The purpose of this study is to understand the locational characteristics of performing art industries and to investigate the linkages with local economy. For the purpose, we examine the spatial concentration of cultural and artistic resources in Korea first, and than focus on Seoul where the resources of performing art industries are concentrated to the utmost. To distinguish the distribution aspect and locational characteristics of performing art industries, we apply the Kernel density analysis and LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Association) on the address data of performing art theater, gallery, and movie theater. In contrast to galleries and movie theaters. the spatial distribution pattern of performing art theaters reveals a unique local cluster centered on the Daehakro area. We confirm that the Daehakro area constitutes a performing art industry cluster in their dense distribution of various related activities making up the value chain of the performing art industry. Multiple regression analysis probes the related economic activities to explain the distribution of performing art theaters as well as the linkages with the local economic landscape.

Purpose: This paper aims to determine features of the relationship between human development, tourism and national brand. Research design, data and methodology: ranking indicators, cluster analysis, K means method, correlation analysis. Results: The analysis covers data for 95 countries for 2019. The number of countries is justified by the availability of comparable data for calculations. A direct relationship between the indicators for the entire sample has been revealed in the result of the correlation analysis. However, this relationship has not been confirmed for the groups of countries that were formed through the cluster analysis. Spearman Rank Order and Kendall Tau Correlations have been calculated for the five obtained clusters. In two of the five clusters, the relationship between the indicators has not been found. A strong negative link between all the indicators has been detected in the cluster with average index values. A strong positive link between TTCI and BSI has been revealed in the group of countries with the best index values. A strong positive link between TTCI and HDI has been found in the group of countries with the worst index values. Conclusions: The analysis demonstrates that there is a relationship between BSI, TTCI and HDI, and while this link is observed for the sample as a whole, it is not homogeneous for groups of countries.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to re-evaluate the importance of questions of obesity syndrome differentiation (OSD) questionnaire based on real-world survey and to explore the possibility of simplifying OSD types. Methods: The OSD frequency was identified, and variance threshold feature selection was performed to filter the questions. Filtered questions were clustered by K-means clustering and hierarchical clustering. After principal component analysis (PCA), the distribution patterns of the subjects were identified and the differences in the syndrome distribution were compared. Results: The frequency of OSD in spleen deficiency, phlegm (PH), and blood stasis (BS) was lower than in food retention (FR), liver qi stagnation (LS), and yang deficiency. We excluded 13 questions with low variance, 7 of which were related to BS. Filtered questions were clustered into 3 groups by K-means clustering; Cluster 1 (17 questions) mainly related to PH, BS syndromes; Cluster 2 (11 questions) related to swelling, and indigestion; Cluster 3 (11 questions) related to overeating or emotional symptoms. After PCA, significant different patterns of subjects were observed in the FR, LS, and other obesity syndromes. The questions that mainly affect the FR distribution were digestive symptoms. And emotional symptoms mainly affect the distribution of LS subjects. And other obesity syndrome was partially affected by both digestive and emotional symptoms, and also affected by symptoms related to poor circulation. Conclusions: In-depth data mining analysis identified relatively low importance questions and the potential to simplify OSD types.
As the Internet users are increasing rapidly, a cluster web server system is attracted by many researchers and Internet service providers. The cluster web server has been developed to efficiently support a larger number of users as well as to provide high scalable and available system. In order to provide the high performance in the cluster web server, efficient load distribution is important, and recently many content-aware request distribution techniques have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a new content-aware load balancing technique that can evenly distribute the workload to each node in the cluster web server. The proposed technique is based on the hash histogram transformation, in which each URL entry of the web log file is hashed, and the access frequency and file size are accumulated as a histogram. Each user request is assigned into a node by mapping of (hashed value-server node) in the histogram transformation. In the proposed technique, the histogram is updated periodically and then the even distribution of user requests can be maintained continuously. In addition to the load balancing, our technique can exploit the cache effect to improve the performance. The simulation results show that the performance of our technique is quite better than that of the traditional round-robin method and we can improve the performance more than $10\%$ compared with the existing workload-aware load balancing(WARD) method.
A study on the particle growth in $TEOS/O_2$ plasma was performed, and particle size and its distribution was measured by the electrical aerosol analyzer (EAA), light scattering particle size analyzer and the particle size was also determined by SEM. The effects of process variables such as total gas flow rate, reactor pressure, supplied power and initial reactant concentration on the particle growth were investigated. From the EAA results, the particle size distribution is divided into three groups of the cluster size and the small and large size particles. The particle size distribution measured by the light scattering particle size analyzer becomes bimodal, because the cluster size particles smaller than 20 nm in diameter cannot be detected by the light scattering particle size analyzer. The size of particles measured by the light scattering particle size analyzer is in good agreements with those by the SEM. Also we could understand that the particle formation is very sensitive to the changes of reactor pressure and reactant concentration. As the total gas flow rate increases, the particle size decreases because of the shorter residence time. As the reactor pressure, or the reactant concentration increases, the particle concentration increases and the particles grow more quickly by the faster coagulation between particles.
A cluster consists of a collection of interconnected stand-alone computers working together and provides a high-availability solution in application area such as web services or information systems. Content-based load distribution for web server clusters uses the detailed data found in the application layer to intelligently route user requests among web servers. In this paper, we propose a content-based load distribution algorithm that considers cache hit and load information of the web servers under the web server clusters. In addition, we expand this algorithm in order to manage user requests for dynamic file. Specially, our algorithm does not keep track of any frequency of access information or try to model the contents of the caches of the web servers.

