Na2CO3-H2O2 탄산염 용액의 안정성 평가 (Evaluation of Na2CO3-H2O2 Carbonate Solution Stability)

  • 연구는 $Na_2CO_3-H_2O_2$ 탄산염 용액의 숙성시간에 따른 안정성을 U의 산화 용해액, Cs/Re의 선택적 침전 여과액 및 U의 산성화 침전 여과액으로 구분하여 검토하였다. 숙성시간에 따른 산화 용해액 내 조성 변화는 거의 없었으며, Cs/Re의 선택적 침전에도 아무 영향이 없이 산화 용해액으로부터 순차적으로 Re과 Cs의 침전제거가 가능하였다. 그러나 U의 산성화 침전에서는 산화 용해액이나 Cs/Re의 선택적 침전 여과액을 장시간 동안 숙성시킬 경우 U이 uranyl peroxocarbonato complex에서 uranyltricarbonate로 일부 전환되어 U의 침전회수를 감소시켰다. 그러므로 99% 이상의 U을 회수하기 위해서는 산화 용해액 및 Cs/Re의 선택적 침전 여과액의 숙성시간을 각각 7일 이내에서 처리하는 것이 효과적이다. 그리고 SF 의 산화/용해${\rightarrow}$Cs과 Re(/Tc)의 선택적 침전${\rightarrow}$ U의 산성화 침전 등을 순차적으로 수행하여, 산화/용해에서는 대부분의 U과 FP 중 일부가 함께 용해 되었으며, 함께 용해된 FP 중 Re과 Cs은 각각 TPPCl 및 NaTPB로 99% 이상을 침전제거할 수 있었다. 그리고 산성화 (pH 4) 침전에서는 U을 거의 100% 침전회수 하여 $Na_2CO_3-H_2O_2$ 탄산염 용액에서 침전법으로 SF로부터 U 만의 회수 타당성을 확인하였다.

  • Skutterudite $CoSb_3$ doped with nickel was prepared by encapsulated induction melting, and its doping effects on thermoelectric properties were investigated. Single phase ${\delta}-CoSb_3$ was successfully obtained by encapsulated induction melting and subsequent heat treatment at 773 K for 24 h. Nickel atoms acted as electron donors by substituting cobalt atoms. Thermoelectric properties were remarkably improved by appropriate heat treatment and doping, and they were closely related to phase transitions and dopant activation. The maximum ZT(dimensionless figure of merit) was achieved as 0.2 at 600 K for the $Co_{0.93}Ni_{0.07}Sb_3$ specimen.

  • Binary skutterudite $CoSb_3$ compounds were prepared by the arc melting and hot pressing processes and their thermoelectric properties were investigated in the range from 300 to 600 K. Annealing effect was correlated to phase transformation and homogenization. Thermoelectric properties of the arc-melted and hot-pressed $CoSb_3$ were discussed and compared. Undoped intrinsic $CoSb_3$ prepared by the arc melting showed p-type conduction, while it showed metallic behavior with increasing measuring temperature. However, hot pressed specimens showed n-type conduction, possibly due to Sb evaporation. Thermoelectric properties were remarkably improved by annealing In vacuum and they were closely related to phase transformation.

  • Sn-filled and Fe-doped $CoSb_3$ skutterudites were synthesized by encapsulated induction melting. Single ${\delta}$-phase was successfully obtained by subsequent annealing and confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Temperature dependences of Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity were examined from 300 K to 700 K. The positive Seebeck coefficient confirmed the p-type conduction. Electrical resistivity increased with increasing temperature, which shows that the $Sn_zCo_3FeSb_{12}$ skutterudite is highly degenerate. Thermal conductivity was reduced by Sn-filling because the filler atoms acted as phonon scattering centers in the skutterudite lattice. Thermoelectric figure of merit was enhanced by Sn filling and its optimum filling content was considered to be z=0.3 in the $Sn_zCo_3FeSb_{12}$ system.

  • Ni-doped $CoSb_3$ was prepared by the hot pressing, and its doping effects on the thermoelectric properties were investigated. Single phase ${\delta}-CoSb_3$ was successfully obtained by encapsulated induction melting and the subsequent heat treatment at 773 K for 24 hrs, followed by the hot pressing under 60 MPa at 773 K for 2 hrs. Nickel atoms acted as electron donors by substituting cobalt atoms. Thermoelectric properties were remarkably improved by the Ni doping.

  • IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force)의 CoAP (Constrained Application Protocol) 프로토콜은 작은 용량의 메모리와 저전력 등 제한된 환경에서 센서나 구동체 노드 간에 통신을 지원한다. CoAP 프로토콜은 HTTP와 쉽게 상호 변환할 수 있으며, 사물인터넷(Internet of Thing : IoT)와 M2M (Machine-to-Machine) 환경에서 저전력 센서와 구동체 네트워크를 통한 기반 시설을 감시하거나 관리할 수 있다. IETF CoRE(Constrained RESTful environments) 워킹그룹(Working Group)에서 2010년에 CoAP 프로토콜에 대한 표준화를 시작하여 최근에 RFC(Request for Comments) 7252로 발표한다 [2]. 본 논문에서는 이질적인 운영 환경에서 CoAP 프로토콜을 설계하고 구현하여 상호 호환성을 검증한다. 이를 위해 CoAP 클라이언트에는 윈도우 기반의 CoAP 프로토콜을 실현하고, CoAP 서버에는 리눅스 기반의 CoAP 프로토콜을 구현하여 상호 연동 실험을 실시하여 동작을 확인한다.

Effect of Fe Doping on Thermoelectric Properties of Mechanically Alloyed $CoSb_3$

  • Fe doped skutterudite $CoSb_3$ with a nominal composition of $Fe_xCo_{1-x}Sb_{12}(0{\leq}x{\leq}2.5)$ have been synthesized by mechanical alloying (MA) of elemental powders, followed by vacuum hot pressing. Phase transformations during mechanical alloying and vacuum hot pressing were systematically investigated using XRD. Single phase skutterudite was successfully produced by vacuum hot pressing using as-milled powders without subsequent annealing. However, second phase of $FeSb_2$ was found to exist in case of $x\geq2$, suggesting the solubility limit of Fe with Co in this system. Thermoelectric properties as functions of temperature and Fe contents were evaluated for the hot pressed specimens. Fe doping up to x=1.5 with Co in $Fe_xCo_{4-x}Sb_{12}$ appeared to increase thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) and the maximum ZT was found to be 0.78 at 525K in this study.
