This paper designed Simulik Model to cancel the carrier frequency offset in OFDM using CORDIC Algorithm and evaluated its performance. And Simulink Model compared with Xilinx System Generator Model for FPGA implementation. As a result of simulation, we confirmed that both model is error free by CORDIC when offset frequency is lower than $10^5MHz$. Also, we verified the performance through Hardware Co-simulation with Xilinx Spartan3 xc3s1000 fg676-4 Target Device, and timing analysis and resource estimation.
The purpose of this paper is characteristic analysis of permanent magnet generator for AVR power of brushless synchronous generator. However, the PMG has a spoke type rotor with overhang, so we perform the analysis considering overhang for the precise airgap flux density. In this paper, dynamic analysis model with 2D FEM considering overhang is proposed by use of 2D, 3D static FEM results. The proposed method is verified by the results of PMG load test.
In the past, Alloy 600 nickel-based alloys have been widely used in steam generators. However, most of them have been replaced by thermally treated alloy 690 tubes in recent years because mill annealed alloy 600 materials are known to be susceptible to stress corrosion cracking. Unlike this general perception, some steam generators using mill annealed alloy 600 tubes show excellent performance even though they are designed, manufactured, and operated in the same way. Therefore, various analyses were carried out to determine causes for the degradation of steam generators. Based on the general stress corrosion cracking mechanism, tube material susceptibility, residual stress, and sludge deposits of steam generators were compared to identify factors affecting stress corrosion cracking. It was found that mill annealed alloy 600 steam generator tubes showed higher resistance to stress corrosion cracking when the amount of sludge deposits on tube surface was smaller and residual stress generated during the fabrication was lower.
In order to develop navigation systems, simulators that provide navigation sensors data are required. A trajectory generator that simulates vehicle motion is needed to generate navigation sensors data in the simulator. In this paper, a trajectory generator for evaluating navigation system performance is proposed. The proposed trajectory generator consists of two parts. The first part obtains parameters from the motion scenario file whereas the second part generates position, velocity, and attitude from the parameters. In the proposed trajectory generator six degrees of freedom, halt, climb, turn, accel turn, spiral, combined, and waypoint motions are given as basic motions with parameters. These motions can be combined to generate complex trajectories of the vehicle. Maximum acceleration and jerk for linear motion and maximum angular acceleration and velocity for rotational motion are considered to generate trajectories. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed trajectory generator, trajectories were generated from motion scenario files and the results were observed. The results show that the proposed trajectory generator can accurately simulate complex vehicle motions that can be used to evaluate navigation system performance.
Recently, the generators for wind turbine have been manufactured with high output power such like MW class machine in order to reduce the generation cost and to increase the energy efficiency. At the same time, direct-driven generators for wind turbine have been developed and researched, which have easy maintenance and high efficiency by simplification the system through the removal of the gear box. In this paper, at first, the advantage and disadvantage between the direct-driven generator system and conventional indirect-driven system are compared. And secondly, the permanent magnet generator (PMG) for wind turbine has been rapidly improved to cope with the recent trend which requires the high power output Per one machine and the convenience for maintenance, and the PMG is adequate for direct driven system and suitable for high-efficiency and light weight. So, the characteristics and technical trend of the PMG for wind turbine is examined. At last, a suitable technical trend for development of the permanent magnet generator for wind turbine is proposed.

This paper proposes a loss minimization algorithm for doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) by controlling the stator reactive power. The proposed strategy directly controls the rotor current to achieve the operating point of minimum generator loss and maximum power point tracking. The maximum power is obtained by tracking the q-axis rotor current with generator speed variation and the minimum generator loss is achieved by controlling the d-axis rotor current. Experimental results are shown to verify the validity of the proposed scheme.

This purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology for optimal generating operation in power system to minimize the cost of generation subject to not only system constraints but also regional $CO_2$ emission constraints. To solve this ELD problem calculated range limit on minimum and maximum power outputs by regional Equal Generator how each regional capacity is connected into one and expressed Equal Fuel Cost Function considering regional $CO_2$ emission constraints. Accordingly, being modified regional load, new power outputs considering regional $CO_2$ emission constraints were calculated by ELD. The proposed model for evaluating availability is tested on IEEE RTS(Reliability Test System)-24 in detail.
In this paper, a novel Generator On-line Diagnosis System (GODS) is proposed. This system monitors the insulation condition of the stator winding by on-line measurements of partial discharge (PD). Sensor, such as SSC (Stator Slot Coupler) and RFCT (Radio Frequency Current Transformer) are used for PD measurement. PD signals are continuously measured and digitized with a high speed A/D converter to build the database of the generator's insulation condition. Also this system can communicate with the central monitoring system via RS-485. This helps more efficient operation and maintenance of the generator.
