력 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과는 잡음이 존재하는 영상에서도 도로를 추적하는데 효과적임을 보여준다.

불규칙적으로 거친 유전체 표면에서의 레이더 산란계수 수치해석적 계산 (Numerical Computation of Radar Scattering Coefficient for Randomly Rough Dielectric Surfaces)

  • 본 논문에서는 불규칙적으로 거친 유전체 표면에서의 레이더 산란계수를 FDTD 방법과 Monte Carlo 방법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 본 연구의 FDTD 방법에서는 입사파의 입사각과 편파를 바꾸어 가며 전파 산란을 계산할 수 있으며, thin wire의 RCS를 이 FDTD 방법을 이용해 계산하여 본 알고리즘을 검증하였다. 2차원적으로 거친 표면에서의 전파산란을 연구하기 위해 우선 주어진 표면 높이 분포가 Gaussian 상관함수를 갖는. 2차원적으로 거친 표면을 컴퓨터로 생성하였다. Maxwell 방정식을 차등 방정식으로 바꾼 후 계산 영역은 total field 영역과 scattered field 영역으로 나누어 FDTD를 이용해서 거친 표면 조각들에서의 산란 전계를 계산했다. 통계적으로 독립적인 50개의 표면 조각들에서 계산된 산란 전계를 이용해 레이더 후방산란계수를 구하였으며, 이 결과를 이론적 모델 중의 하나인 SPM과 비교해 보았다. FDTD 방법을 이용해 얻은 결과와 SPM을 이용해 얻은 결과가 대체적으로 잘 일치하였다.

고제어 성능을 가진 버터플라이밸브의 개도각에 따른 유체유동에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Fluid Flow According to the Opening Angle of a Butterfly Valve with High Control Performance)

  • The objective of this study is to simulate valve flow coefficient and flow characteristics such as velocity and pressure distribution for butterfly valve. The size of the valve used in this study is 125A. The range of the valve opening angle was α=15°~70°, and it was changed by 5°. At the range of α=15°~30°, the valve flow coefficient K𝜐 gradually increased, and after α=30°, it increased rapidly. In the range of α=20°~70°, the pressure change in the -2.9cm~+2.9cm region in the pipe greatly depended on the opening angle and the position within the pipe. However, after +2.9cm, the pressure at the rear end of the valve was shown to depend only on the opening angle. At α=20°, Vortex shedding occurred for the first time at time t=0.25sec and continuously occurred in rear end of the valve over time. After α=45°, in the flow pattern at the rear end of the valve, the upward flow at the lower end of the valve and the flow at the upper end met each other to form a mixed flow. This flow phenomenon was shown to form a more intense mixed flow in the rear end region as the opening angle increased. Vortex flow occurred for the first time at α=15°, and the opening angle increased, the occurrence and disappearance of this flow phenomenon occurred periodically according to the certain flow region. The pattern of the pressure distribution in the region at the rear end of the valve showed a tendency to agree well with the results of the vorticity distribution.