We present a large scale structure consisting of eight galaxy filaments around the Virgo cluster in the window of -20 Mpc < SGX, SGZ < 20 Mpc, and 4 Mpc < SGY < 32 Mpc using the HyperLEDA database. While six of the filaments were reported in previous studies, two filaments are newly found in this study. We exploited a large number of faint ($M_B$ < -10) galaxies in comparison with previous studies, which facilitates defining filaments more clearly. The previously known filaments are all in SGY < 16 Mpc and appear to distribute in association with the Virgo cluster in galaxy distribution. Moreover, peculiar velocities of galaxies in these filaments show a distinct offset from the Hubble flow indicating their infall motion toward the Virgo cluster. All of these results confirm that these filamentary structures are under the gravitational influence of the Virgo cluster. Both of the newly discovered filaments are located beyond the 'zero-velocity surface' of the Virgo cluster. One of them is associated in the NGC5353/4 group and the other one appears to penetrates the W and M group of the Virgo cluster. The filamentary structure around the Virgo cluster consisting mainly of the dwarf galaxies allows us to achieve a better understanding of large scale structure and its influence on the build-up of the galaxy cluster at z~0.
The health of foot is connected with individual's health and affects men's activity. In order to develope comfort socks, both foot size and foot shape must be considered. The purpose of this study was to categorize men's foot shape according to age using men's foot scan data (with 2005 Size Korea). Factor analysis, Cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan's test were performed for statistical analysis of the data by SPSS Win 12.00 program. The results are as follows. 1. Nine factors constituting the men's foot were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 77.7% of total variance. 2. On the basis of the cluster analysis, four different foot shapes were categorized. Cluster 1 was characterized by large in toe and ankle size. Cluster 2 was characterized by short foot length, low foot height, and small foot breadth/girth. Cluster 3 was characterized by large and high in foot height. Cluster 4 was characterized by short in foot length and large in foot breadth/girth. 3. Distribution of four foot shape clusters from 20 to 70 years in age above were categorized. For the 20 to 29 years in age, cluster 2, while for the over 30 years in age cluster 4 or cluster 3 is the most dominant foot type. A foot breadth in the 50 years over is wider size range than that in the below 49 years. The foot figures of elderly men over 60 years were smaller than those of below 60 years.

Collective cell migration is a fundamental phenomenon observed in various biological processes such as development, wound healing, and cancer metastasis. During the collective migration, cells undergo changes in their phenotypes from those of stable to the migratory state via the process called epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Recent findings in biology and biochemistry have shown that EMT is closely related to the cancer invasion or metastasis, but not much of the correlations in kinematics and physical forces between the neighboring cells are known yet. In this study, we aim to understand the cell migration and stress distribution within the expanding cell cluster. We constructed the in vitro cell cluster on the hydrogel, employed traction force microscopy (TFM) and monolayer stress microscopy (MSM) to visualize the physical forces within the expanding cell monolayer. During the expansion, cells at the cluster edge exhibited enhanced motility and developed focal adhesions that are the essential features of EMT while cells at the core of the cluster maintained the epithelial characteristics. In the aspect of mechanical stress, the cluster edge had the highest traction force of ~90 Pa directed toward the cluster core, which means that cells at the edge actively pull the substrate to make the cluster expansion. The cluster core of the tightly confined cells by neighboring cells had a lower traction force value (~60 Pa) but the highest intercellular normal stress of ~800 Pa because of the accumulation of traction from the edge of the monolayer.
Many works on energy-efficient cluster event detection schemes have been done considering the energy restriction of sensor networks. The existing cluster event detection schemes transmit only the boundary information of detected cluster event nodes to the base station. However, If the range of the cluster event is widened and the distribution density of sensor nodes is high, the existing cluster event detection schemes need high transmission costs due to the increase of sensor nodes located in the event boundary. In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient cluster event detection scheme using the minimum boundary polygons (MBP) that can compress and summarize the information of event boundary nodes. The proposed scheme represents the boundary information of cluster events using the MBP creation technique in the large scale of sensor network environments. In order to show the superiority of the proposed scheme, we compare it with the existing scheme through the performance evaluation. Simulation results show that our scheme maintains about 92% accuracy and decreases about 80% in energy consumption to detect the cluster event over the existing schemes on average.
